  1. The Clinic: Lobby At Bookwyrm's gesture, Platypus prepares to join the fight. Still slightly confused by the fact that he is now feeling these emotions again after everything, it takes him a little bit to get ready. He summons his Blade and turns visible once more. After all, what's the fun in beating up a bunch of skeletons if they can't see you coming for them. Running past Bookwyrm into the fray, Platypus runs in, using his variation of Firestance, Ragestance. As he hasn't felt it in years, he is quite powerful and the skeletons fall before him as though he is Moses parting the red sea. "Bookwyrm! I get the feeling that something is happening and that you should meet up with Calano. I'm not sure how I know this, but i do. Follow me as I push through the crowd, Calano is this way. I've been tracing thoughts to locate everyone." Platypus yells to Bookwyrm. Then he keeps fighting, clearing a path that is filling in behind him. @The Bookwyrm
  2. The Clinic: Lobby "What is happening here? Why are we here again? And... Where is Wizard?!" As Platypus gets more and more filled with feelings of rage and helplessness, he feels the void feeling from earlier. What is happening to me? Then, it pops and he can feel the anger. At first he doesn't recognize it. Is this... anger? I haven't felt this in years. But it will serve him well in the coming fight. Tracing the mental message from Bookwyrm, Platypus follows it up with a simple, "You don't know me, but I'm here too. And I'm here to help."
  3. Platypus lets down his mental shield and allows No One to read his thoughts. I don't think it would be possible for anyone other than Plot himself to gain control over all the blades. I myself find it hard to control even just these two, though that might change, were I my alter ego (which is entirely based on vengeance) and not myself. And I could use it more effectively for sure. I tend to try not to use it to preserve myself. The more powerful the blade, the more it turns you to use it. I cannot become a youngling once more. I walked the path Vengeance wants me to take for too long to do so now. We need to keep in touch. I will begin to focus on mastering the blades and update you periodically. You need to make sure to give me updates if you discover anything new, or if you discover another Blade of Plot. I think the count is three four so far. The two I have, the one the being Rym is tracking has, and the one Subversion had/has. I know she appeared with one shortly after Valiant's death. Okay?
  4. Platypus drops the blade, and it fades away like his other version. Platypus gives him "The look."TM Platypus' look obviously means, "Well, I guess this is for the best. Now you're able to explain. Can you write while wielding it?" Luckily No One has spent a lot of time sending looks, and thus can interpret the look.
  5. Platypus proceeds to have a look conversation with No One because they need to be quiet. Platypus' look says, "I don't know if I should be trusted with another sword of Plot, but sure, I'll take it." Or it might have said, "I like cheese." Nobody besides No One and Platypus knew which, as they are experts at looks. Platypus extended his arm and takes hold of the sword, but it shocks him and he is forced to let go. He lets his current sword fade and then grabs the other sword. This time it allows him to take it. Platypus shoots a look that says, "Did you see that? I can't wield more than one at a time."
  6. "Ok, quiet. I can do quiet." Platypus whispers. "Do you know what the markings mean?"
  7. "Oh. Next time, maybe don't point it at my neck. Just a suggestion. Anyway... Wait, what?" Platypus does a double take. "Is that... another one?" Platypus summons his copy of the blade to compare it to.
  8. Suddenly, the sword disappears. "Look, I'd love to do this, but I don't have a lot of time and also, you're not allowed to read my thoughts." Platypus says as he puts up a barrier around his thoughts. "I forgot I had that down though, that could have been bad. Thank you for that at least."
  9. I'd love to see what that is. unfortunately, it's blocked. *cries a little inside* if I ever have time, I'd love to play with you. I'm not great, but I'm not that bad either. I have played stratego, I quite enjoy it.
  10. Can too. No. I'm getting money for it now. COMMERCE!!!! and YOINKING!!! 1511
  11. "Oooh. I love secret basements. Thank you." Platypus says, following. Inside, he's thinking, "I hope this isn't a trap."
  12. Island on a Distant World "Unfortunately I have to trust you at the moment. No other choice." Platypus says grimacing. "Now, I won't be offended if you say no, but... Would you kindly allow me to perceive if you have intentions for us that are bad for us? I will let you to do the same if it makes you feel better." Anyone looking can see Platypus suddenly lurch, about 15 seconds after Lark asks his question. "What...? What just happened to me? Lark? You're a psychiatrist, right? Can you tell me what just happened? I feel... wrong. My emotions... they're... gone? Or maybe suppressed? I can't think either. All I feel is. PAIN!" Platypus suddenly shouts, then doubles over once more. "And they're back. Lark... What is happening to me? I don't know what to do!" He says, starting to freak out. @UnfortunatelyNamed @The Bookwyrm
  13. I notice it trying to jump up, and pick it up. "Wanna have an alliance? We could have lunch with Nerdy." I whisper to it.
  14. Platypus gave him a look back that said, "Maybe, but I can Narrate you into giving me all your knowledge. Don't get too cocky yet bubs." Then he said, "Can you at least tell me how and why Plot's sword split and/or which is the original (if there is one).
  15. Some thought that it was because he was bad at it, but really, it was because he got an unpleasant tingling sensation in his toes for every syllable he said.
  16. "Oh, I definitely don't want to do it unless Rym fails. If he does, I'll go kill someone else, take his copy of the sword, and merge them back together. But I digress. Now I need to get No One to talk."
  17. What in the name of Mikkibunkins is that thing?!! That is obviously a candied asparagus spear.
  18. at least 5 17.379 dollar bills 1509
  19. I realize that I'm allergic to tacos and return to the spot where I left the sandwich. I see the shadows escaping with it, chase after them, catch them, and use a rope to tie them up as I take the sandwich.
  20. "I'd say "I see" again, but I really don't. It's fine though. Anyway, am I allowed to fight someone else at any point? You seem to be opinionated about him. We also ought to get No One to talk about what happened."
  21. Island on a Distant World Platypus steps out from where he was kneeling in the bush, still holding his sword, still intangible to everything except his sword and the ground, but visible now. "How do I know I can trust you?" He asks bluntly to the soldiers.
  22. "I see. Did you control him or was it more like you made it look like we were all saying Valiant when we said Subversion?"
  23. Platypus scowled. "And this is why I don't like you. Not a straight answer. He still could have punctured the illusion at some point instead of fighting us. Unless... Did you also affect what he saw and heard? I've forgotten at this point, that was a lot of pages ago."
  24. Island on a Distant World As Bookwyrm steps out, Platypus turns invisible and intangible, summons his sword (which is also invisible and intangible), and prepares to fight, just in case. As this happens, he is fighting internally. 'Let me have control. I have more experience with things like this. And it's easier for me to control this body.' 'No. I refuse to let you of all beings have control. I will fight this.' 'Look. We need to work together. I'll yield to you if we find ourselves in a situation that I need your expertise for. But right now, we need me in charge if we hope to survive this.' 'Fine. But I will hold you to this.' 'If we survive. That's still a big if.'
  25. "I suppose you can be fun. It's not common though. Out of curiosity, how did the illusion around Valiant actually work? I've been wondering, because your Narration should have been equal, shouldn't it? But it seemed like he couldn't escape it."
