    Ok ok so last night

    AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

    To those of you who don’t know, my story was chosen to be featured in this years teen anthology (through teen author boot camp and owl hollow press). So last night I got to go to a release party and gala for that. I met all the other authors, which was super cool.

    BUT the person who wrote the foreword for it is none other than Christopher Paolini. 

    So I got to meet him.

    And he signed the book.

    And then we had a very long conversation about books and beautiful prose and he gives Dune 10/10 and then gave me book recommendations 

    And anyway

    AAAAAAHHHHHHHH that was so cool :D

      Well it’s an anthology, so it’s a lot of short stories by different teenagers. Mine isn’t that long but it’s in there :P

      Okay, so the books on writing are Style by F. L. Lucas, Shakespeare's Metrical Art by George T. Wright, and Story by Robert McKee. 

      And then some of the others were The Worm Ouroboros by E. R. Edison, The Mabinogian Tetrology by Evangeline something or the other, and The Gormenghast Trilogy by Peake.

      i might keep an eye out for them!

I’ve been working a lot on trying to get the emotions I put in to come back out, so…I’m glad it’s working! Oh my chasms thank you so much, this means so much because I absolutely LOVE your words, which will always be significant I promise.

    She steps back, abruptly beginning to bustle about with food. It’s as if Kaza has given her a cue. “Your father will be home soon.”

    She presses the cup to his lips. It’s icy cold, but doesn’t pass through him. She cocks her head. “It’ll-it’ll-it’ll make you-make you-make you feel-feel better. Better.”
