    So...random idea. An Autobiography written by a monster. Or an alien. Or a robot. Basically, an actor reflecting on their roles, the good, the bad and the stereotyped. With the caveat that the actor in question is, like, Godzilla.

    Not to make it all about me -since most epics seem to want to craft a name for themselves- but that obscurity would be a neat contrast to Sentry. After all, Sentry has her face everywhere and that's how she gets her power. An epic who gets their power from being unknown is a neat counterpoint.

    I admit, it maybe goes against the spirit of what Salem was set up as -Two Epics Enter! One Epic Leaves!- but the diea of really subtle politics strikes me as a very interesting possibility. I mean... On the surface, Salem has the biggest, flashiest, most attention-grabbing thing in Oregon right now in the Collesium. It's the sort of thing that people are going to pay attention to... which means that it's also got a built-in distraction. Not having at least one Starscream-type in that mix would be criminal! But... wow. An assassin epic? That... is a terrifying concept. And very different from most epics, at least in canon. I approve wholeheartedly.

Now I'm imagining her trying to machiaveli her way into devoting resources to kill Vandal under the pretense that he's the murderer, just in case he DOES know her weakness... and trying to balance that with finding the REAL murderer because, seriously, Soulcaster is gonna be mad...

    Please do this. I like playing her as a smug, condescending chull... but it's the kind of characterisation that could really get one-dimensional and needs someone to play off of. Having someone who takes away her power would give plenty of reasons tof roce her to do other stuff. As for how it would affect her, I'd say yes. Blackening her posters would absolutely cause them to stop working. Or rather,they'd still work... but all they would see is the marking covering them, rather than seeing anything "through" it. And yeah, if he's mocking her, it would absolutely trigger her weakness. Which is pretty neat paranoia fuel for an epic, really: "Does he know my weakness, or is this just his M.O? What do I do?!" kind of thing.

    Well, I have finally finished my sixty hour work week. Naturally, the first thing I did after finishing a twelve hour shift is not sleep. I might regret this later.

    I can buy him being nervous. I think the eye shuttering thing doesn't help, since it looks more like he's glaring... ...But the moment is so, unbelievably meta that I don't think it's worth judging anything from. It's addressed to the fans; whether it also happens to be a line he drops to Team Cap in the process is a whole other issue.

    I haven't had time to read this. Sorry; work got busy. I have one small character quirk though...my guy is called "Rob". And is very insistent that it's " Rob", not "Robbie", etc. So, okay, it seems like it's short for Robert and he doesn't like that for some reason...

    So, I was looking for pictures of Ramsey Snow, and accidently typo'd it as "Tramsey". I am now forced to imagine a world where the characters of Game of Thrones are portrayed by trains and steam engines. I want to live in that world.

    Okay, but in all seriousness. Much as I like the Harry Potetr books, there are a lot of extra-curricular stuff that goes unmentioned. We know about Quidditch, but is that the only sport there is at the school? What other kind of clubs are there? Is there a music club? A group that meets every Wednesday to try and map out the ever changing stairways and corridors of Hogwarts castle? This is 2016... so do electronics work now? Because, really, do you think any kid is going to go to magic academy if they can't bring their iPod? Also, cultural divides. The Wizarding World [ijust finished a war[/i]. How do they explain that to new, Muggleborn students? Even if there was no plot - just slice of life adevtnures- there is a lot of stuff we could do.

    Thing is, I don't need them. But, I'm the new guy, and telling the management "No," when they ask? Jerk move. Like I say, I don't mind working them...it's just such a last minute change it's annoying. And really, I wouldn't mind as much...except from what I've heard he's done this type of thing before. So. Bah. Annoying. But hey, curry favor with the boss as reliable, I guess.

    My co-workers is a jerk. He didn't show up last night, forcing someone else to cover his shift. He was meant to be on tonight and tomorrow, too, and I'm guessing he dropped out of those, since I got called in. I don't mind doing more work -more hours means more pay- but harmony damnation it. Literally dropping new hours on me at the last minute? I've spent the entire evening rearranging my plans for the next few days on account of it.
