  1. Yeah, my tidbit about Aonar was mostly just grasping at straws, no real conviction or suspicion there. But this new info by Peng is pretty enticing. What do ya say, Shiv, hasing the reasoning on why we shouldn't hang you? Edit: Rethink, was it just after last night when either of the Snapped came forward? When exactly did you get the messages from Cessie and Shiv?
  2. Yeah, why are we going for Herwynbe, exactly? And we still don't know if the Inquisitor has claimed a role or innocent villager to Peng or not either. Yes, he might have knowing that he had that Uber-bronze to protect him and make him show up 'Normal' when seeked, but remember this is one of the powers he has given away. I know I wouldn't plan on using or rely on a power I'll end up giving away. I would think the Inquisitor has claimed some sort of role that they can prove to Peng, assuming they jumped on the plan to give Peng their role info. (Which it looks like we decided as a group that NOT sending in our roles was suspicious to begin with). Edit: One quick little quip of suspicion... Aonar did seem pretty convinced that somebody was converted and that Meta just forgot to add in the power. Not saying that means anything, exactly. Just seemed to be a more assertive statement than speculation to me.
  3. Gamon was walking around the bar stretching his legs, the group had been at it all night and he must have drank a little bit more than he thought. His internal clock was telling him day should have come hours ago, but the darkness and the mists held steady, unyielding and impassive. On a second stroll around the bar a list off to the side of the entrance caught his attention. "What's this?" He said, reading the list. His brow furrowed, and then he turned and cleared his throat to get everybody's attention. "I would like to make a toast." He said, raising a glass of water -- water holding the antidote the delay Modeft's poison -- , "To the health and longevity of our Mistborn. I make this toast on what this list proclaims to be his anniversary of birth!" He raised the glass of water to his lips and then paused. He looked over at Peng quizzically, "Mistborns do celebrate birthdays, right? Or do they celebrate when they Snapped, or something weird like that?"
  4. I saw this and immediately thought Stormfather as well. I was going to share this on here, but I figured somebody would beat me to it.
  5. I'll go ahead and let everyone know I've told peng my role as well. And my voting history has been pretty clear, I've just been throwing my hat in with Peng the whole time. Still don't have any solid suspicions yet, so basically just waiting til morning to see who we have left to work with.
  6. Oh I'm definitely okay with breaking down and discussing things that have already happened. I'm just worried about us already planning on voting somebody for the next day before the night cycle even ends. We definitely should have more discussion going on, trying to figure out everybody's motives and whatnot up until this point. I just don't want the Inquisitor to basically know beforehand what our next move will be. Edit: Also, it does suck having to follow Peng's decisions on who to vote for without usually any justification, but as Peng has stated. sometimes, if he explained his actions thoroughly with the public, it would tip the Inquisitor off to what Peng is trying to accomplish. While it does suck that he has basically only targeted Regular villagers (depriving us of potential 'snapped') I don't know how he could go about this any better at the moment, unfortunately.
  7. I really don't think we should discuss voting stuff at Night Cycle. We've already made our choices on who to kill for the day, let the Inquisitor make their choice. Anything we discuss, or any more suspicions we voice during the Night just give the Inquisitors more ammunition to work with.
  8. Eh. I had a feeling Eddy wasn't suspicious. But at least we didn't give the Inquisitors any Spike Fodder. I'll count that as a (small) success. :/
  9. couldn't Meta just copy & paste from the PM's and add them to whatever Google Doc he has set up for the Inquisitors? He asked to be part of any PMs for this round between players (just to make sure we followed rules. In the first game a group of us were PM'ing and came across a possible infraction of the rules unknowingly, so Meta may just be wanting to be around to make sure that doesn't happen again) ((Then again, that could just be a cover for more menacing reasons! BUM BUM BUM!)) (((And if Meta is sharing our Game PM's, or at least info from them, I'm sure it's all game related anyway, and I trust Meta would have good enough discretion to not share anything sensitive/not game related))) Edit: [in brackets, cause 4 parentheses are too much] [[Now that I've posted this, this sounds suspiciously like info the Inquisitors would be privy too, knowing if/how something like this would work. I would like to assert, this is just my assumptions based off of if something like 'Uber-Tin' existed.]]
  10. Looks like our Mistborn cast a vote for Eddy, as per the general agreement. I will assume he has good reason for it. Although we should take a look at Aspren. He has had a few suspicions tossed around about him, and now that hes even telling us he's going to be taking a back role, I dunno. Just sounds very Inquisitor-ish. Especially considering we've been openly talking about getting rid of inactive, background players if nothing else. I dunno. Just voicing a few thoughts.
