  1. Miyako halfheartedly slashed at the mists before lowering her sword. She prowled through the mist while talking, looking for anyone hiding in it. "What kind of agreement?"
  2. Miyako watched as Yerik was being covered by golden threads. Probably needed to deal with that. "Viney!" Miyako began to blush, but forced it down. Now was not the time. "Go help Yerik, I can hold down here." Miyako threw herself off throne, sword flashing as she fell into the mist. The tassels of her mistcloack flared in the mist as she burned stee-
  3. Miyako stumbled across the thones, but they were empty. The very tip of the seat poked up above the cloud, giving her a view of Yerik tied up and dangling from the ceiling. "Travelers!" the Queen's voice called through the mist. "Warriors!" Her voice was silk and honey. "You have wandered far, and fought much. Surely, you must be tired!"
  4. Miyako spun around looking for the retreating soldiers in the mist. She ran towards where she thought the thrones were, to try and get a vantage point.
  5. The happiest of birthdays to you!

  6. Miyako stood stunned at Hyron's word and before she could question him he was already gone. Grumbling to herself, Miyako ran into the throne room. She called the water that was left from the attack on Geff and got to work on the soldiers.
  7. Miyako's face flashed between conflicting emotions. With a heavy sigh she fell into position besides Hyron, pointing her sword towards the enemy. "Tides." Miyako muttered. "Why did I kiss someone so stubborn?"
  8. Miyako looking at Hyron, a sad smile on her face. "Hy-" Miyako cut off. "Viney, you can't fight gods. I can."
  9. Well hello! Welcome to the shard! I must say that is a fairly impressive list of instruments. And math rock is my newly favorite named music type, it sounds like it should be in School of Rock. As for the food question, this is very hard for me to answer. I hate many foods equally. I'll just say anything with peanuts, to trigger the most people.
  10. I stayed up until 3 reading last night, in theory because I didn't have to do anything today. I happen to be a sucker for a really good magic school plot.
  11. Dang, that sucks. Good for you? I totally get what your going through, bottling it up is all to familiar to me. But it's awesome that you were able to cry about it and feel better. Keep going, we all love you, your an amazing human being! All that good stuff.
  12. HAHA FADRAN YOU FOOL. TIS ARCHIVIST YOU WERE REFERING TO, YET YOU USED MY NAME. I don't really care, I just think that's quite funny.
  13. Miyako choked out a laugh in between her sobs. "Our time is up. They're coming. But, tides, if I can let you live, see the world...that's enough for me. I've already fought the world. I'm broken even if you can't see it. But I'm ok right now, and that's enough." Miyako began to pull herself out of Hyron's grip.
  14. Miyako fell into the passionate embrace, letting go of everything else. And for a moment, it was just Miyako and Hyron. Miyako pulled her face away from Hyron, cupping their face in her hands. Breathing hard, she spoke in a whisper, "I'm a terrible person, ya know that right?"
  15. Miyako opened her eyes, tears streaming down her face. They stood there for a moment, Miyako searching their eyes. Miyako suddenly stepped forward, placing her hands on their face. She kissed him.
  16. "Hey! It was my plan to try to assassinate the queen! My life's already been spent, you've still got the world to see." Miyako palms tightened on her sword and she closed her eyes. "Me and my Shadow can take a few with us", she said resolute.
  17. I've thought about this way to much: I think I have a subconscious monologue that narrates the deeper thoughts and concepts I am going through. It is very loose however and as soon as I try to focus on it, I can only think in words. Whenever I think about how I think, I always can clearly visualize the words. However, I always seem to think more linearly when I am in this state, so I know it's not my resting state of mind. But that might just be me trying to understand my thinking.... As you can see, I think I have a monologue, but it's really hard to tell. I do know for a fact that I think out in words future conversations and things I am going to write.
  18. Quest peeked past Kealie to look into the room. The room was dimly lit and sparse. Rich wallpaper and fine carpet covered the room and it was entirely devoid of runes. The only object in the room was a large shelf that covered the wall opposite the door. Lined on the shelves were dolls. They wore all manner of clothes and hair, but the same smile was painted on each. Quest thought he heard the faintest sounds brush past his mind, quiet giggling that tapered off as the door opened. Quest shivered.
  19. Miyako stalked away from the crack and down the hallway, stabbing the floor with every step. A loud sigh that quickly morphed into a groan, slipped from her mouth. Miyako clapped, pulling herself together. "Ok, ok. Viney, Acolyte. You can get out of here. You shouldn't have to pay for me being stupid." Miyako stopped and slowly drew her sword. "I can hold 'em off, maybe kill a few. But that's half the fun, right?" Miyako gave a sorry smile that was ruined when tears welled in her eyes. Miyako angerly pushed the tears away. "Tides. Just...just go. You deserve it more then I do." @Ookla the Crow "Yes, a fine choice of rooms. Would you, umm, be willing to go first?" Quest asked hesitantly. Nervous from the pause he rushed on: "My magic is better at healing others and your magic is probably better for...for, well everything."
  20. Miyako gave up control of the stream and left it to the Queen's will. Miyako dashed over to Hyron and grabbed his waterskin. Ripping it open, she sent out a second stream, towards Geff's head.
  21. Miyako eyes widened and she muttered a curse under her breath. She sliced her arm to the side and the stream pulled away from the young woman and towards the queen, shooting forward with lethal speed.
  22. Miyako breathed for a moment, calming herself. A bead of sweat rolled down her face. Voice firm but quiet, with no hint of emotion, Miyako counted off for Yerik's sake. "One. Two." Miyako closed her eyes, pulling herself together. Her breathing felt rushed, paniced. She felt like a boulder was rolling downhill and she had to stay sprinting to stay ahead. Pause, think and you'd already be crushed. To fast. Focus. Her mind felt sharp, cold. They are in the way, remove them. Miyako opened her eyes. If you were looking carefully, you would have seen them flash black. "Three." Miyako's hand whipped out as she propelled a stream of water towards the young women's chest. It moved with the speed of an arrow, liquid steel aimed to kill.
  23. Miyako flicked upon her waterskin and moved towards the crack in the wall. She nearly shot out her stream of water, but last moment, Miyako hesitated. "Geff the only sailor that would know your name?"
  24. "Tides, tides, tides. Acolyte don't get soft now. Take 'em out and escape down the hall. Clean cut?"
