Me and my friend brought a toaster and waffle iron to school. At lunch we were able to hook them up to an electrical cord at the back of the cafeteria. Waffles and toast and everything.
That was fun

"I go for princess over there and then you throw your knife at Geff. Can ya get a good throw on his head or throat?" Miyako asked, voice cold. @Ookla the Crow

"It really was good toast", Quest agreed. Quest glanced around, looking at the doors that lined the halls. "So, umm, we should probably go into a room eventually. Unless of course, if you want to find what's at the end?" Miyako cursed quietly, pulling back from the crack. "Who should we take out first?" Miyako hissed to the others. "I'm thinking we can get Geff and the young one before anyone notices. Acyolte, ya got those knives, right?"

Miyako glanced back at the others before sliding up to the side of the crack. She held still just before the crack, and strained to hear what the voices were saying. Quest's eyes trailed Dansl to make sure she was gone. "Was that an obtuse metaphor or strained personification?" Quest mumbled to himself. Quest finished off the toast and whipped the crumbs off his face. He looked towards Kealie with goofy grin on his face. "That toast was definitely poisoned or, ummm, tampered with. And we both ate it. Ha!" Whistling, Quest began to stroll down the hallway.

*Long walking montage* (Unless someone wants to do something) Miyako poked her head out of the end of the tunnel, looking around at her surroundings.

Miyako looked over at the tunnel, that presumably lead to the castle. "Let's get going. Stop standing around, we've got stuff to do." With a smirk Miyako fell down into the tree, and onto the tunnel. @Ookla the Crow "We're, ah, just looking around this old house." Quest said, ripping off a piece of his toast. He waved it at Dansl, "Really, these are excellent."

Quest laughed awkwardly. "I think I may try some toast after all." Tentatively, he reached for the platter and took a slice. "You got it toasted just right." Quest said in between eating, a big smile on his face. "I always get it burnt."

Quest gave Dansl a curt smile and watched as Kealie ate the toast.

Miyako looked out across the stunning landscape, fuming at the her current circumstances. Miyako was perfectly fine doing dangerous stuff, but when it was on her terms. You can't just drop someone off at a maniacs stronghold! Even if Miyako had wanted to attack it earlier! No, focus. Ya got goals here. Go find Acolytes sister, deal with Geff and possibly kill people. Without turning into your Shadow. Miyako could work with a goal. Now determined, she spun around and addressed Yerik and Hyron. Her eyes drifted, noticing the large wrapped up bundle in Hyron hand, and her mouth curved into a grin. But, no. Time to focus. Even if the joke was hilarious. "Ya ready to go attack the Queen's castle?" Miyako said, cocky swagger back. @Ookla the Crow

Miyako jumped off the carriage and walked over to the castle walls. Over her shoulder she called back to Vicius, "Come back here, one hour. Or I'll come meet you with my sword."

*Gasp* Conflict! I am now hooked, and eagerly waiting to see how cute they will be together.

Miyako grumbled as she looked out at the castle. Eventually she dramatically sighed, "Fine. Take us down."

"Who said you were making this choice?" Miyako glared at him and turned to Yerik, casually flipping open her waterskin. "Acolyte, would the Queen have taken your sister here?" Quest's eyes bugged out when he saw Kealie go for the toast. Shooting frantic glances at her, he tried to think off an excuse. "I'm, um, am actually allergic to toast. And you know what those silver platters, ummm, can do to someone's stomach. Right?"

Quest nodded akwardly. "Oh. Um, cool. We were actually just going through this house, if, um, you could let us get back to that, that would be great." Quest leaned over and whispered back. "She definitely wants to kill us."

Quest raised an eyebrow. "Ah, um, yes. And who would you be?"

Miyako threw up her arms. "Why don't I just leave you at the castle and take the carriage?! Ya though of that?" Quest stumbled back. He quickly kindled up a flaming orb atop his staff, using it to push pass the dim lighting of the halls and see the speaker.

Quest nodded, still smiling from his trick. "Up ahead in the hallway, or in a separate room? And I'll just, um, walk behind you."

Quest tentatively walked past the glowing runes before realizing nothing was happening. Laughing he ran up ahead to Kealie, falling in stride with her.

Quest smiled slyly. He walked over to a wall and pulled out his knife. He cut across a random section of the wall and called out to Haly. "I disrupted the connecting rune, now power is no longer being supplied to any of the rune circles in this hallway. It should be safe to walk down, in theory nothing can hurt you anymore."

Quest turned to Kealie. "I guess we get to take the hallway."

"Yes! Um, cool. I guess the two places to explore are down the hallway and up the staircase."

Quest began to look around at his companions and muttering to himself. After a moment, he began speaking out loud. "Another factor is that both me and Antin have knowledge of the runes, and Vance has scholarly inclinations. When it comes to avoiding or disabling traps I would say I can circumvent most rune circles and Antin and disrupt them. In terms of fighting, Vance is the clear best. Antin can be extremely useful in some fights though do little in others, high variation. Kealie....Kealie is a wild card, useful in every situation, oh and Eej. She can fight well. I can provide backup with fire and healing, and I suppose exploding runes, though costly and dangerous, also count as a form of attack." Quest blinked and looked at his friends. "Ah, sorry. I would think me and Kealie as one pair and Vance and Antin as another. You two can come together and figure out most problems. Also you can brute force through combat and magic issues. Me and Kealie can probably find some way to bend runes or Ocumeritation to get past any problem." Quest blushed. "Sorry, I, um, have a tendency to ramble."

"I, um, have access to life and fire magic. And experimental runes." "Why you dropping us off here?!" Miyako sputtered. "If we aren't taken we'll just be captured."
