Most of the theorizing would take place in the Cosmere Discussion or Mistborn Discussion Boards. We could see harmonium transition, but it's not assured. Anti-investiture is something different, and I doubt the opposite tone would occur (afaik the opposite of atium would be anti-atium, not lerasium). Anti-investiture would manifest as anti-harmonium, not discordium. I doubt discordium would be inert, as the reactivity comes from the opposing intents—in fact, I believe it would be more reactive, possibly unusable.

True Chronological Order

See if you can use this to help. If I remember correctly, Hope of Elantris is in the middle of Elantris, so you could figure that out. Also, Kaise is in TLM, so Elantris probably isn't before TFE. It would be really cool if you did this paragraph by paragraph. It would also probably be a lot of work. -
I think the answer is yes. I don't think is theory is as crazy as you would think.

True Chronological Order
Qianweilian replied to KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
You forgot Kwann's inscription. It should be before Alendi's logbook. -
Only hard for those skaa Allomancers (who should be taken to the inquisitors anyway) who have no one to sell them pure metals. sniff Too bad, so sad. Brass is even better for this, never be overheated. Or Bendalloy (don't have to worry about getting fat).

We know that you can "store" Aons for later use, so maybe we could get Elantrian Shai to make some sort of immobilizing sheet of Aons, or possibly a stamp to replicate the same.

This is the answer, regardless if he would have known whether or not what would make it a better choice. You don't have to conquer the world necessarily, Rashek didn't. He took over Khlennium, which already controlled a large part of the world, and bribed a large portion of the rest. If fact, he impersonated Alendi to do so. I agree with @Trusk'our here, I think Rashek's plan was extremely shortsighted. First, I'm going to use some of the Well's power for myself. I make myself a mistborn, and instead of having to deal with atium compounding, I'll hope to use my power to make myself immortal directly, it seems like something Preservation could do, whether it involves making me a kandra fullborn or something closer to the agelessness of the Heralds. Hopefully the Deepness should vanish as the Well is used, otherwise I'll create some sort of grain that can survive without sunlight, though it of course probably have to grow a bit slower to avoid taking over other subterranean life. That's mostly just a precaution though. I wouldn't change the geography of Scadrial. I wouldn't create @Trusk'our's Feruchemy trap as such a change to Feruchemy, (which might not be possible as it's also connected with Ruin), would apply to myself as well. I don't want to create a weakness possibly exploitable with connection/hemalurgy shenanigans. I'd allow some of the people I know to become kandra, on the condition that I have control and they have secrecy. Kandra wouldn't be public knowledge, but instead my secret agents. I'd take over as ultra-dictator, using the lerasium as in the books, but I wouldn't try to eliminate religion/culture like the books. I'd make the full reality of Ruin and Preservation known, with the exception of some secrets like the kandra and the Well's location, having all important records transcribed in metal. I'd eventually create a parliament-esque system where I'd slowly give up power, but (like the uk) I'd still have lots of de jure power and try to maintain some real authority. After I'm confident it won't collapse, probably after a few centuries, I'd leave and set up a steward (like Gondor), while leaving some way to identify me. I'll try to get Elantrian powers, but mainly attempt to get allies, primarily Endowment, and to fight Autonomy. If that fails, I'll try and ally with Autonomy instead while trying to mitigate her influence. I'll try and get Nightblood to stop Retribution from rising without Harmony existing in Scadrial. If I get Nightblood, I'll attempt to kill Leras and Ati and give the shards to someone I find. Then, I'll fully retire and find something fun to do.

I don't think you killed it, so much as everyone got bored and tired. It was already slowing down somewhat, and people lost interest. While it was certainly a somewhat engaging discussion, the nine pages of back-and-forth were starting to exhausting. Also, most issues relevant to the discussion have been made, and a lot of the discourse was just reiterating and reframing the same talking points. I wouldn't take it too personally, it lasted pretty long as far as discussions go, at least it's not as long as the Scadrial vs Roshar thread post RoW.

I just remembered, if their strength comes from a specific power like pewter, than you could destroy it with an aluminum spike. It really depends on where exactly they get their titanic strength, but it's worth a shot.
-
But, there's one thing. If you don't get technologically advanced, then the Men of Red & Gold or Retribution's army could wipe Scadrial in the future, since you won't have the power of a shard at your disposal.
-
I agree, I don't think this is possible with any sort of fight unless we were to get stuff in the range of permanent elantrianness or fullborn powers, in which case it becomes, if not easy, simpler.

