  1. According to Brandon on Twitter, it's going to involve New York, and the Epic who rules there, a woman named Regalia.
  2. I'd like to mention that, to the best of my knowledge, Brandon's never mentioned any sort of filler books between the second and third trilogies.
  3. That is a fascinating idea... This isn't the place for it, but it makes me wonder if Elantrians, Awakeners, or people holding Stormlight would be able to be Soothed or Rioted.
  4. I figured that science types probably had some fancy name for it, full of numbers and whatnot, similar to how we catalog stars or planets. I can't imagine people would have been too interested in it, most of the astronomy stories that get much attention are either asteroid-impact scares or talk of alien life. It does hinge on where Calamity is located though. David mentioned that it's always in the same spot in the sky, which implies geosynchronous orbit. If something was orbiting the Earth like that, and it wasn't some top-secret government thing, then the public would likely care and probably would have come up with a name for it.
  5. Well, there's a difference between actually becoming a Shard and simply holding it for a bit, which creates a Sliver. Although I guess if you could somehow separate someone from their Shard they would be a Sliver.
  6. I think you're probably along the right track. I think that this interview would interest you.
  7. If this was a failure, it was the most awesome failure I've seen in a long time. Thanks for the great info!
  8. You know that the wiki is all volunteer based, right? We're all busy people with lives. The wiki is a massive project, there is an incredible amount of work to be done. If you want it on the wiki, the easiest way to make sure it happens quickly is to do it yourself. Sure, we'll probably get around to it, but it's a lot easier when people just fix the problems they see themselves, and then we just check when we're patrolling the recent edits.
  9. Oh, of course! My bad, I was thinking of the lesser Epic.
  10. Are they "always on" though? If Fortuity never used a handgun, or if Steelheart was never shot at, would their powers necessarily need to be active?
  11. We don't know the name. They're believed to be what allow the chasmfiend to grow to such enormous sizes. Welcome to 17th Shard!
  12. That seems like it's not worth the time or effort. I don't even know if it's possible. I sure as heck wouldn't want to be the guy who has to track down spammers, some of which seem to originate in Japan or China, and try to make them pay some fine.
  13. I am so jealous that you know how to write in glyphs. That would be so cool.
  14. Not really a problem, considering the spam filter autobans most of them. It expired once, not too long ago when we weren't paying attention and then it was really bad. We almost had to lock the Rithmatist board. The accounts themselves aren't a problem as most have been disabled.
  15. The Cognitive Realm around Sel is messed up mostly due to the Splintered Shards and unbound power there, from what we understand, so that shouldn't apply to worlds without Shards.
  16. Based on what we understand about Worldhopping, that doesn't seem to make sense. Those planets would have people with thoughts and the like and take up Cognitive space in Shadesmar, so I don't understand why you would need a spaceship to get there.
  17. I just wanted to let you know that your updated table isn't showing up, which hampers people being able to clearly see what you're changing.
  18. Nah you're good. That's what we usually do.
  19. Sell. I can't imagine how that would plausibly work out. The men of "gold and red," mentioned by Miles, are from Southern Scadrial.
  20. No rules against it, and we actually have a specific sub-board for it. Here you are.
  21. I'm pretty sure we have both of those at this point. Maybe he read more? I haven't listened to the audio.
  22. I must have misinterpreted what you were trying to say. What did you mean by this?
  23. By the way guys, please do not post topics about the content you find in the Steelhunt if you are lucky enough to get an access code. The staff hasn't really decided how we're going to go about dealing with the Steelhunt content yet, but for now, please don't discuss it, or keep it to personal messages. We will let you know as soon as we've decided on a plan. Thanks!
  24. Do we know for sure that Heleran was even a Ghostblood? He sure didn't seem to like his father, so I don't see why he would want to be a part of that group. Amaram assumes he's one of them, but he didn't provide any evidence.
  25. It's not one code, one thing unlocked for one person. It's more along the lines of many codes together can unlock new content that is available to anyone who has one of the codes.