  11. Gamon stumbled through the door way, he had heard the screams and come running. He hadn't slept much, he tossed and turned in a fitful sleep, nightmares of being chased by spike wielding shadows. The dreams hit a little too close to home. And then he was awoken by the screams, and he knew already what had happened. We lost another one. He pushed his way through the gathering crowd in time to see Eddy, still slightly drunk and slurring from the night before, gently lowering down Lucy's body. She had been strung up in the same fashion as Modeft. All too gruesome and ominous. We've been had, he thought. Losing two important Mistings two nights in a row? too much of a coincidence for me.... He excused himself and quickly ran outside to empty his stomach. It was going to be a horrible day. The red sun blazed in the sky like a bloody eye, and ash began to fall. Edit: Fixed to two*
  12. Wait. you've seen this collection firsthand?! So do like half of you all secretly know eachother in real life?
  13. lol, pretty much 100% of my PMs are Elimination related. Although that tangent we had in our PMs about MtG was pretty hilarious. (even Meta got in on it!, lol)
  14. Fantastic work. Many kudos! I'm trying to think of suggestions, can only think of Stormlight stuff, lol. Like Chapter Icons (Kaladin's Spear symbol and stuff) and then the Border Headings of the Heralds (and the Masked Man) I can't really remember any symbols or stuff from Warbreaker. Maybe try and find a cool design for Nightblood? (somewhere) (Maybe do like a .gif of someone with Royal Locks changing hair color?) How about doing some Wheel of Time symbols? I'm sure you could do stuff with the Aes Sedai symbol and the Dragon icon, or Heron marked swords or cool stuff. You got some nice photoshop skills.
  15. That is scary. Because that's exactly how the Spiked won last game. I should know, I was one of the duped. Beetle got in the group and played us like an old country fiddle. so I personally recommend not going forward with that anymore (to whomever is in there), but I can understand the desire to want to have a small, closed confidential PM circle. But that is an Inquisitor or converted's best friend, trust me. Especially considering if the results of that group so far have been nothing but sowing conflict in the group. (causing the majority to swing against the Mistborns wishes. That is probably the most counter-productive thing that can be done at this point, since anything Peng does is completely guaranteed to be free of the taint of Inquisitor suspicion)
  16. Barts got a good point. In our first game, our first suspicions DID turn out to be the right ones. Something to keep in mind.
  17. Excellent list! Now we, as the readers, just need to decide, as Aether would say -- "what kind of particular truth your list is telling." Edit: I wish I could upvote seven times for the Chandrian reference... just for Kvothe's sake.
  18. It's night time. No voting happening now. And we really shouldn't voice suspicions and stuff at night, I think. It only gives the Inquisitors potential fodder to play off of it and give them more info and insight on what to do for the night. (I know they did stuff like that last game) Let's just hang tight, chill, have some drinks, and not go wandering out alone into the mists, m'kay?
  19. Basically, just keep reading for Mat. It's worth it.
  20. Eh. I still say ya shoulda trusted it to the snapped. Best bet on not being a convert, at the moment. But let's hope whoever the info got sent to can all be trusted. :/
  21. oh wait. Duh. If only one person has come forward claiming to be a SNAPPED, then we actually know that they are not inquisitor or converted. Peng, if you haven't sent the PMs out yet, DON'T! 4-5 people is too big a circle to trust, and I really think the snapped is a much better choice to give the info to as back-up. There's no guarantee he won't eventually convert, but he can release that info safely in time.
  22. it's up to you and what you've enjoyed most from the series so far, I guess. A lot of people really don't like books 7-10, and I can understand. Stuff definitely starts to get out of control, and then house politics and stuff can lull for a while. So if that stuff really turns you off, then it will be a little tough to get through. For me, I read WoT after A Song of Ice and Fire series, and I didn't mind the politics and worldbuilding as much as some people do. Yeah, character development is a slow process, but it makes sense given the characters. Rand and Perrin are some stubborn S-O-B's. For me, book 6 and onward all became about Mat, personally. he was by far my favorite character, and I would just keep reading until I got to his next chapter. But heck, you're already 6 books in. Might as well continue now. Especially worth it for the super epic ending, IMHO.
  23. Yeah, I was just saying IF we had three lurchers, that'd be cool. But I don't even know if we have ONE left. (Lets hope, at least?)
