  1. This game was awesome! @Ashbringer was a great GM, and my teammates were likewise very fun to play with. I also appreciate Elandera as co-GM .
  2. What?! Suspicious of me? All I did was pass Nightblood on to someone slightly more Invested. Besides, for me to be evil this game, not only would I have bussed the most powerful role on my team, but I would also have been evil 4 times in a row. I'm pretty sure the odds of Mist being village are significantly higher than the odds of me being elim.
  3. I'm leaning toward 3 elims left, since both Neutral players had goals that hurt the elim team. So you and Doriyah could be elims with a more active third member.
  4. At this point it’s more that there are very few players that possibly could be elims, and you are one of them. You haven’t been actively trying to solve the game, and you didn’t have any significant interactions with the neutral players, which is why I think Eternum and probably STINK are village. My advice for the future would be that the best defense is SE is a good offense (or a village only role). Doriyah is in a pretty similar spot, but will almost certainly be removed by the filter, so there is no point in lynching him. I have SfS, Doriyah, Lotus, and Mist as possible elims. So yeah, I guess you’re right about this.
  5. I guess I'm probably a target anyway, so I'll go ahead and claim Nightblood. I don't have enough Stormlight to use it until the next Storm, and I'm not going to claim my other blade (which I haven't used at all) until the Day turn comes around. I'll just put it out there that I'm considering using the suicide kill, since I figure there is a decent chance that I get killed anyway.
  6. I’m most suspicious of both SfS (from my previous suspicions) and STINK (out of the players that voted for Gears). However, SfS didn’t vote last turn. Not sure what that means, although the vote manip could have been due to worry that SfS wasn’t voting in self-defense. Or it could be a ploy.
  7. My original reason to vote on you was that we need to depose somebody, and I picked you at random. I think explained earlier why I haven't changed since them. I think it actually tends to be fairly representative of the players in the game. I'm pretty sure I maintain the same amount of aggressiveness regardless of my alignment. However, there has been a recent influx of new players, most of whom tend to lie low while learning the ropes.
  8. I'm mostly popping in to say that I'm still comfortable with my vote. While I agree there can be value in not acting on a suspicion right away, I don't see any value in publicizing that you have a suspicion that you are unwilling to share.
  9. I think (assuming the elims don't get a Nightblood kill in) that Chanarach can only really help us at this point. Right now the game stands to end after 2 mislynches and 2 night kills. A missed Chanarach kill would cause it to end with a second mislynch, which doesn't get rid of any village power. Of course, Vedel/Paliah could save someone as well, which would mess that up, and cause Chanarach to be unhelpful.
  10. Hmm. I don't consider myself dangerous. Rather, I am a strong supporter of Safety (PM Safety, in particular). And of course I'll happily murder anyone that I think is making the game a less Safe place to be .
  11. While I appreciate the sentiment here, a double execution isn't necessarily a bad thing. For starters, in past games, players who are voted on D1 tend to get voted out later if they don't die the first time around, so a double execute saves us a future execution. Also, the vote is where the village has power. So by executing multiple people at once, we get proportionally greater power over the elims. If we force the elims to reveal themselves to manipulate the vote, all the better. That's half the point of executing people in the first place.
  12. I was suspicious of Eternum, but I think the circumstances around the kill on Matrim makes him and STINK both look fairly village. Honestly, I find this rather suspicious, but it could just be a mindset sort of thing. Anyone I don't have concrete stuff to generate a read of at this point on the game automatically goes in the elim category, because they haven't been making an obvious effort to help the village. The only reason to defend such a person is if they are a teammate.
  13. Really the only thing I have on Gears is that he didn't care who was lynched D1. If we assume that you are village, which I am inclined to do, then I think that fits more with an elim than a villager. I would also say the lack of contribution last cycle is somewhat suspicious. My list of other potential lynchees is Vasher, Lotus, Mist, and SfS, which I gave a sort of arbitrary order to last cycle. Fura had SfS as a (sort of) elim, who I had as a slight village read, but the reasons Fura gave are definitely stronger than mine: And I didn't pay a ton of attention to Lotus and Ventyl being at odds with each other when I did my reread, but for now I'll say that Lotus is probably lower priority of a lynch for me. So my new order (most to least willing to kill) is something like: Gears SfS Doriyah Mist Lotus
  14. Perhaps. I’m surprised that the elims didn’t kill Whysper, who is more confirmed village than anyone else. Gears is my greatest suspicion at this point. I’m pretty sure that Eternum is village, based on what was said last cycle.
  15. I think we should go for brutal honesty and use “murder”.
  16. This just requires you being honest about actually starting with Ishar, right? And that is compatible with you being an elim. While Tension is a strong ability for the elims, the fact you immediately lost the blade means it can’t have been too overpowered.
  17. I agree with Fura on Connie. This post by Books is the reason, aside from the D4 Ventyl lynch: I don't think an elim would defend a teammate so strongly on D1 (this is one of Books's most solid reads). There's also the last minute vote on Ventyl during D2, which is very village if we have accounted for the vote manip not coming from the elims. Gears was briefly a lynch option on D1, but that never really picked up, mostly because a lot of what he said was normal Gears stuff. He was fine with either a Connie or a Danex lynch, which could be an elim mindset. These posts from STINK (referring to Matrim) make me think he's village: Aside from being surprisingly accurate, I don't think an elim would express concern over a neutral like this. They'd just keep the information to themselves. This also doesn't really fit with the elims trying to kill Matrim on N3. So far the biggest thing about SfS is this vote on me: I feel that an elim might be less willing to vote on me (with no reason) due to my reputation, and the explanation here seems fairly honest. It's really not much to go off of, but I have a slight village read on SfS here. Lotus was voted on by Books during D3: This was pretty close to the end of the cycle, so there wasn't really any chance of Lotus getting lynched. Not sure if this was distancing or not, but it makes me lean village on Lotus. In D4 there were 3 votes on Fura in quick succession: Mist, Ventyl, and Lotus. This makes me less suspicious of Mist and Lotus, since elims probably wouldn't want to vote in a block like that. I'd also like to make note of the elim kills: N1: Matrim N2: Illwei N3: Matrim N4: Devotary N5: Alvron In particular, I doubt STINK would be on a team that would kill Matrim if they thought he was Neutral. Eternum knew Devotary had a kill, so I'd say that he has a higher chance of being an elim as a result. Alvron seems like a pretty straightforward kill, while Illwei seems a little less clear. And that's pretty much everything, which puts my village reads as the following, from strongest to weakest: Fura Connie STINK Lotus SfS Mist Elim reads are (albeit rather weak): Eternum Gears (way less confident than Eternum) I'm also happy with lynching Vapor, Whysper, or Vasher, but the Devotary role thing with Eternum is the most concrete thing I have right now.
  18. I have also changed my name back. @Gears @Somebody from Sel @Lotus @Ookla the Grammatical @Ookla who goes DORIYAH!! @Mist @Vapor @Whysper @STINK @Eternum Everyone listed here has been kinda quiet (at least in the thread). I know last cycle was pretty boring, but please try to contribute as much as you can moving forward.
  19. I'll sign up as Fade (a figment for RP purposes). Don't be surprised if he is secretly a dangerous human warrior.
  20. I think elim!you might have been incentivized to ignore that post and try to propose an alternate lynch. You aren't really near the top of my suspicion list, but I thought it was worth mentioning my thoughts on your vote, especially now that Jester has flipped village.
