  1. What does it stand for?
  2. I actually thought Nightweilder had skin cancer.
  3. Oh, come on now. Think about it: Someone is out to get you and your sneezing gives you away. Do you A. fear sneezing or B. fear that someone? Sneezing would make sense as fear in the middle ages, whereas if you sneezed there was a good chance you were going to die. But in the present?!
  4. Alright, but why would Loophole be aftraid of sneezing of all things?!
  5. Moniker: Serendipity Primary Power: Extreme Luck. This is a Prime Invincibility, because people shooting at me will always miss, or I will just happen to bend or lean out of the bullets' path, and if someone puts a gun to my head and fires the gun will jam. Explosives that could kill ne would malfunction. 0.000001% of surviving a poison? well now it's 100%. As for hand to hand combat or knives, swords, etc. I will dodge them without even meaning to or my attacker will stumble and fall somehow. Secondary Power: Complete immunity to the powers of other Epics. Weakness: Sleeping. I hate sleeping, so while I'm asleep none of my powers work. That means I'll have to find a damned good hiding place every time I go to sleep. Then again, since I'm so lucky that may not be so hard.
  6. Also, what if you were a parent whose greatest fear was your children dying, and then you became an Epic and killed your children in your Rending. 1. Does that mean you faced your fears and somehow banished the darkness? that doesn't sound right. 2. What is your weakness now? your children are already dead.
  7. You know, the thing most people fear. Not death by a specific means (poison, fire, water, etc.) but just plain dying no matter how. What would your weakness be? If you don't have a prime invincibility, then that basically means you have no weakness (because a bullet to the head kills pretty all Epics without a prime invincibility, and they have a weakess other than dying). And if you do have a prime invincibility, then doesn't that that mean, again, that you have no weakness at all? I don't think killing someone else in front of you would do the trick, especially if it's only your life you care about. Did Calamity simply chose not to made Epics out of such people?
  8. Makes sense, I guess.
  9. Well we've never heard of a feruchemical savant before so...
  10. You mean to say that some of his nerves didn't heal? seems odd when everything else did.
  11. You know, I'm not sure. Even when Miles was shot during his excecution, he didn't seem to feel any pain even though his gold reserves were getting very low and his wounds healed more slowly. And even when his reserves were completely tapped out, it wasn't noted that he felt any pain whatsoever.
  12. It's possible that Miles remembers pain when he was kid, before he Snapped.
  13. That's just compounding, not a perk.
  14. Tin savants also stop feeling pain when they stop burning tin.
  15. Or maybe it's his perk? again, why so quick to rule that out?
  16. Again, that's not how pain works in our world. There are people who have migraines for years and the 1000th migraine is that as painful as the first one. And we've no indication that pain works differently on Scardial.
  17. Why are we so quick to rule out that it's a perk? the section about perks was added to the ars arcanum of the book for a reason.
  18. I know in the Alloy of Law they say that because Miles was injured so many times he stopped feeling pain, but that's not really how pain works. So what if that ability was the perk he got from his Twinborn combination?
  19. According to WoB, anything hit by Nightblood's blade is erased from all three realms (Spiritual, Cognitive and Physical). This is more powerful than Shardblades and Honorblades which are actually remnants of an actual Shard (Honor). Why is something man-made (or Returned-made, whatever) more powerful than something Shard-made? Yes, Nightblood is Invested with Breath which is from Endowmend, but it's still just a constructed artifact. What am I missing here?
  20. One more question: Why didn't Hoid use an alias in Warbreaker?
  21. Could a Shardblade even clash with Nightblood? Wouldn't the Shardblade be instantly vaporized from existence?
  22. I always read Ashe in C3PO's voice. And Wax in Jared Padalecki's voice and Miles in Jensen Ackles's voice (Sam and Dean from Supernatural, respectively. I also imagined them looking like these actors). And my favorite: Nightblood in Wheatley's voice (from Portal 2). Seriously, if you've played Portal 2 I can't recommend it enough that you also voice Nightblood this way. Or maybe it's just me. What about you? Edit: Oh, and almost forgot- even though Prof is white, I couldn't help myself making him look and sound exactly like Morgan Freeman.
  23. But according to Austrism, Austre is the one that sends the Returned back. Why do the Idrians believe he does so if the only point is for them to die in a week? what sort of purpose it that? how does this bode with their religion?
  24. This just occured to me during my second read through: If the Idrian Returned are going to die within a week anyway, why not help someone with a miracle?
