I catch up with you and nab the sandwich. When you protest, I put the sandwich in my bag and draw my two shardblades (one living {Noda the Mistspren} and one deadeyed {the Stormfather}) and intimidate you away. The pickle, however, has other ideas. Coming back from space, it uses its hypercompressed poison gas (that it was saving for later) to propel itself back to the sandwich at near-relativistic velocities. There is now a large crater. Me in my shardplate, protecting @Uninteligenius too, we survive, but the pickle has forcefully reunited with the sandwich and is carrying it off to the secret pickle lair.
