Through The Living Ash replied to Kidpen's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Sure, but no. Pretty sure his name was Vahr. But nope. No. I can't remember him being arrested, but it mighta happened at some point. 5. This character has a low threshold for stupidity. -

The Battle for the Sandwich
Through The Living Ash replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Yes, it should Google AI overview is telling me that the sandwich would retain its original shape if one were to linearize time over the region, but due to time warping it would still undergo spaghettification and ultimately merge with the singularity.- 13683 replies

Why is it that, whenever I'm trying to open my garage door, I have to spam the enter button 4-5 times to make it work?

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
Through The Living Ash replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Taeidin looks around, uncertain. He checks a few of the drawers for false bottoms and the like. "Thank you," Erdikan said, nodding to Erryin. He affixed with an eerie gaze. "Unleashing the Witherlord would be a drastic mistake."- 111828 replies

Is this following me from another thread? I'm going to assume this self-applies.

Ah, but of course. We wouldn't want that. How silly of me to have forgotten so easily.

Or, you know, suggest that they dig themselves out with their hands.

Wind and Truth - Trailer Concept
Through The Living Ash replied to Hoid Slayer's topic in Stormlight Archive
Is anyone here on Reddit? You could directly contact Sanderson through there; it's my understanding that he checks it rather frequently. Not sure petitioning is gonna help it at all. -

Keepers of the Lost Cities
Through The Living Ash replied to Kansas Stormcursed's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
You just quoted literally the entire conversation. Which is which? I still can't tell. -
I haven't taken it; haven't had the time. Other scouts in my troop have though. I'm life (working on my eagle app now!) You?

I feel your pain. ... They clearly thought this through enough to reach a ludicrous conclusion like that and email you about it, but they don't understand that having two stomachs is different than having two mouths?

Yep! I'm pretty passionate about it.

The Battle for the Sandwich
Through The Living Ash replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Hence the "interesting mechanics" part. I bet an Elantrian could find some way to do it. Also wouldn't the sandwich continue past the event horizon to the center and just retain its original shape instead of joining the singularity?- 13683 replies

I only do that when I'm reading aloud. You staff NYLT? Neat! I'm good at accents. But sometimes that's a problem. When I'm reading a book or watching a tv show and a character speaks in an accent, I will get it in my head and start speaking in that accent. Even thinking in that accent. And if I don't catch myself doing this, I end up getting stuck in that accent. Stuck as in I can't speak in any other way without spending 5 minutes solely concentrating on speaking normal again. This isn't usually a problem, and most people who know me have gotten used to it, but it can be annoying sometimes. Like when I was with friends, and accidentally got stuck in a completely ridiculous accent, and none of them could understand me. Luckily, it's only happened a few times in school.

VIRTUAL (chaotic) SCRIMMAGE
Through The Living Ash replied to Vielence's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
My daily dose of insanity: Are they though? What if they're not? What if they never were, and we've been lied to this whole time? See, this is why I need to stop instinctively contradicting everything I hear. -

Wind and Truth - Trailer Concept
Through The Living Ash replied to Hoid Slayer's topic in Stormlight Archive
Doesn't hurt? Although it would be a little weird to preemptively plan a trailer for a 5th movie in a set when the 1st isn't out, but I guess it could be adapted to be a trailer for the book if it's not live action? -
VIRTUAL (chaotic) SCRIMMAGE

Shucks. It appears that my brilliant plans have been outthought, yet again.
