  1. I think a Shardworld is important if it has at least one whole Shard, which thankfully, Warbreaker does. Also, we know that there will be a sequel to it, Nightblood, so we can assume it will be reasonably important.
  2. Eh. I could see it both ways. Adolin is starting to understand.
  3. ha. I will, Kurk. I just mean, protocol. What is and what isn't polite? Also, what is and what isn't awkward? I think I know enough ways to get plenty of great questions, but part of my problem is the deliverance (I'm not a real social guy). So. In another word, how do I make the most of the experience?
  4. Just a question: I'm going to be going to the second San Francisco signing on his WoR tour. What should I do for maximum profit? (I've done a signing before, but I don't think I got maximum profit that time
  5. Gosh darn it Brandon! Really, is this necessary? I'm tempted to think that Hoid is breaking the fourth wall here. Maybe that's what you get by compounding sazedium.
  6. Barty moves in to speak, hoping for any interaction beyond the confines of his own mind. He halts as if a wall has dropped into existence in front of him. "What in the-" he curses. Beetle chuckles. I'm sorry. Are we not good enough for you? Chiming in, Aether leers. Are my LISTS not enough either? Barty scowls. "Come on. Of course you two are not good enough for me. You're not real. Just a story." A new voice steps in. What do you mean, two of us? Last I checked, there were four. Mat and I are just having a little trouble, that's all. He should be here soon. And even more importantly, what do you mean, just a story! Everything is stories. There is nothing that's not a story, and the stories that we tell ourselves our of the utmost importance! Beetle grins wide, child exuberance shining malevolently through the gaps in his teeth. Clancy! The storyteller spreads his arms out dramatically. I'm here. Let's see what we can do. So! The original Spiked are coming back! But what are they here for? Could it be... redemption? Or not. They weren't that morally adept to begin with. But they sure will try.
  7. Woo! Got a little The Westing House vibe. Well! Good Night! (Both game time and real time). Once again, thanks, Meta.
  8. Well, if he has abilities like those, then he will lose his advantage of surprise by playing his hand so early in the game. No, I think it more likely that a). Meta is trolling us, or he b.) has some Feruchemical things going on.
  9. I don't really see how we need a good one, here. Nothing's happened (unless you consider all of our talky talky to be action. I mean, nothing intense or anything). What I'm excited for is tonight.
  10. Uhh... awkward moment when not sure if insult or typo... And Shardbearer, you're pretty much right. I mean, we don't know much, and that is (to the best of my knowledge) mostly implied stuff, but as I said, you're about right.
  11. "Ooh... Aether gon be pissed..." Barty scuttles his way through the room, weaving between the various patron. He doesn't know Aether that well; he has only met him within the day, and there is reason to distrust everyone in the room. But it almost feels like he has worked with Aether before. I'm the list guy, a voice tells him indignantly. Barty cocks his head. A new one? Aether, Beetle says, and Barty gets the image of a malnourished child spreading his arms wide. Good to see you! "More?" Barty whispers, even as he grabs another drink. How can this Ruin-cursed world be fair, when some struggle for friends while he has to carry a whole host of them in his head? I like the idea of the old Spiked being Barty's constant companions. A way for their "cognitive shadows" to show through. If Kell can do it...
  12. We need to give Ping a short leash. I say, one or two chances to prove himself, and then he goes. It would be perfect for him 2 be inquisitor. Even if he delays for only 3 deaths, thAt gives them three new spiked as well.
  13. That's a little bit of the idea. There's not a huge 'divide' between the various persona's, because they're basically one. If it's really that much of a problem...
  14. Woo! Yay for Ping! I wouldn't be too excited yet, Bary. He's probably tricking you. What do you know, Beetle. I know that deceptions are ridiculously easy. If he has one person trusting him, then he can get that person to vouch for him, and then we're screwed. Or, let's say that he's the inquisitor. If he has a smoking ability, then he can claim that the inquisitor must be able to smoke, and is trying to decieve. I know it wasn't hard when I was a Spiked. Barty looks up in surprise. "What?" Beetle does not reply.
  15. Hi! Barty Spiked here! Um, I'm not sure what to say. Personally, I agree with Clancy's logic. But I too no want to be dead. Red: no vote
  16. Silly Aether, madness is my specialty! Or not. I'm really only a little bit good at madness. I can't even Shut up. Oh, come on! I only want to Shut up. You can be a real son of a Shut up. Fine.
  17. wait, wut? I'm excited. (Of course, it's probably going to be off screen).
  18. For Elantris: Think Shaod. I mean, SPOILERS we know that it is a two part process, and without the second part, it basically turns you into a zombie. The first part of the shaod is what breaks the soul, and the second magickifies it.
  19. Remember, if it had been any other shardbearer, they probably would have died.
  20. Uh... hi. I would like to play, as well, but if there gets to be a lot of people and space is needed, I am absolutely happy to step out. My name is uh, Barty Spiked.. I am incredibly paranoid, schizophrenic, and a compulsive liar. I am absolutely not Spiked. Right? This is going to be interesting, considering how I am a compulsive liar and hear voices in my head. Can my voices speak, too? Also: Do you know if you're an unsnapped versus a regular villager?
  21. Wait... didn't Rubix say something about not doing this? Has something changed? I mean, I would love to do another, but I want to be sure first.
