Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
bartbug replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
To Aether: Seriously? So you're deal with Darnam wasn't just a vote, it was you would try and kill me until I is dead. You've already voted against me once. Shouldn't that be null and void already? EDIT: Well, that's a convenient excuse for your continued vote.- 462 replies

Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
bartbug replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, now that's convenient. Since I'm alive, you can say that you're practically proven innocent because of that. Maybe the Spiked thought that the coinshot would kill me and didn't want to waste the chance to get two villagers down in one go. <This is just speculation. Seriously, this is just idle speculation. In the end, it comes down to that scene in the Princess Bride. I know that you know etc. My reasons for voting for Dyring are the ones that have been put up before.> My vote is for Dyring, but I want it to be clear that this can be changed very easily. It is early in the day.- 462 replies

Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
bartbug replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, Dyring. We were lucky this round, enough so that we got two Seekers. We accidently killed one, and now it's time for us to use the other. There is no "100%" accurate evidence against me. Let's go over what you have given me: This is literally all of the reasoning he gave for me, and this was one of the very first votes. *relatively* That's reason number two. Once again, and in game and irrelevant thing. Okay, dyring. I "came forward" yes, because I was about to die. Yes, Edgar did take a silly risk. I looked more credible, so he ended up dead. He should've kept his trap shut and gathered more evidence. (I am really, really surprised that I'm not dead yet. I think it must be some type of convoluted game theory. Spiked think that the coinshot will kill me, don't want to waste an attack, coinshot thinks Spiked). So, someone obviously wants me to not die, probably because they think that I'm the Seeker. And if you two are trying to kill me, then it looks like you are spiked. And there is no way in hell that I would guess what Maill was. If I was Spiked, I would claim that he was copper clouded or something. Which I am not doing. And this came from where? Did Edgar Seek me from behind the grave or something? Sorry, Dyring, but there is absolutely no solid evidence, just conjecture from how I was the second person to vote for Grayv. Which tells us that I think ties are a bad idea.- 462 replies

Ooh, Ooh! I just had a thought thing. What if the jury rigging part is hemalurgy? If Demoux gets a little bit of breath breathing in from some other Rosharan, then he could get the Stormlight in. Of course, there are moral problems, but I'm sure that they would probably try to avoid those.

Hey guys. I seeked Mailliw: he's an ordinary villager. He's no misting. (Which, given the information in these recent accusations, isn't that surprising).- 462 replies

Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
bartbug replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, guys. I (mentally) went over the facts, and I've decided that getting me to "prove" anything is a waste of time. Then it just comes down to who else you guys trust and if he's telling the truth. It's all up to trust, which is the truth anyways. I am going to Seek someone tonight, and we're still going to vote. But here's the catch: vote for whoever you think is Spiked. If I survive, I'll pass on the info to you. You can use it or not, but I want the villagers to win, and we only win together. New vote: who do you think is Spiked?- 462 replies

To be honest, though, Seeking you is a tremendous waste of time. If no one is Lurching me, then the Spiked will almost certainly kill me tonight, and even then, they will certainly keep at attempts the more I proove some innocent and condemn others. How about this: People vote for who I should seek. Then, I will follow the majority.- 462 replies

Okay, Mailliw. I've told Metacognition that you are the one whom I am seeking tonight. Prepare yourself for frantically joining my side. And dyring: Other than save my own skin, what have I done to make me almost certainly a Spiked, when the only certain thing is how I am our last Seeker?- 462 replies

Hey, you people who want to kill me. I didn't realize that Edgar was a Seeker also. To be fair, he wasn't able to give a single person and I was. There can be more than one Seeker.- 462 replies

Why is it too late? By my counts, if one person secedes from their side, then it's a draw, and neither Edgar or I die. Of course, then we have a draw, which is already known to be bad, but it's up to (us?) to decide if that's worth it.- 462 replies

In response to Darnam: (By the way, rest of the game, if the tineye was still alive, I would be using PM for this. Sorry to make a such a two person conversation take place) I'm sorry that you feel like you've already gone over this, and in all honesty, I think I might be missing something. To be clear, I am only reading from this one post that you have linked to. This is the pertinent part of your post, right? I can read, sometimes. Maybe? Any, onwards. And this is the post that broke the Darnam's back. I guess that I didn't say this in a very clear (or polite) way, as it is so easy to do on the internet. What I was trying to communicate, I believe, is that Edgar had a role in Grayv's death that is more suspicious and Spikey than mine. I understand you now, and I think the problem was mostly miscommunication from my part. And for the making lots of noise? Yes, you could say that. I feel like I am drowning right now, and in all honesty, I will pull at anything to keep myself above water. Sorry for any problems, and this should be my last post unless something new comes up. No hard feelings.- 462 replies

