Huh, well thanks, I guess. That must be annoying though, since Marasi likely has started consuming cadmium just as a precaution, and if she doesn't need to burn it that day, then woops! Hello sleep deprivation. But I guess I just have to accept it.
-
Okay, so according to google, cadmium is a highly toxic metal. We also know that Mistborn (and Mistings) Burn away all of their metals at the end of the day, or some other time, so they can avoid poisoning themselves. Wouldn't this mean that Cadmium Mistings who consumed cadmium at some point in the day must burn it at some point in order to not die. Wouldn't that mean that they would have to spend time burning that metal, and therefore stay at a faster time than everyone else while they burn away their reserves? Like, what if a pulser is going to bed at night, and burn their metal to avoid poisoning themselves, and then, when they run out, it's suddenly like 4:00 am. It would be really annoying. I guess we need to assume that Marasi needs to do this, but we see no mention of it in the books. Am I missing something? Obviously a Mistborn could just burn aluminum, but pulsers wouldn't have that luxury.

I don't think that's how perpendicularities work.

Hollow Knight Discussion Topic (+ Memes for funsies)
That1Cellist replied to Wyndlerunner's topic in Entertainment Discussion
For Nosk you just sit by that little ledge and upswing, and if he does charge at you, just jump over him and go back. Then just dodge when he goes in the celling. Now he isn't nearly as difficult, but that's what I did my first time. -

I think it depends on the individual lightweaving, the person who makes it, and how detailed they make it.

Nightblood, Metalminds, Raysium, and Identity Theft
That1Cellist replied to That1Cellist's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Whoops, sorry. Mistborn magics are not my forte -
Okay, here I go. So, a Feruchemist stores his Connection in a Duraluminmind. Then, he draws NIghtblood and destroys said Duraluminmind. Where do the connections go? If they are destroyed, does that mean there is a method of completely resetting your Connection in the Cosmere? The same thing could be done for Identity and everything else you can store, but destroying your Connection seems most useful. Let's say this Feruchemist in question was heavily connected to one shard, and thus could not ascend to become the shard of opposite Intent. So, he destroys his Connection, and is then able to ascend. I suppose this could be done without Nightblood, but there is another thing. If you destroy your Connection and Identity, it's almost like a get out of jail free card. You become a blank slate with endless potential. Another thought I just had is this. Could you use a Raysium dagger connected to a Alluminummind to draw out another person's Connection or Identity? Is literal Identity theft possible in the Cosmere? You could then shlurp up that stolen identity, and dispose of your own, therefore replacing your Identity (Or something else like Connection) with another person's? Again, I suppose you don't really need Nightblood for any of this, but the possibility of permanently destroying Identity or Connection seems very powerful. You could hold another person's identity hostage, or something.

Odium “We Killed You.” *R.O.W./Mistborn Spoilers*
That1Cellist replied to There’s A Shard Amock's topic in Cosmere Discussion
To start, I always thought, that when Odium said, "We killed you!" he was referring to himself and his fused. Like, a group of people who had the same goal and ultimately succeeded. Also, didn't Cultivation herself help to imprison Odium in the first place? What kind of effects could that have on the bonds placed upon Odium? If her goal is to combine all three shards, then that doesn't seem like a great course of action. Why would having multiple vessels with strong connections to other shards help Cultivation's plan? If the shards are to be combined, that doesn't seem necessary, as those vessels would need to be killed or at the very least de-ascended in order for that to happen. I don't think that quite works, because Cultivation is opposed to Odium taking over the system or escaping, and therefore would take action to splinter him if given the opportunity. I believe Odium would splinter Cultivation if he could, so the other way around would make sense as well. They seem to be opposed in the current conflict. I actually do think a lot of things in this theory have plenty of merit. How is it that two shards residing on a planet were almost both defeated by a singular invading shard? Cultivation also really doesn't do that much. I guess we are supposed to think its so she doesn't get splintered by Odium, but there almost certainly is more here. My last comment is this. Why would Cultivation want to combine the shards in the first place? I guess it could be an Intent thing, but I feel like the shards themselves seem pretty content to be apart. I don't know, that wasn't particularly useful or helpful. Sorry.- 1 reply

Haha Meta Knight go Brrrrr. Kirby can be fun. Especially when you are playing with items on and the other person is playing with either King Dedede or Wario, and you try to eat all the items.
-
Yup, I thought about bringing Marss up. He's picked up Joker now? Cool, I like Zackray! I just had a thought. Steve has a rough time against swordies. A lot of the top tiers are swordies or people with a lot of range. What if steve becomes like a gatekeeping character. He upholds the top tier because nobody else can beat him to get actual results at tournaments.
-
I don't know. Tweek doesn't play top, top tiers, and he does quite well. If Zackray was still around I might say it was him, since he's more a counter pick person. I don't really know. What do you think?
-
I don't know if Ultimate is my favorite, since I haven't played it that much, but it certainly is the best. Acola is good, but he is definitely carried by his character a lot more than other top players.
