  1. Something I'm unsure of right now. I don't want to be hasty, considering how poorly my Dannex vote turned out.
  2. Happy Birthday!

It's likely you'll never see this, but I'm thankful for the books you've written, the worlds and characters you've made, and the community that your works have created.

Thank you, and good luck in your future writings!

  3. I painted my house green. All of it. The walls, the roof, the stairs; I even had the windows- What? No, it makes perfect sense. Go on.
  4. ...I'm confused. There isn't an MR62 yet. ...Okay, I did a mistake. I just spent like ten minutes going back and checking, and the only game I've played with Dannex is LG90, where he was Elim. The other one was BT3, which was broken anyway. For some reason though, seem to have memories of Dannex playing in a very relaxed way, and his actions last cycle contrasted from that. So if that assumption was inaccurate... I feel silly now. I still stand on my Xino train confusion, though.
  5. I'm somewhat confused with the Xino train. As far as I see, he posted once in Cycle 1: Which boils down to an excuse for inactivity and a vote on Kasimir. The only thing that's incriminating here is the vote on Kasimir. Based on Stick's reasoning here: I think Xino could be an Elim. But I don't see enough evidence to go off of that warrants a train on him. With this further information, would you care to elaborate?
  6. "A ghoughphtheightteeau?" Random Stranger said. "It's a little spud that grows in the ground. Some people spell it 'potato', but I prefer to spell it the correct way."
  7. Whichever one is the long one. I think it's crew. I hate ankle socks and cannot stand them. Also, all my socks are black. I own no pair of socks that aren't black. What is the most complicated board game you've played?
  8. A random stranger offered Rhehbbhehckaugh a ghoughphtheightteeau.
  9. Avi nodded, then realized that Il'anque couldn't see her. "Yeah," she agreed. She tried to use a jutting crystal as a handhold, but it crumbled and she temporarily lost her balance. She grunted as she pulled herself back to the safe handholds. After a moment, she managed to get to the top of that specific steep part. She gazed up the mountain. "About three fourths of the way to the third layer." She tried not to think about that nearly absolute vertical climb...she'd manage. She was saving some spells, if it came to it.
  10. Avi blinked. She wasn't accustomed to such blunt questioning. She pulled herself onto the next set of handholds, testing to make sure they were secure. "My family had their souls rescued and shuttled to the afterlife after their deaths," Avi said after a moment. "I want to be able to do the same for others." She kept the details to herself, hoping that Il'anque didn't prod further.
  11. "Hm," Avi said without elaborating as she started up a particularly steep growth of crystal. That is interesting...
  12. The more you all talk about it, the more I realize I do this a lot. I talk to myself. Sometimes, instead of me talking to myself it's me voicing out loud what one of the characters in one of my stories is saying to another. (This is stuff I intend to write down later and sometimes get to and sometimes don't.) Sometimes, it's a version of me talking to another character. (I have this weird interconnected universe in my head in which I'm a character.) Sometimes it's me just talking to myself. (I'm a pretty interesting person to talk to.) Narrating things in actual language just makes some things easier. I'm not sure what all the details are or what it entails; I just have a weird mind. Hey, @InfiniteInsanity, you talk to yourself. What do you have to say about this?
  13. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway "I'm...not quite sure where it is." Bookwyrm said as he scanned the grassy field filled with black rocks. The sky was blue up above; cloudless, with no sun. There was something off about it, which made sense, considering it was a dream. Bookwyrm reached out with his mind. His Telepathy worked slightly differently in a world of the mind. He sensed the fabric of the dream, searching for... "I think I found something," Bookwyrm said, walking towards one of the rocks. It had a strange symbol carved on it. He closed his eyes, reached out, and.... The stone shifted, and a doorway to a deep spiral stairwell appeared. "Well," Bookwyrm said. "There we have it." @Ookla the Crow @Ookla the Shadowed
  14. What's wrong with essays? I like essays. Sometimes. Silhouette's was definitely one of the likeable essays.
  15. Welcome to the Shard! What have you read so far by Brandon Sanderson, and which is your favorite? My least favorite food is cereal. Like, breakfast cereal. I hate it with an utter passion, haven't gone near it in years, and to be honest, I'm not quite sure why. It just disgusts me. Hot cereal, like oatmeal, is fine. But cold cereal makes me want to throw up. And I have no idea why.
  16. Hello, I'm here now. This game is moving fast and I'm only just figuring things out. Re-reading the posts so far, something is off about Dannex...Part of this is me trusting more experienced players who are also reading him as elim, and also because he seems to be doing more to deflect possible suspicion than what I've seen him do in the past. Time for my trademarked "This vote could be subject to change in the future."
  17. Avi watched as Il'anque utilized the cliff face to quickly climb up past her own position. How did she...what? Avi attempted to follow Il'anque's path, but struggled. By the time she reached the top of the cliff and back onto flat ground, she was gasping for breath. "Where'd you learn to climb like that?" she asked. @Ookla the Frustrated.
  18. The Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway "I've been in dream-like spaces before, but nothing like the Dreamscapes of these universes," Bookwyrm said, looking around. "How is it different?" Bookwyrm felt the consciousnesses connected to his mind observe the space. Beings he had bonded with; three in particular. Two dragons, and his Honorspren. They were his close friends, but had lay dormant in his soul since he had entered the clinic, sleeping, and waiting. An instinct told him that he might need their help in the future, though. They were ready to take a physical form the moment he needed them to. @Ookla the Shadowed
  19. Confusion tortured Everyone to figure out who Anyone was.
  20. This does happen to me sometimes. I just do my best and hope it works, even though it feels like I'm not doing anything. TPBM is wasting time that should be going into homework.
  21. I'm wasting so much time with this.

      Szeth Pancakes

Nope. I've also gotten stuck on the surface of both the sun and the sun's remnant and had to reload

Update: you can actually reach escape velocity on the remnant if you keep the ship at the right angle and bounce it.

It works on the sun and sun's remnant, but if you get stuck on one of the black holes, there's nothing you can do at all.

  22. Avi followed Il'anque until they reached a cliff that marked the start of the Second Layer. It was a short climb for this first small stretch, but it would be difficult to reach the Third Layer. And Avi didn't even want to think of what she had to do at that point. She grabbed a crystal jutting from the small cliff and began to climb. Best save magical forms of ascension for when I actually need it... @Ookla the Frustrated.
  23. "The humans built a giant metal moon that looks like a cyclops and shoots green lasers that blow up planets." The Empire vs. The Superiority. Neither of them'll see it coming!
