  1. Taeidin inspects the cloth, looking to see if it was maybe cut from a larger section and what fabric it was.
  2. He looks at it for a moment. It doesn't seem to be very useful, but perhaps he could find someone to run DNA testing on it when he gets back. He pockets the hair and continues searching.
  3. I scream and take a few steps back.
  4. I wildly poke at you, clearly frustrated.
  5. Taeidin looks it over. That doesn't tell him much, but he knows now he's on the right track. And better for it to have been successful than a failure. He opens the drawer right above this one, hoping to find much of the same sort of thing.
  6. I wave my swiss army polearm threateningly at you, now that I have eyes again.
  7. Some fish with legs appear and drag @Vyzkel off to the dungeon. I point at @Ink and Embers and clap my hands twice, at which point she is teleported to Canticle. Your blade disappears and your pewter runs out almost instantly. Bartholomew sidesteps your swing and Ooblecks you, then throws up a force field that encloses you in a very small area. Which swiftly becomes a vacuum inside, devoid of anything except you in it.
  8. Nope No, and when bonding an Aether/Aether spore it's a Luhel Bond. Closer. But no. Nope 1. This character is dead 2. This character is not hateful 3. This character is easily forgettable 4. This character has a Nahel Bond 5. This character often wears robes
  9. Very interesting approach; this was well done! Good work!
  10. Keeping the crystal, Taeidin opens a drawer adjacent to the previous. Also awesome pfp! Erdikan shivered, but otherwise did not react. He did not believe he was in any danger here, nor that he would be approached, but, Erdikan thought bitterly, he knew from experience how unpredictable some people could be. Nevertheless, he continued to sit there and observe. Events had been passing swiftly, and they must be ready for that to come.
  11. No And no 4. This character has a Nahel Bond
  12. @all Essentially what Ink said, Bartholomew is a giant fish with legs and aluminum scales that has access to many magical and technological powers including a mastery of Oobleck. He is also the commander of a vast legion of other fish with legs, although they are not magical. He generally works for me but can be persuaded to help others as well. Killing Bartholomew is not a good idea, just putting that out there. Everyone, who was still standing by the window of the castle having tripped Ace, does not appreciate that you crumbled the castle on them and so grabs you, puts you in a 20-mile-long slingshot, stretches it back reaaallllllly far, then waves goodbye as you are launched into celestial orbit. The floor opens up underneath of you and you fall through a trap door into a chute that leads directly into my castle, which is still underneath of the castle that Everyone is in. You land in a chamber and are immediately frozen into carbonite. I get out a chisel and break the sandwich free from the carbonite, leaving you still in there.
  13. Currently you're nowhere that anyone else is, in an unestablished place other than there being a river, so you can have it be literally anywhere you want. Curious, Taeidin removes the crystal from the drawer.
  14. Nay Nope Nope. Also probably should spoiler that. 3. This character is easily forgettable
  15. Jumping off of an olympic high dive head-first with one arm extended without first verifying that the pool was, in fact, filled with water, thus crashing into the concrete pool bottom while travelling at about 33 m/s and breaking said arm.
  16. I gotta admit I had no idea who that was until I looked them up just now. (nope!)
  17. *wobbles hand* probably slightly less dead than your average dead. No No 2. This character is not hateful
  18. Laying down in front of a steamroller as a form of protest until it rolls over your arm, thus breaking said arm.
