  1. Very well then. Again, I misunderstood the very nature of the Alleys. However, I will not encumber you further with my incessant requests. I can modulate the backstory anyway, and plan to do so when I implement my character into the current era at the time of my return so he may fit more easily into the present storyline. Thank you for your assistance!
  2. Submission for character review.
  3. All right. I changed something major. I wanted him to be an Elantrian because I think Elantrian magic make the best wizardry. However, I like this better; I am willing to assume there are few characters that are simple humans, and this sets his feats apart. Hopefully this is the last revision. As I stated earlier, I will be holding Archibald in reserve for a later date. I am perfectly willing to change him to mold him into whatever story is current at the date of my return. All I need is your final confirmation. I had completely forgotten about this, though it explains how Moonlight did what she did. Thank you for the reminder! (Hey, 100th comment!)
  4. I see. I will think more. I have read TLM and am up to date on all Cosmere (except for Stormlight 5 releases, please don't spoil) and I definitely forgot about purified Dor. I really do want to keep the staff. Actually, now that I think about it, I have a really good idea. I will need time.
  5. Ah, obviously I misunderstood the nature of the Alleys. Forgive me. How about I modulate it? He does dislike combat, but I do want him to start to overcome this and use his abilities as part of his character arc. However, I do not wish to have an overpowered character. How about I change that as well? There. I have made the changes. His staff now has a limit to the amount of Dor it can use at a moment, meaning he can only make a certain amount of Aons before it is drained. Also, if he devotes more power to the Aon, it can drain his staff faster. As for the other changes, I hope you enjoy.
  6. Awesome. Here it is. I'm open to all feedback.
  7. Hello, I would like to join the Alleyverse. I have created a character, but I do not know where to submit it for review. In addition, I don't wish to play in the current era, but I simply wish to have a character to return to when I return from my hiatus. Can anyone help me?

Can anyone help me? @Koloss17 I figured I should probably ask you directly, as you are a mod on the Alleyverse.
  9. In all honesty, I prefer Mars, the Bringer of War. However, I do agree that for the context of the episode and its dreamlike quality, the far more famous chorale from Jupiter is a good choice. I simply wish they had added more of the rest of the song, which is equal in splendor. However, I do understand why they did not, as the chorale is practically an independent song at this point. The episode Ice Cream features Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers, who in all honesty I prefer to Holst, but please, do not mistake preference for disdain. As with all of the greats of the classical period, Holst has a definite and superb place at the head of all music, hand in hand with Tchaikovsky. I wonder how the plot of an episode that would feature the 1812 Overture would go.
  10. I can't share my password with you. That's a secret! But as we are so frequently reminded, there's always another one. I'd have to go with "The Universe is Singing to me!"
  11. Happy birthday, elder counterpart of the Shard!

  12. Many thanks! Your support only continues to embolden me!
  13. Just a humble Phonomancer. I'm a Combat Trombonist. Chronomancy is a good pick!
  14. Fukuoka Japan! I am extraordinarily blessed! I appreciate that! Having read dozens of your additions to this website, know I feel much the same towards you. Never read Downton Abbey, though. Sorry. I'm more of a Jane Austen fan.

  16. I choose Copper. I can see the merit of remembering things, but how would you even compound it? Would you learn new things? I don't see how that would be possible. @JustQuestin2004Has a good point as well, though.
  17. I offer my grandest welcome. Tell me, 'twere you a mage, what would your chosen element be?
  18. Welcome. Tell me, 'twere you a mage, what would be your chosen element?
  19. Welcome! Tell me, 'twere you a mage, what would be you chosen element? Please note you are not limited to the Four Elements; there are many more. Be creative! Unless you truly like one of the Four Elements and then you're good.
  20. Brandon is Life. I am a stick. Bridge Four. The mantras of a Sanderfan. Tell me, 'twere you a mage, what would be your chosen element?
  21. I belive we continue to gloss over the obvious effects of a Fullborn. We've only seen one; he lived for a thousand years and was unkillable by everyone except for one drawing on an entire Shard's power. There are no more Fullborns, but if they made one Band of Mourning, they can make more. (Especially if Harmony is heading towards Discord and going to allow all sorts of wacky things to happen.) I'm sorry, but with as powerful as Fullborns are from their infinite compounding, I doubt anything short of a Harmonium-Trellium Reduction Reaction will kill them. It is entirely feasible in my mind that as long as there are enough Bands of Mourning, the Scadrians could take even Urithiru. The Scadrians have the advantage in technology, numbers, (There are dozens of Mistings for each Knight Radiant, although who knows how this will change in the future. Everyone knows Shardbearers can't hold ground) and Sazed. Sazed and his two Shards could be their biggest advantage. We just don't know how Discord is going to work. Just my take. Nothing more.
