    As the adventurer hurried out, Hacob made a silly face at him. For funsies. Who knew what kind of stories that would spread! "The invitations to the party?" Hacob paused, thinking about it. "Ya know, that's actually a good idea. And no, there really wasn't much I was wondering. Just bored at the party. Too much stuff happening."

    Hacob walked in, and conjured a seat to sit in. Sitting down, he shrugged. "No. It'll be a while. There's dancing, and all sorts of shenanigans happening. I'm not much of a party person, and I got bored. Have you almost gathered enough evidence to proceed with the trial? Personally, I'd like to proceed past the party." He laughed, then continued. "Sequence would probably get mad if I stayed any longer. I'd be sure to mess something that she likes up."

    Hacob laughed. The new Narrators always took everything too seriously. Eh. They'll figure more out about me later. Once that dang trial happens and the Plotblades get revealed. Speaking of which... Hacob teleported away. The Brave Adventurer, wherever he was, heard a knock, followed by Hacob's voice. "Can I come in?"

    "All I'm saying is that I'm being normal. Well, as normal as I can be. There's more than one way to be chaotic, but my way is the best." "Eh. Doubt it."

    Hacob made sure she could hear what he said. "We are literally Beings of Chaos. You're the one that's being weird."

    Hacob thought that was a particularly silly thing to think. Narrators were remarkably irresponsible, besides Tam and Lady Bug apparently

    "Makes sense." Platypus laughed. Once Unintelligible was out of sight and earshot, Platypus duplicated himself and traveled with Love Triangles back to his base, coming to his shelves. On the shelf below the one that would hold Vengenace, his Luxblade, the Once-Author's computer, and Clemency when they were not in use, he set the chest. Then he pocketed the key and returned to the party, unduplicating as he did so. He would deal with that later, once things had calmed down.

    "Just let me know if you see anything off with Platypus. Mark my words, something's wrong." He waved. "By all means, have fun. As long as I don't have to get involved." He smiled and walked off, tailing Platypus carefully.

    "I suppose I'll just have some water. Something is up with Platypus, and I can't afford to have my soberness reduced at all." "I don't think there's anything going on with me. And if you're not using it, I could find a use for it. In fact... Yes, it could be quite useful. If you're offering, I'd be pleased to take it. Heck, I'd take Filler too if you found it and don't want it." Hacob heard this and quietly laughed cynically. Nope. Very few of us even started with one, he thought to himself. finding Slepnir would be fine (at least, IMO).

    Oh, I'm sure you will. "I'm not really a party person. Haven't really interacted with anyone, and I don't really need to. Just keeping an eye on Platypus. Something is going on." Alright then. Have fun with Nogard. He ended the connection and laughed to himself. "I mean, I was, but it also applies to other things." Platypus looked Unintelligible up and down. "Are you sure? You both mentioned something kinda similar, and I don't think anything is happening to me." yep

    I mean, why did you want to know? Just cause you thought we made it up? "What? A dark air? Unintelligible, do you need sleep?" Platypus groaned. "Are you and Subsy in some plot to make me think I'm doing things I'm not doing?" He started pacing. "That's exactly the problem. If there were good choices it wouldn't matter as much, but right now the good choices are slim to none." usually from quests. Platypus got his from causing Plot's death, Nerdy kinda showed up with his, but most of the others were on quests. as for the lore, talk to Xino and maybe Zephrun. Also Nameless. If it's the more recent things, I could probably help, but the others are probably more reliable.

    he takes his hair off. you realize he's not a platypus, right? He is more human than platypus, but... nope, too much description. Even I don't know fully what he looks like, so it's a little tricky describing him.

    nope, just sharing stories. Why? "No, it's not for me. I can outfight them even if they aren't in a Love Triangle. And if it puts me in a Love Triangle, that would be awkward, and I have no idea who it would choose to be the two, but there are no good choices." Platypus blinked. "Say again?"

    Mine? I can weave Plot around me, giving plenty of powers, the foremost of which would be called plot armor. I can also make others more susceptible to attacks (the opposite of plot armor), strengthen myself, weaken others, and more. "I don't know... Love Triangles could be useful. How are they supposed to fight if they can't decide who to love? And if Filler made characters into filler characters, it would also be potentially useful." Platypus thought about the maybe (definitely not subtle) foreshadowing going on. ok, story time. last tuesday I was third wheeling a pair of my friends, and a friend of the girl and a friend of mine both showed up with us and it felt like I was third wheeling two couples at the same time. Platypus chose not to try to fight Sequence's Narration. Instead, he projected his thoughts straight to her. We'll see. Ya know, I don't particularly care if the Brave Adventurer shows up, or the General, or any of the people you would call my nemeses. Just something I do to fill time. And knowing that He can't show up makes me feel much better. I suppose I will talk to you later. Though it wouldn't be possible for Sequence to see, some of the more observant guests would notice that as he walked away, Platypus seemed to change. His countenance seemed darker, his mood (which normally seemed carefree) was less tolerant than normal, and his eyes lost their signature readiness, replaced by a challenge that was much more aggressive. Even his skin tone shifted, though perhaps it was a trick of the light as he stepped into shadows. Hacob, watching from where he had been sitting was a little concerned, but it was probably fine. oh thank heavens.
