  1. Also does he need to, does feruchemical atium need to be nalatium to compound age/youth?
  2. That could be pure atium, nothing to say that wouldn’t work for Marsh, or they alloyed it with electrum afterwards to make it work.
  3. Yeah, Spook is definitely the most likely option. Still requires him or another person or people having full feruchemical power set between them to combine. As all natural full feruchemists are dead post-catacendre then it presumably has some hemalurgy involved as well. Maybe from inquisitor spikes instead of newly made spikes? We know they got a lot of feruchemical power from killing the Synod.
  4. Or a Max’s niece or nephew, child of Wax’s third or fourth child who will be a stronger Misting as they will have a Mistborn for a grandfather.
  5. I am so on the fence with the Stormfather versus Stormfaker argument I’m getting splinters. He does sound different, but is that early drafting issues? or lack of a bond? (he never says much until after Dalinar bonds him), or does his failure with Gavilar change him? The Ishar theory is a little contrived, but believable. But how does the Stormfather not notice his involvement? We know the Stormfather had some connection to Gavilar, it can’t all be Ishar.
  6. I wish that Venli had had more involvement in the Urithiru plot, the Willshaper book did not flesh out the character enough for me. I am sure that Brandon will develop the Listeners more. Regarding the back five, adding in characters we don’t know as well, in different orders and who may be earlier in their Oaths will help freshen the series and give even more perspectives. Although Jasnah is a different take as she is already at least the fourth ideal, and the Heralds will add a great deal of history, but them presumably becoming radiants will be interesting versus their previous powers, especially Ash, as she is presumably gaining powers from a different order than she was granted by her blade. And who knows what Dalinar and Kaladin’s fate will be at the end of stormlight 5. They could be ascended or dead or anything in between. They may not be there at all, although I hope they are.
  7. This is fun to theorise even though it is pure speculation until we get some more information from Brandon. My other thought to try and connect them is the shards we know the associated numbers of. Presumably the shards under the same Dawnshard have a numeral connection eg: 1,2,3,4 or 4,8,12,16. Can the ones we know or have an educated guess at the numbers be linked?: Preservation (16), Honor (10), Odium (9), Virtuosity (13?), Endowment (5?) maybe others I can’t think of right now.
  8. I see you point about enhancing. I’m pretty much sold on Creation and Stabilise or similarly named Commands. Enhance, Unite, Passion? What is that fourth one. I tried setting up an excel spreadsheet to list the shards and what they could be under, still didn’t get anywhere. Devotion and Dominion are the ones that stump me as well. Probably the shard names that could have the widest scope, we know very little about those intents and aren’t likely to find much out until Dragonsteel, as they are splintered.
  9. I think you’re definitely on to something here, I’ve been playing around with a table for a while. Never got a full layout I’m happy with. Virtuosity’s confirmation along with Invention makes me almost certain Create is a Dawnshard. (Hoid’s?) Obviously we know about Change. I like Stabilise, I’ve been calling it Stasis or “Survive”. It’s just that final one, is Strengthen too similar to Change? I’ve also seen convincing arguments about Passion fitting in somewhere too.
  10. I completely agree it’s likely to be Ambition’s magic system. To add to your points: 1. The people of the planet have to constantly “move forward” every day. 2. Those that are invested have a “burning” heart inside of them. Could be grasping at straws, but we know Brandon likes his word play.
