    This was Chanandler's first meal in two weeks (his curse made it hard to consistently catch food), so he was overjoyed, and very grateful for Miracle's help. Miracle, on the other hand, had just witnessed a strange man devour a pineapplewatermelon as it screamed for mercy, and so was rather disturbed when Chanandler proceeded to swear his undying fealty to her.

See, Chanandler Bong had a peculiar curse that caused food in his immediate vicinity to become animate, and, even with his mighty lassoing skills, those celery sticks ran too fast for him to catch. He would have to try stealing some of those watermelons; they looked like they might be slower, and Chanandler was very hungry.