Little Wilson: If you can help me, that would be tremendously appreciated. Kukri: I know that you want to test who is the real seeker, or if we both are. If you preserve me (I bet that you can force a tie ) then I will follow through with your plan. EDIT: I want any non voters to know that in actuallity, their votes are pivotal. This is going to be close as it is. By not doing anything, you're effectively voting for me to die.- 462 replies

Long Game 1: In the Wake of the Koloss
bartbug replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Dude. Darnam, I just reread your post. The "logic" is basically any of the seven who voted for Grayv (which makes some sense) should have a high chance of being guilty. And then you arbitrarily chose me. What? If I remember correctly, the one who made the pivotal vote, the one that actually swung things around, was Edgar. So, now we have someone who has been suggested from a variety of places, with multiple pieces of evidence. First, he is (probably) lying about being a Seeker. Second, Jason died after he suggested Edgar. This could be a coincidence, but I doubt it. Finally, we have this about him being the one who changed the vote that ultimately killed Grayv. Edgar works with my logic and your logic. EDIT: Additional evidence for Item number 1: He's not telling us who he tried to Seek on night one, just that it was "inconclusive". "- 462 replies

Stick with your guns. THat's fine. Your logic is about as sound as it could get, given what you know. But you should let Aether and Clancy choose who they want to vote on, let them stick to their guns.- 462 replies

Mailliw: Right now, I am trying to survive. Besides, as I mentioned when I first voted for Darnam, it was a tenuous vote. I was on the fence, and it was a just in case thing. And you Ninja'd me, so it's not like I was trying to follow you. (Please believe me XD). EDIT: Not a real Ninja, but more like I didn't realize that there were 12 pages, not 11, so I thought that no one had gone. Then I realized, and I was like, crap.- 462 replies

Okay Darnam. I see your point. I didn't realize how unsure you were, and how you are just taking what seems to you to be the best lead. My vote is now to to Edgar. I encourage you to join me. We've both said that we are Seekers, but I'm the only one who has actually given anything that I've Seeked. Come on. If we kill Edgar, and he is a Villager, than tomorrow you can kill me. Or, you kill me today, and then you find out that I was telling the truth, and then you kill Edgar anyways. Or, we're both lying, or the Spiked kill Edgar tonight after you kill me. I don't know. But my case is much stronger than Edgar's.- 462 replies

I'm saying that you used the "Grayv Incident" as your reasoning that I should die. That same logic condemns you, or at least implicates you. Getting a large amount of people to vote with you really isn't that suspicious. What is is two others whose votes are "tied up with yours". As I said, you (yourself) are the scapegoat for them getting in trouble when your Seeker dies. I just want to see what's your thought process, because writing it out might show you that you really should not be voting for me. Waiting for your reply.- 462 replies

Darnam... I honestly believe that you are not Spiked. At least, I want to believe that. You used good logic in choosing me, but you openly admitted in your first post that there were two others who you figured as equal chances with me. But Mailliw raised an excellent point. The way you raised votes against me literally mirrors the way that the Spiked, as you say, influenced the vote against Grayv. Not voting yet, just getting my thoughts out: It's either Edgar or Darnam. Edgar, because he has given all fluff and no substance, and Darnam, because it looks like you, Aether, and Clancy are all spiked. Just saying, the way you "orchestrated" Darnam getting three votes is a great way of killing a villager while leaving one scapegoat.- 462 replies

I was trying to keep this not known, but alas, I believe that I need to pull this out. I am the Seeker, and I have had nothing but really, bad luck. I got Jason seeked as normal, and then (this is new), I got Gambles seeked. He's good, too. To reiterate: I am the Seeker, Gambles is a clean, average villager. Now Lurchy, please protect me. I'm almost positive that the Spiked will try to kill me now.- 462 replies

We can still look at the victims. What we know about the victims, the Spiked know. I mean, I hope they weren't just randomly choosing, because that would mean that we are sucking because we suck. Which would suck. EDIT: I'm trying to say that if the Spiked were actually skilled in choosing whom to kill, that would be nice, because that would imply greater skill on all parties. EDIT2: We know that we have no info from dr. digits, because they had know info. Let's look at jason, and the other dead guy. EDIT3: Other dead guy is Grayv, who was voted dead. He would be almost impossible to glean information on. Let's focus on why Jason.- 462 replies
