These are not in-universe text, guys. It is there to advertise the contents of the book, not as a report by some sort of interworld subversive organization that recruits secondary characters from everywhere and uses them to do mysterious things that we don't get wait a minute I just remembered this is Brandon. Never mind then. My money's on the overdramatic artist.

Malicious Snarkiness? If that's one, then Shallan and Hoid are going to team up, join Odium, and be rulers of the world through their application of sarcastic comments. They could blow away Kharbranth with an ironic response, and they would play off eachother until the world was destroyed in their snarky debate!

WOR finished (OFFICIALLY) - Launch date confirmed
Swimmingly replied to Natans's topic in Stormlight Archive
There was that little issue in which the original author was rather terminally reduced in his capacity to write... -
But Surface tension has to do explicitly with the manipulation of materials, which really brings the Smith part of Bondsmith to mind for me. Also, Dalinar just gave up his Shards. I'm guessing an ability that can turn a piece of fabric into a hard, thin, Stormlight infused, deadly edge is going to come in useful.

Will they accept recruits from cat-analogues on different worlds? We've seen axehounds, and there are never dogs without cats, so there must be hatchetcats or adzelynxes somewhere. On a side note, please say adzelynxs ten times fast, because it's Awesome.

Or he can be the slightly morally dodgy but insanely skilled and lovable badass who can beat overconfident surgebinders using his superior skill with the Blade and Plate. Plate practically already is superpowers, so he can still be one mean mutha without the ability to send people falling upwards into blue eternity or fall from an approximately equal distance without armour.

And make sure that you don't do what I did and have an overzealous virus filter knock it out. If you can conclusively prove that you have already received it in a pm to me - maybe by showing a screenshot of the email you got it in - , I formatted an epub version of WS I can get to you for reading convenience. If anyone thinks that this is a morally dodgy idea, please pm me as well and I will cease and desist until I get specific permission from Peter or Brandon

The Dysian Aimians - Made of "things put together"

Kurkistan Catquisitor, keeper of ill-bonds, holder of oaths: Is such a small bond so hard for thee to know and keep among the others?! Use thou the Bookmark to keep this thread for some few years, or until this matter is done.

http://brandonsanderson.com/books/the-stormlight-archive/words-of-radiance/ I can't really think of any other way to interpret this. Please cease arguing, unless you have a conflicting theory, in which case, let's hear it cause it will be something indeed

Also I have several decades before we find out the name of Adonalsium's holder was (or IS)
-
I will also Kabsal style if I lose.
-
I think that even being honorable/a good person is not necessarily enough - and Adolin is a bit snobby, if not exactly a bad person.

It's a mystery wrapped in a red herring tucked in an easter egg stuffed rather violently into a cameo Also, want 7 books or so, then plug the actually nonsensical words from that passage into an anagram solver equipped with the full cast of characters and concepts introduced in the Storm light Archive. If, by the end of the series, none of that works, then Gibletish, the other one, or some anagram of them will be the name of the original holder of Adonalsium. I will bet three truths, the anticipation in an unopened book, and the colour of a deep summer sky on it. Kabsal style. Get Kurk over here to record it.

Solicitation for FAQs and their Answers - Sel
Swimmingly replied to Kurkistan's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
Probably it could have one, if the people really needed it and had a Shard's help to set it up. But with a god-civilization just over the fjordell sea, they probably never needed it. Who knows, maybe there is one after all and it has just fallen into disuse. -
Oh my. Oh myohmyohmy. Kurk, you just said something magical wasn't related to forms. Kurk, buddy, are you OK? Do you want a drink? I'll use the collective unconscious of sentient species everywhere to envision it into existence, you just sit tight. Here you go, Kurk. Careful of the spren, now.

An anagram said by a character known for clever puns, trickster riddles, and plottiness, while discussing "pulling things apart and putting them back together in a different order", to another character who's refutation of the anagrammed word is one of the most important plot points in the book, is mere coincidence? Perhaps it's just a red herring or an easter egg, windy my friend, but I very much doubt it's a coincidence. Unless it was unconscious on Brandon's part.

Personally, I think it's more likely that L was actively protecting Gaz in some way in exchange for the bribes, perhaps by suppressing rumors or just strongarming his peers and superiors to keep Gaz alive. He doesn't even need to have blackmail material, in that scenario: Gaz knows that L doesn't lose out on much if he drops his protection, but L likes to bully and extort money from Gaz. If L is ever in a tight spot, he's got a dependant to save him, and poor Gaz at least stays alive, taking out his cruelty and frustration on the bridgemen he is reduced to caring for.

How do we know that? Perhaps reasoning life even required collaboration between all three shards, à la Ruin and Preservation
-
Necromancy! Also, I agree. It might have something to do with that cultural berserk button
-
Well, we've seen the past, we've seen the worst-case scenario, and it looks like, if the mistakes of the past are repeated, we're heading for it. So, perhaps the best thing to do is not repeat the past - make peace between all creatures, even Odium's, etc.
-
That's a fine theory. Interpretations so far range from "reunite the Knights Radiant" to "reunite the Heralds" to "reunite the Shards". The nebulous nature of prophecy probably means that all these are valid as theories.

Indeed we are. We are so special we buy things you help create and sell with great fervor, and probably give yourself and Brandon excellent things to laugh over.