This is kinda related:
-
I mean, you could shoot it into Taldain and create "true preservation" twice... Although, I'm not sure how compatible this would be with Preservation's intent...
-
I mean, Shai turned herself into an Elantrian, something that would require her to have a completely different birthplace and parentage. Spiking out the Oathpact would probably be similar to spiking out connection to Honor, something much more "reasonable" to have done. I think it's plausible and would go the distance if combined with duralumin atium.
-
Is as stated in title. You find yourself as Rashek immediately before he draws from the Well of Ascension. Here's a rundown of the situation: What would you do in his situation? Would you do the following like Rashek: Create the world of ash? Suppress technology? Conquer the world? Create the kanda? Make yourself mistborn? Biologically separate nobles and skaa? or would you do something else? What would you do after taking the power? Ideally, you'd shoot to protect against Autonomy, defeat the Deepness, and fulfill the Terris prophecies (bonus points). It also be good if you kept your sanity/moral compass.
-
Shai might be able to make a stamp to make you a hemalurgy expert as well, and know where to place the Oathpact spike. It would probably only last a couple of seconds, but that would be long enough.
-
Honestly, no one. While they might try, there's nothing to torture and Retribution is in hiding.

According to WoB, "immortality" can mean different things in the Cosmere. Brandon places Heralds into "reborn when killed" category. @Frustration, what I suspect the separate immortality from the Oathpact is is this: With a weakened Oathpact, Jezrien perished quite fast after being sucked out of his body with Raysium, showing that this other immortality, which appears to be merely freedom from aging, isn't much of an obstacle when it comes to murder. Without connection to the Oathpact, (you might have to spike regular connection to Honor too), our hypothetical herald should perish. Now let's talk about logistics. Obviously we're not beating any of the Heralds in a fight, so we must surprise them. With the new Oathpact, their minds are in the Spiritual Realm, but their bodies are in the Cognitive Realm. We know this because the Fused haven't been on Braize in the Physical Realm and they were still able to torture the Heralds. Afaik, the new Oathpact doesn't bind the Fused, meaning Braize is most likely unihabited. You might need Shai's Elantrian powers to get past the "storm," but that's doable. As the Herald's mind will be in the SR, hemalurgy will be easy. You might want to tie up the target however, as stealing connection to the Oathpact might rip them back. Then it's as simple as capturing them with a raysium dagger and letting the Herald rot. (Note: this might destroy the Oathpact, so I hope you're not particularly attached to spren) (Also, destroying the Oathpact might bring all the Heralds back very angry at you, so you should use Shai's Elantrian powers to get away from Braize really fast).
-
I don't think this is possible. The prompt says you only have access to the equipment the Ghostbloods can access in 6 months. They might not be able to get raysium and definitely are not getting anti-stormlight—something you need stormlight to manufacture (kinda hard to get rn). I agree with you, @alder24, that Hemalurgy is the best option. Get their trust and then spike out the oathpact connection (might be kinda hard to find out bindpoint, hopefully Shai can help with that)

I mean, anti tank rounds aren't that complicated compared to regular guns. Ranette even made her "big gun" that would probably do the job if adapted. If our hazekiller squad knew what plate was (assuming yes, considering that they have blackbane), then they could easily make something to kill a radiant. Are these hazekillers "allowed" to use anti investiture? If yes, then this ceases to be an issue. In fact, it would make doug/blackbane rounds far more effective.
-
Yeah, sure. I wasn't trying to get an exact count so much as trying to show that you can pump a shardbearer full of lead.
-
We don't really need that long of a range. Scadrians only wear aluminum lined hats, not helmets, yet it covers their entire head. In the context of a bullet wound, mere inches would be more than enough to block healing of the blackbane gum. If the blackbane makes it into the blood, then aluminum likely does as well. It's certainly not an instant kill weapon, except by virtue of being a bullet, but getting pumped full of dozens of them could certainly kill a radiant.
-
Given this strategy comboed with preferably a squad of hazekillers armored with aluminum trained to work together, I think we can knock down the required # of hazekillers. For convenience, I'm going to call these doug rounds, as they allow even the average Doug to take down a Radiant. Also House Venture employed hazekillers and Douglas Venture exists. My analysis
