    finals update

    chemistry: 88%

    world history: 100%

    choir: pending

    honors english: 96%

    honors algebra 3: 93.5%

    spanish: 116% (there wasn’t supposed to be extra credit but uh… basically the test was scaled and i was so far above the class average that my teacher just gave me extra credit to spare my classmates—)

    i ended all of my classes with As except for math, which was .5% away from one 🥲

    oh well

    cant keep a 4.0 GPA forever can ya

    also my guy friend tried to copy one of my drawings i did in front of him today (he was very very focused watching—and then he told me i was basically Shallan—), and it was so funny xD

      lots and lots and lots of practice

      i’ve been drawing since i was like three, and when a lot of kids stopped, i kinda just didn’t? so i had all those extra years to practice :) plus i was homeschooled for 5 years, which gave me SOOOOO much extra time to do things like drawing

    ok so i have this cool plan for my writer friend for christmas because she always sends me these elaborate, beautiful gifts in the mail (she lives down south and i’m not down south) on christmas AND my birthday

    and i wanna like actually return the favor this time

    so i’ve decided to draw her characters and a few things from her book series and turn them into

    which means i have to draw all of them. she has like 7 main characters and then there are several symbols i wanna include, so it’s def gonna be a project.

    scud that sounds so stressful, i’m so sorry! family issues are the worst kind. i kinda have some experience with the church thing? like we used to be LDS (our family has been for generations), but we left a couple of years ago several reasons. my grandparents on my dad’s side are very conservative and have very… uh…… black-and-white worldviews, i guess. ever since they found out we’d left, things have been different. not necessarily hostile, at least not openly, but there have been instances where they’ve asked uncomfortable questions or said passive aggressive things to us, usually when our parents aren’t around, and i’ve really grown apart from them in the last couple of years that we pulled away. i’ve rlly only seen them once since that happened, but it was still so… off. religion can cause so many problems within families, which totally sucks. i’m so sorry you’re going through this, and if you ever need anything a stranger on the internet can help with, let me know. you got this!

      my little brother has an oculus, and he just recently bought the game (since he finally got enough money lol); i've played it before with friends on their headsets, but he lets me play sometimes, and i just beat a really difficult level first try this morning :3 i feel very accomplished and tbh idek how i managed to do it but--
