    I think it says a lot about the amazing people of the Shard that this was suggested, and not a single person said anything along the lines of "this is dumb. why would you do something like this". Instead, we now have chaos and we love it. You're all great people.

    Yeah, like I said, chaotic. It should go back to normal soon. Well, normal for the Shard. All I'm going to say is that it could have been worse; you could have joined during ookla season.

    Why do all the best things have to end? Why do friend groups have to change, why do the things we love have to stop, why do people have to be so mean? Isn't it crazy how someone can take such a huge part of your life, and then make it stop? It's like they're taking a chunk of your heart, but there's nothing you can do. 

    Ah well. We deal with it. We live, and keep living. It isn't like life ends, and there is still joy, even if we have to work harder to find it. The best stories involve pain. The truest growth comes through work and pain. And at least we can remember the good times.

    Sorry, I'm just overthinking life right now. I'm going to miss drama.

      Yeah I can feel that, as a guy who consistently spent time in different classes than his friends…. And then became homeschooled after that fell through… change can suck sometimes. Change can also be good! At least for me, homeschooling allowed me to pursue what I wanted to study and laid the groundwork for college in terms of learning how to plan ahead and time management skills, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 
       

      It might feel crappy for a time, but you’ll find your place in whatever new situation comes your way.

    Yes. It's kind of strange; I'd die for some of my friends, but I wouldn't give up reading for any of them. What that says about my mental health, I don't know. TPBM has always secretly wanted to eat a lightbulb.

NO MY HIGHLIGHTER IS MY HIGHLIGHTER, LET IT BE YOU STORMING BETA FISH The purple one? Nightvale. I need to find a better one to put there from it. It's overplayed, but I'm a theatre kid, meaning I can rap the entire thing, including guns and ships.

    Shai: The one who gets all A's without even trying but doesn't tell anyone. She leads those who eat lunch under the stairs and are probably drug dealers, and if anyone needs something that may or may not be legal, from cheating on tests to...i dunno...hiding a body...well. She's the one they come to, and she will do it, no questions asked, but the teachers can't prove anything.
