  1. Odium mentions at one point (I don't have the book with me now) that he had secretly corrupted or in general done a coup of the Shin government during the final ten days, effectively bringing it under his control. Nothing? The Fused are mentioned in multiple of the post-contest chapters as basically becoming the new political elite of Roshar, but other than that it doesn't appear that anything's changed.
  2. Here ya go: Copy of The Longest Thread (Misadventures) plot and character tracker - Google Docs
  3. I turn off the cloaking on my own secret castle and it appears directly where the ground that your secret castle was sitting on used to be. I then go up through the skylight into your castle and whack you with a spoontula.
  4. Activation? of what?
  5. I honestly would have liked it if Shallan was trapped and then it didn't give us the scene of her finding the Seon to make it seem more complete. I thought that the separation and sort of utter defeat contrasted with how Taravangian also feels defeated is what made the ending great, and would have liked to see it be even darker. For your questions: Odium said that he had sent agents to corrupt and topple the Shin government while Ishar was distracted. I have no idea. Maybe she'll turn traitor on the Heralds? That would be interesting. Hoid says that Design is stuck on Roshar. She should be protected by measures that he took, but he won't be able to see her or summon her as a Blade. The Sibling, seeing how Retribution was going to try to destroy them as he destroyed the Stormfather, activated the same defensive measures that they had been using after the Recreance and a side effect of that was Navani entering a coma. Feel free to speculate Dalinar is dead. When he was in the Spiritual Realm, Odium placed him in a vision of him burning Rathalas. Dalinar met up with who he was before, the Blackthorn, and used a Bondsmithing to share with it all his memories since the burning of the Rift to try to get it to understand why it was wrong. The Blackthorn is a legend, having outgrown Dalinar, the man himself. As such, it persists in the SR with its own spiritweb (sorta). Retribution won Dalinar's allegiance per terms of the contract, and was able to find the Blackthorn spren that Dalinar had accidentally created and basically make it into a sort of Fused. Soul is tricky word. His Cognitive Aspect stretched into the Beyond, voluntarily so by Dalinar, and despite Retribution having Dalinar's allegiance, he was claimed by a mysterious third party which prevented Retribution from being able to control the Cognitive Shadow. His Spiritual Aspect persists, as all Spiritual Aspects do after death. It is safe to assume that Lift is still in Urithiru until we learn otherwise.
  6. I would generally agree with that statement.
  7. Oop looks like some important things happened while I was gone. uh.. Relatively confident that this was the last thing you did Taeidin sat up, somewhat disoriented. He thought that he knew what he was seeing, but at the same time it wasn't behaving as he would expect it to. The result was dizzying, the area warping around him in strange ways. This was unintentional, he knew, but was bound to have happened eventually without clarification or him figuring this out. He waited a moment for the sensation to subside, and then, thinking, he decided to wait a bit longer, realising that if he did so it was likely that he would not encounter this issue again. - Erdikan stumbled slightly, watching as the last few minutes of the party passed in an instant for him. He leaned against a sofa, taking a moment let it all catch up to him. How had- no, he knew how this had happened. He had been frozen, or slowed, as others continued to do things. This whole venture was a bad idea from the start, but this proved it. Nothing could be accomplished here. Erdikan moved to leave, disappear into blissful obscurity again, but... He looked up, processing for the first time what was going on around him. A confrontation, that's what he was seeing. Unlike most of the rest of the Thread, if he went away now, they would be left with no way to tell what would occur at the rest of the party. And what was about to happen would be vitally important information to know. He glanced around, weighing the options, knowing it was worth the risk. And so Erdikan pulled up his hood, taking a seat. He glanced over at the uncertain fuzz that used to be Sequence. What was it that she had said? Ah- "I think I'll grace you a little while longer." @Sequence
  8. Ight I'll probably get around to it Sunday I'm busy doing a decryption now and imma be gone all weekend. Just create a character, literally anything, and pop them in somewhere, or have them appear and people are bound to interact with them.
  9. Am I correct that this is a cypher or am I wasting my time?
  10. Justifying every villain out there: they're just a complicated individual Also I think all my plots dropped off Where were we?
  11. When your friend sees you on your phone and automatically assumes that you are doing Cosmere-related physics. And turns out to be right. When you're playing D&D and someone says CR and it takes you 5 seconds to realise they mean Challenge Rating and not Cognitive Realm.
  12. I wish I could go. Hopefully next year I will be able to.
  13. Bartholomew cuts off your hands and runs off with them still holding the sandwich.
  14. Rude. I stick my tongue out and vaporize them back. I enlarge everything else by comparison so it appears again to be a normal sandwich.
  15. Directly into a giant brick wall standing right next to this hill in the middle of nowhere that emits weird em waves and demagnetizes you. I pick up the sandwich and walk a bit away, and then the brick wall promptly collapses on top of you.
  16. I zoop over, pick it up, and zoop off with it, completely ignoring the fact that it is 50 feet tall. But it was just a dream...
  17. It looks -correct- to me, but I'm not entirely certain what specific idea you are trying to get across here or if this is just a visual aide that you are using.
  18. Falsities. Don't listen to his lies.
  19. No the Cosmere memes thread is great. Even if I have wasted countless hours laughing uncontrollably from it. (The other people in the room probably think I'm insane)
  20. Bartholomew questions who gave you the authority to make those decisions.
  21. Happy birthday!

    1. Argenti
