  4. I've only the read the full novel version of Ender's Game. I've read the Ender Quartet and am listening to Shadow Puppets, however I only listen to audiobooks while travelling so won't finish it for some time.
  5. Nothing, I think. Maybe he was close to his fourth Ideal, so he got his armour spren anyway, except they could never be deployed, only his Skybreaker ones.
  6. Welcome to the Shard! Can you tell us which Sanderson books you've read so far? And your favourite character too? The Shard is quiet at this hour, because the US is asleep. So, if you're awake in about 5 hours, you shall see.
  7. Also, I checked your activity, and you're like only on when the United States is asleep, which is reasonable if you're on a timezone similar to mine. But yeah, the Shard is far more noisy when the US is up. So I'm not going to ask you anymore questions, and just wait for everyone else. They should be here in roughly 5 or so hours.

  11. Wayne's bubbles were roughly 2 mins compressed into 15 sec, if I remember correctly. So if cadmium is the exact opposite, with a constant supply of cadmium, a pulser with a lifespan of 80 years could live for 640 years. However, I don't think it's that extreme.
  12. I think Feruchemy has some built-in limits, otherwise you wouldn't have the strength to walk for pewter, the neuron activity to breathe for zinc, you'd freeze with brass, etc.
  13. It... would not kill them. Feruchemy makes you able to deal with it. That's why everyone didn't die in BoM on the airship.
  14. Yeah a star would be quite ambiguous. If you had positive charge in both the very top and very left Intents, then it'll look like the top-left Intent. So 16D monstrosities are unavoidable
  15. If a Feruchemist was... I don't know, somewhere without air resistance and had maybe quintillions of lifetimes of unkeyed metalminds. They could bring a space suit, as it wouldl be affected by time dilation too. Not for 5 years, of course, but yeah.
  16. But how would you fit those 16 axes? If you had 1/2 Ruin, 1 Cultivation and -0.3 Ambition, it wouldn't be clear what the values are. Anyways you can just say it like (0.5,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,0,0,-0.3,0,0,0,0)
  17. I wish we knew what God metals looked like in the molecular, atomic and nuclear scales. I wonder if we could get god metals combined with other, non-metals. Maybe Lerasium Oxide? Raysium di-chloride? The force required to split harmonium was massive. But, we don't know if it's breaking metallic bonds between atoms level or if it's separating an atom's nucleons level. Harmonium, when molten, does begin to differentiate though. I wonder if Intent should be treated like electrical charge and that liquid Harmonium is 'magnetic'. That would explain a lot, except that when you can have 16 possible Intents, it's not just positive or negative. Standard electrical charge can be shown on a number line, but Intent requires a 16-dimensional hypercube.
  18. ... Did you miss them calling Talenel by Taln? If I remember correctly, we're getting Taln flachbacks eventually, so I think he will have some kind of weakness (maybe a Torment) that will be explored then. We didn't see him destroy the Fused with his bare hands, but... Yeah. I agree. If not a Dawnshard, maybe something else. No ordinary human could have this level of power.
  19. Yeah he didn't last. He was... being quite dishonourable. In the true sense of the word. But I also helped him with a test, after saying the Truthwatcher 3rd Ideal. I will share truth even with those who do not deserve it. ... I was expecting to say my Lightweaver Truth first, but Truths are hard. Honestly though, I feel like 99% of people would benefit from saying at least one Truth.
  20. I don't think Reason will see the one future, because the knowledge of something might prompt him to emerge, which would alter the future. Also, Shardic vision can only see possibilities (like Sazed explained in TLM) even when other beings with Fortune are involved. Also, Defiant spoilers
  21. I might've missed it, but I don't think @SpartanBrigade and @ChickenBonanza gave pronouns. @al_lan_mandragoran, I need your character's personality. RP is going to in ~24 hours hopefully. Phase 1 (yeah, there'll be phases) will be just Shard allocation and any dialogue between the 16 and @.....'s immediate reaction to the death of Adonalsium as he is travelling Shadesmar. For Phase 2, star map must be at least mostly done. This is the first year maybe?
