  1. Bummer. But tnx for the quote. But that gave me an idea: What about giving Misting Savants new names? My ideas: (Misting>Savant) Coinshot>Repulser Lurcher>Magnet Thug>Feral Tineye>Sensor Rioter>Rouser Soother>Queller Smoker>Muffler Seeker>Hunter Duralumin Gnat>Amplifier Aluminum Gnat>Purifier Nicroburst>Surger Leecher>Eraser Augur>Sage Oracle>Prophet Pulser>Decelerator Slider>Accelerator Seer>Ghost
  2. Where is the source that you must be a savant to purify yourself though? I take your word for it, but I'd still like to see the exact quote for myself.
  3. Do you have a source? And what do you mean by "price"? if you mean damage to your body, then I doubt it would do you any damage. There are far more useful metals that do no damage to you if you become a savant, such as copper and bronze. If you meant money, then of course spending all of your money on aluminum and becoming broke isn't a fair tradeoff, but it is if you do have the extra money.
  4. 1. Do we know that they don't know though? 2. Interesting hypothesis, although with no references at the moment. I'd like it to be true, though. If it is, I can think of no better name than Amplifier.
  5. Duralumin Gnat, sure. Burning the metal alone is useless. But we already know that burning aluminum isn't; it can cleanse your body of toxins, and I think it was hinted that it could also protect you from emotional Allomancy. As such, I suggest that aluminum Allomancers would no longer be gnats. I think Purifier would be a cool name, but that's up to you. Edit: See post 11.
  6. Force choke. Atium burner dies. The end.
  7. A pair of mistakes? What's wrong with the Lerasium description? We really don't know what it does Feruchemically.
  8. I'm sorry, but does my question have an answer? If so, what is it? If not, why isn't it added? I'd like to know what's wrong with it. After all, you're adding questions about pizzas.
  9. How is gold the same reason? The powers he have are well above gold feruchemy. Also, he's going to change whether he wants to or not. You can't hold a shard (or in this case, two) without having your personality changed. And I don't even know how we got into this argument. I was asking a general question about shardholders on whether they can have children or not. I didn't even mention Sazed. There are 14 more shards besides him.
  10. So Sazed, the most powerful being in all of the Cosmere, having near-omnipotent powers, can't un-eunuch himself? And also, my question wasn't about Sazed in particular.
  11. I mean actual children who were procreated by the Shards themselves. Kind of like in the Greek mythology.
  12. If during the time of the Final Empire a Feruchemist and an Allomancer got together, was there a chance for a Full Feruchemist which is also a Mistborn to naturally be born?
  13. 1. Can Shards have children? If so, what exactly would they be like? 2. Can Shards traverse the Cosmere?
  14. I'm pretty sure Zane only the kept the coin in his mouth so that he would have a surprise metal to take out and push. He didn't actually pushed it from within his mouth.
  15. Well, the wiki on iron says: The second rule is that metal that is at least partially inside a person's body cannot be affected by iron. This quote doesn't differentiate between metals in other people's bodies and your own. And if the wiki is incorrect, then it should be edited.
  16. Isn't the fact they're external proof enough? Not everything has to be spelled out. Is there a source stating you can't soothe/riot your own emotions? Because if there is, then the same principle can be applied to iron/steel.
  17. About this: Is it possible for an Allomancer to push or pull on metals inside his or her own body, even if other Allomancers can't? I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that you can't, as iron and steel are external metals. Just like you can't soothe/riot your own emotions, you can't manipulate metals in your body. --------------------- Also I don't understand this question: What are the percentages on the other seven Allomantic alloys? You mean their composition? Because I'm pretty sure wikipedia has the answer to this. These are, after all, real metals. None of the non god metals are made up.
  18. My take on Sherlock: [5P] Sherlock Holmes: A Coppercloud Archivist/Copper Compounder Twinborn- a Mnemonic. He's able to read every book and newspaper that could be relevent to investigative work and later recall every detail perfectly. Compounding Copper would make every memory extremely vivid, which would in turn make Sherlock a master deductionist. Also, the Allomantic side of Copper would make him immune to emotional Allomancy, rendering him manipulation-proof. [5P] Doctor John Watson: A Leecher Spinner/Chromium Compounder Twinborn- a Weaver. This is where it gets interesting. Being able to Leech Allomancers would help Watson protect Sherlock, but that's just a bonus; if Sherlock is poisoned, Watson would be able to purify his system by Leeching him. Of course, the real aid Watson will provide is by compounding luck, making finding leads and clues extremely easy. And the contra: [5P] Professor James Moriarty: An Oracle Pinnacle/Electrum Compounder Twinborn- an Erratic. I imagine being in a constant state of mania and having inhumane determination would make Moriarty be just like the one in the series Sherlock. A bit unstable, a tad mad, but always clear on his goals. [5P] Bodyguard: A Pewterarm Brute/Pewter Compounder Twinborn- a Juggernaut. Not much to say here, except that compounding Pewter would make one basically a Hulk.
  19. I think the process won't be any more effective than working out without pewter. Adding to what king of nowhere said, your muscles indeed do part of the work but most of it is done by the pewter. So for example, lifting a 50kg weight while burning pewter will build your muscles in the same rate at wich lifting a 10kg weight without pewter would.
  20. We know that making Mistborns is only a side effect of lerasium. I have a theory of what the main effect is: If lerasium is basically the liquid from the WoA in a congealed form, wouldn't it make sense that if you melt a lerasium bead and say dip your finger in it then you would have the power of ascension, albeit for a very short time?
  21. And you know for a fact that there weren't any half skaa in Elend's army? seems like a stretch.
