  1. Since Ruin and Preservation cancel each other out, I think it would just be Odium with three times the power and more control over his intent.
  2. I'm also a ninth grader, and I certainly don't think it's sad.
  3. Oh okay. I think I vaguely remembered you bringing it up in the SfS thread, so I thought it was still from that. It certainly would be a cool shard.
  4. I have a feeling this thread is getting derailed just like the last one lol.
  5. 2. Where are you getting this from? If you're thinking on SfSitFoH, I'm pretty sure we have WoB that the main story of the Cosmere, including all the shards, is told on ten main Shardworlds, and that SfS is not one of them. No Shards there.3. He's talked about this already. He says he doesn't like to read his books much after they're published because the urge to change and improve things is overwhelming. He still does some to avoid contradictions in the story, though. Anyways, welcome to the forums! Sorry for mobbing you with questions so quickly.
  6. Anyone seeing a love square here with Rayse-Hoid-Tanavast-Cultivation?
  7. Is there something important beneath the Purelake where the water drains to?
  8. The first two spoilers are on WoR. The third is just a link to the wiki article on Hoid, idk why it's spoilered at all. I doubt the pushing/pulling concept applies to any other shardworld. After all, it's only an artificial, manmade distinction on Scadrial too.
  9. I thought Hoid described Rayse as a cunning and scheming man, most certainly not as a friend.
  10. I don't think she would spike mistings, since the spikees would be obvious from a sudden loss of their powers.
  11. Hmm. Since he rafo'd it, he probably wouldn't answer this either.
  12. I doubt the Parshendi are created by Odium: if anything, they're corrupted by him. They seem like they're the native inhabitants of Roshar, from before even Honor and maybe Cultivation came. I doubt Odium was here before those two.
  13. Perhaps the three magic systems are: Surgebinding, of both Honor and Cultivation Voidbinding, of both Odium and Cultivation And Fabrjal Science, of Cultivation alone. If so, I'd be interested to see why Cultivation is part of all three magics. Also, on the back chart: I'm pretty sure it's about fabrials. The glyphs all look like spren to me, and Cultivation is on every side. Plus a gem in middle, likely housing the spren.
  14. I'll be sure to remember this oath in Kurkistan's absence.
  15. With the sheer amount of gems they have, the greatshells would be long extinct. And the Alethi would have likely started farming the greatshells instead of hunting them if they had such a reliance on them for gems. So I do think the gems are mined.
  16. Why just the stratosphere? Why not space, while you're at it?
  17. I haven't seen any WoB on it yet, but I could certainly have missed it.
  18. I actually have a crack theory that all spren-bonding creatures, including surgebinders, have gemhearts, though most are likely very small. I support the notion that the Ryshadium's intelligence come from a spren bonded to them. After all,
  19. I also concur with the idea that this is some sort of Stoneward power. "Surface tension", maybe? It seems we've finally got an order with defensive capabilities.
  20. Okay. That's not good. So we should assume that at the very least all day info is breached, and quite likely all night info, especially with how they've been finding all our mistings. Meta, does the Inq hear all in-coming PMs as well as out going? Do they know who the other participant is? And basically, Peng is dead tonight. We have no lurcher, and even if he draws pewter or iron, they still have a Coinshot to overwhelm it. As such, I request an extension to the day in advance so he has time to sort through his PMs and figure out some sort of successor to his knowledge, as well as what he should reveal publicly.
  21. I'm sure she listened on at least a few nights: the info is just too valuable. But I guess we should be sure first. Still, even if she only listened to days, that's alot.
  22. Well, this means that all the Spiked know everything Peng does. This means we have only one option: level the playing field. Peng, post all the info you got from all the nights except the one where Cessie was using another ability. Yes, it's drastic, but the only ones who won't know already are the non-Spiked.
  23. Their offense would definitely be off the charts compared to TLR, but they'd lack the near total invincibility. They could pwn anyone very quick with soulcasting, even TLR, but they're more susceptible to swarming.
  24. The reason we all assume that is because so many have had Shardpools, or likely candidates for them, so far. There's Preservation's Well, Ruin's metallic lake, Devotion's pool, some heavy hints to Endowment's pool, and even a rather suspicious body of water in Roshar in the form of the Purelake. As for the OP: what you're describing is not a Shardpool, mainly because it is solid. However, I do agree with the general idea that gemhearts are the body of a shard, and most likely Cultivation's.
