  1. Oh, I just meant, I don't have that one, alas! But then, I only have (mostly) ones from WoR and after, so it's not surprising. And if someone wants me to add some that aren't in the db, I'd be glad to.
  2. Yeah mostly WoR tour and after, but I'll add any that aren't in the db yet.
  3. That WoB isn't in my thread, alas.
  4. I'm using spren as a term for any Splinter on Roshar other than Nightblood, really. So yes I agree with you that they're more than the little voidspren we see by an order of magnitude. I was trying to say that I don't think they can possess someone unwilling (nor would they need to) and that it would be very noticeable, whoever they are or did possess. That being said, there is definitely something going on with Szeth. Maybe not possession, but perhaps a ridealong, feeding off the death and pain he caused.
  5. Yep Brandon has said there are ways of hacking the magic systems so that one type can fuel another type. Have a WoB!
  6. I think the Unmade ARE Odium's spren. Or at least, one type of them, and that they might be able to corrupt other spren. It's unlikely that they'd be able to possess humans though. Consent and friendship are a big part of all the bond-forms that we've seen.
  7. Dalinar never says he knows what they are, just that they are his.
  8. We have a WoB that Hoid did not switch the blades, and that the person who showed up in Kholinar that night is the same person delivered to the warcamps.
  9. I think the spikes do a lot of things to all three types of DNA.
  10. Would he even be able to understand it?
  11. *confused* How would be be able to use magic when he can't even keep from drooling on those days?
  12. Where was it confirmed? The quote only says that we have seen kandra in places other than in Mistborn.
  13. There seem to be some interesting parallels between Memories and different types of beings in the cosmere. It seems like memories and sentience are the easiest thing to lose any time there's Cognitive dissonance. Obviously, memories are stored in the Cognitive DNA. For instance: Kandra and Mistwraiths vs Returned and Lifeless. If you spike a mistwraith, it becomes a kandra. Do you think if you spike a Lifeless, it could gain sentience, and maybe even memories (either it's own or from the spike-donor). A spike seems the easiest way to bridge the damage between Physical and Cognitive, though I'll bet there are others that we haven't seen yet. Some other instances that have come up: Seons whose bonded were taken by the Reod. Spren transitioning from the Cognitive to the Physical Realm (they leave their memories behind?). Dalinar and the memories of his wife. Terrismen/women when they put things into their copperminds. The Stormfather describes himself as "I AM THE MEMORY MEN CREATE FOR HIM, NOW THAT HE IS GONE. " The Lightweavers and their mnemonic abilities, like Shallan's Memories. Any other instances that I missed? Thoughts?
  14. Another thing about Iyatil is that she seems like a nasty piece of work. Would a kandra working for Harmony act like that? Of course, it could be a disguise to blend in with the Ghostbloods....
  15. Well, this one is in the mountains, and goes through Kholinar, Vedenar, Kharbranth, Azimir, and Rall Elorim (sorta). It doesn't go through the Shattered Plains, though, so it's probably a red herring.
  16. I was just thinking of Iyatil but I'm thinking she might be too obvious.
  17. Remember, they are master impersonators so are not likely to have personality changes I nominate Clod for likely kandra candidate (kandradate? sounds kinky...)
  18. I wonder if Mrall is a kandra.
  19. We know that he killed her to prevent the secret getting out. We don't know if she actually intended to do that or not. Not much info on Shashara
  20. Oh Weiry is right. Darn, and I was so excited!
  21. If you want to change it, click on Edit, then click on Full Editor, and you'll be able to edit the topic name I think Brandon said at some point that there were ways to detect and hide Investiture built into each of his magic systems.
  22. Oh, nice! That's an awesome discovery. Mind if I add it to the other thread?
  23. That sounds like a good Alcatraz analogy!
  24. He's referring to the fact that topic titles can be seen from the sidebar on the main forum page. I got slapped down for a similar suggestion a few days ago
  25. I think it's just because there are a lot of people who have Shardblades that the main governments don't know about. Lyss the Weeper has one, the Parshendi had some, the Ghostbloods have some, etc etc. And others might have just been lost/buried/hidden-and-forgotten over the years.
