  1. Avi watched as the corpse of the Denkthen tumbled down the cliffside, it's strange carapace shattering as it went. Then she turned and managed to climb up to the platform where Il'anque and Isek stood. "Nice work," she said. "Not far till the third layer." The jagged cut on her arm flared with pain and she winced. Stars, that hurts. She pulled a bandage from her pack and went to wrap it. @Frustration
  2. I love pineapples.
  3. ...No, I was saying that I didn't have to imagine not being the winner, because I knew that someone was going to post next. Now I have to imagine not being the winner, because I am the winner. Until someone posts again.
  4. YES. One of these days I'll rant to you all about the board game we got today called Sleeping Gods. Admittedly, I haven't played it yet, but I can already tell that it is storming awesome. TPBM has unique music tastes.
  5. I can't help but notice your new member title/rank/whatever it's called...

    And I need to ask...

What is your classification system for Sharder generations? I'm curious to see how it compares to mine. And where I fit in it all.

      Robin Sedai

I would also like to know this

      Channelknight Fadran

I don't have a good classification. I guess just now that most of my ol' Shardbuddies rarely if ever pop on nowadays, and there's this long list of new people that've been around for long enough to take up fulfillment positions.

  6. If the internet is a web, does that make us all spiders? Or are we the insects trapped in the web?
  7. It was the new Ultimate Plan for the next era of TLT. Eof began to see the effects of this plan, and began to formulate his own.
  8. Darn. I'll go ask them in the other thread. Maybe.
  9. ...Both of them have some explaining to do.
  10. Even Eof. Then again, spending time with family had become much more of a priority for him in recent pages. He'd distinctly changed for the better. Foe, on the other hand...
  11. Merry Christmas!

I have a copy of The Lost Metal now. Meaning I also now own the entire Wax and Wayne series.

...But it looks weird on my shelf because AoL and TLM are both hardcover, but SoS and BoM are both paperback.

    It's a little Mistborn Era 2 sandwich.

    1. Szeth's Facepalm

      Szeth's Facepalm

For me, BoM and TLM are hardcover and AoL and SoS are paperback. I have the hardcovers on my show-off bookshelf and the paperbacks on my little bookshelf.

    2. Thaidakar the Ghostblood

      Thaidakar the Ghostblood

      Lol.

All of mine are hardcover, but they all don't have covers on. TLM has a different side tho. It's annoying.

  12. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway-The Hallway "I don't often talk to her when others are around," Bookwyrm replied. "Windaphra is...an interesting Honorspren, to say the least." He paused for a moment, then turned to an empty spot of air. "Well, what else do you want me to say?" Bookwyrm sighed and shook his head. "Nevermind." He turned to Calano. "So, are we good to get down the hallway with a Lashing?" @CalanoCorvus
  13. @InfiniteInsanity Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway-The Hallway Bookwyrm put a little more energy into his ball of Nightfire. It grew in size and in brightness, illuminating the dark hallway a little more. The mostly featureless corridor extended very far into the darkness. "This," he said, breaking the eerie silence, "is a really long hallway." He paused. I wonder... Bookwyrm turned to Calano and Matra. "I could Lash us down the hallway with Gravitation," he said. "That would certainly get us there faster. And my powers should work in the dream, because, well-" he raised the hand with the Nightfire. @CalanoCorvus @Shadowed
  14. Someone idly wondered how Christmas had become a thing in a place like TLT.
  15. .....Oh my scud. You just broke my brain forever.
  16. You misunderstand. This thread, and also TLT, can never die. It's impossible. Someone will always, always return to make a random post. The just fall asleep for a little bit.
  17. Courtesy of my brother: what's the difference between a rainfall and a waterfall?
  18. Avi watched as the Denkthen screeched in pain, desparatley trying to throw Il'anque off. Stars, she thought. A drop from this height...the crystal riddled mountain would not be something good to go tumbling down. Avi cursed as the Denkthen's thrashing destroyed part of her leverage. She scrambled for a handhold, scraping her left forearm in the process. Avi winced in pain as warm blood ran down her arm. Worry about it later. She scrambled onto a ledge where she managed to stand, then called another constellation of glittering "stars". She waited until the Denkthen fell into a brief lapse in it's rampage, then fired. The shimmering projectiles barely missed Il'anque, but speared the Denkthen through the torso. @Frustration
  19. Aaaagh this is hard. My gut is telling me Hael. But it's hard to be sure. TUN might be the better option. I'm V! Reading Stick... and Null reading Aman with a slight V! lean... Kas is being hard to peg for me. He's probably village. And I have no idea what to do about Insanity and Almond.
  20. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway Bookwyrm nodded and continued down into the depths. When they reached the bottom of the stairwell, Bookwyrm found an entrance into a long wide hallway. "I'm guessing," he said, "That the archive is at the end of this." @Shadowed
  21. In regards to Xino and Nerdy: It was a gut feeling. Yes, I know that's unsatisfying and seems suspicious, but it's the truth. Even with Xino's past behavior pointing to the fact that he should be Elim, I wanted a little bit more evidence before I went for him. I was willing to vote him, but Nerdy seemed so much more suspicious to me in the fact that they, at least for a few cycles, pushed really hard for a Xino vote without any evidence except his past behavior. Sometimes not even that. I wanted more evidence before I went for Xino, though everyone else seemed okay with it, because he was exed, and flipped Village. At that point I was sure Nerdy was Elim. But they weren't. So now I'm quite literally back to square one. I don't know who to suspect. I think Hael and TUN are worth a look. In the case that they come up clean, I'd also be willing to look at Kas and Aman, but I'm pretty sure Hael and TUN are the most suspicious. And it's also possible that one between Insanity and Almond is Elim, but pretty unlikely that it's both of them. I need to go re-read the last few cycles. EDIT: Is it a possibility that Insanity and Almond are both Elim?
  22. No, see, it's simple! Once you've finished the part of the plan with the cow, I just have to use the remaining pencil shavings from the pencil sharpener to save the world! No, I have two sniper rifles.
  23. What. Oh, scud. Nerdy was Village. What do I do now. The answer is sleep. I'm up too late. I'll deal with this tomorrow.s
  24. Oh...well, now the title of the thread makes sense...
