  1. So you're saying that we live in a simulation run by an army of vengeance-seeking, universe-destroying hamsters? All of it is true. All of it.
  2. This was strangely calming, satisfying, and melancholy.
  3. ....I'm surprised you could fit in there. Now I know one more Sharder in real life! WWYDIYF my research paper IYP?
  4. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "I think I just..." Bookwyrm reached out and touched the crystal with his mind, filling it with energy. It flashed brightly. Then Bookwyrm collapsed to the ground, asleep. The Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway Bookwyrm looked around the place he had suddenly found himself. Ah...I see.
  5. Bookwyrm appeared again. "What are we talking about? Is there plot again?" Found the Kitten appeared at his feet, looking around for something interesting to do. Or eat.
  6. @Ookla the Frustrated. "Sorry about your eyes," Avi said. "It was all I could think of." Avi walked over to Il'anque and the dead beast. "I'm not the best at it...but I should be able to." She pulled out her dagger and started working, ready to take instruction or guidance from Il'anque if necessary. "Once we have this pelt, though, we should leave. The White Iron is waiting for us."
  7. Bolded posts are part of the story. Someone Else went and cried in a corner. Then she accidentally swore vengeance on everyone, because she forgot to specify Everyone (personified).
  8. Insanity Clinic: Library Bookwyrm nodded to Calano and sent his mind to the stormy planet. He was able to slip through Insa's breach in the clouds and solidify his grasp on the coordinates. Then he opened a Wyrmhole. "Let's go." The Planet Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Bookwyrm stepped out of the Wyrmhole and into a circular room made of stone. There were no doors or windows visible. The walls and ceiling were carved with runes that ran all the way around the perimeter. In the center, there was a stone pillar about four feet in height. At the top of it was a white crystal. Encarved in the stone pillar were a series of runes. "Use my power to enter the Dream," Bookwyrm read aloud. "What could that mean?" @Ookla the Crow @Ookla the Myopic @InfiniteInsanity @Ookla the Shadowed
  9. Wait, we're allowed to start RPing before the game even starts?
  10. Insanity Clinic: Library Bookwyrm opened his eyes and looked around the room. "If we're going, we need to go now." @Ookla the Crow @Ookla the Myopic @Ookla the Shadowed @PyroPhile @Ookla the Pencil Taxi @Ookla the Ta'veren @Thaidakar the Ghostblood
  11. "This little rabbit is fine. It definitely won't sacrifice me to distant evil gods." When moving through time backwards.
  12. It was then that Platypus's great evil deeds were revealed to the universe. Either that, or he was being framed. No one was quite sure.
  13. Insanity Clinic: Library No. As long as the barrier is broken, I'll be able to get us there.
  14. "What in the sparkly?!"- My seminary teacher, who is also my dad.
  15. "I'm fine," Avi said, grimacing as she stood up. "Nothing I can't handle." "I'm okay with this."
  16. Ast'avi managed to score a strike on one of the invisible beasts with her dagger. She spun to dodge it's next attack, then began to prepare another spell to finish it off. A vivid vision struck her. She saw Il'anque fail to block a vicious attack from one of the monsters and die a gruesome death. The vision faded and Avi turned to see Il'anque fall, pinned by the monster. It brought it's claw down to strike. Avi called upon the power of the Starmother, whoever that was. Avi had heard different people proclaim the existence of a Goddess of the Stars, but none of them seemed to agree. Some claimed she was on the same level as the Sun and Moon, while others simply said she was a lesser deity confined to a smaller domain. Regardless, Avi was her descendant. Her daughter, in a sense. That unnamed Goddess was her Starmother. Her strength flooded Avi, and she channeled that into a beam of blue-white light that shone as bright as a sun and flew as true as a perfect beam of starlight. It pierced the heart of the creature, throwing it to the side. It collapsed, dead, and it's invisibility vanished, revealing a wolf-like creature with silvery fur and deep black eyes. It lay dead, a burnt hole through it's body. Avi fell to her knees as she felt the energy of the spell leave her. @Ookla the Frustrated.
  17. Avi spun as a second vision warned her of an attack to the side. She failed to score a hit on the passing monster. How many are there? And do they have a weakness? They're invisible... An idea struck her. "Isek! Il'anque! Cover your faces and close your eyes!" Without waiting to see if they were ready, Avi drew upon the Wizardry she had learned during her years as a Reaper Acolyte, and even before. She drew a mixed rune of earth and air and directed it at the ground. A gigantic cloud of dirt and sand exploded into the air, spreading outwards with a gust of wind. The dirt and sand stuck to her cloak and uniform. But also the pelts of the invisible beasts. They had a roughly canine shape, but with eight legs, each ending in a vicious claw. They could see their enemy now. @Ookla the Frustrated. @Ookla the Nerdy
  18. Suddenly, on a distant world far from the Ghanderflaffle Empire, Humans re-evolved. They lived in peaceful bliss and managed to avoid the cycle of self destruction that plagued some other humans.
  19. Happy (probably slightly early) Birthday!

  20. This caused all other civilizations to easily succumb to them.
  21. I think hot dogs are sandwiches. A sandwich being, by my definition, any food that is in some way enveloped by another, distinct, separate kind of food. If open faced sandwiches are also sandwiches, then we need to extend the definition slightly. Also, all sandwiches are just organized salads. And soups are also salads.
  22. Insanity Clinic: Library Bookwyrm closed his eyes and forged a connection to Insa's mind. Then, he reached out, searching out the location detailed by the coordinates. Here, he said, showing Insa the distant world. It orbited a red sun, and it's surface was completely obscured by layers of swirling gray clouds. Flashes of lightning glimmered on and off constantly on the nightside. This is it. We need you to use your powers to make a hole in the storm. An eye. Long enough for a strike team to get through. Even as he showed Insa the stormy world, he sent a message to Calano and Emma. Gather anyone who is going to come on the Archive expedition. We're leaving soon. @Ookla the Crow @Ookla the Myopic
  23. A dione scientists went to sequence the genome of several Root Cult Members to figure out what species they were.
  24. Insanity Clinic: Library Bookwyrm nodded. "Emma is right. You have more skill than you realize." He met Insa's eyes. "I should have helped you realize that sooner, and I'm sorry. Sometimes I'm not the teacher I think I am. I hope I can do better in the future." Bookwyrm held out his hand to Insa. "I can show you to where you need to go, but as for what to do, you'll have to figure that out on your own. Take my hand. I'll show you where the storm is."
