Question for my fellow manga enthusiasts who are also readers (is that too niche for the Shard? We'll find out I suppose): Do you track manga volumes in the same place as the books you've read? Do you count manga volumes towards your total 'books read' number for the year?
I haven't been, because I feel like I get through them so quickly, and can read such a large number, that it'd through off any estimation of how many prose books I read. But I guess that's no different than just reading a bunch of short stories or novellas.
I don't know . . . my mom's 'comics aren't real reading' opinions have seeped into me even though I mostly disagree.
What do you guys do? (Whether you use an app or website to keep track of your reading, or you just do it in your head).
On this same note, maybe I should make a manga thread in the entertainment forum--we have an anime one, but it feels weird to talk about manga there because it's technically off-topic. (There may be an old thread for it, I just haven't really seen one that's still active).
