    can you be physically insane? The Quarkbeast alternated between the mime lair, watching the witherlord, and watching the Nowhere/Rond battle. It had taken a liking to Someone else. It alternated between the three places so quickly that it didn't miss anything. It waited patiently, knowing that eventually, there would be a use for its stomachblade. Also, it was hungry.

    A possible solution to the freewill thing is that the general outcome is predetermined, but there are many ways of getting there, and small choices like what to where are not affected.

    The Quarkbeast wandered in, confusing the disembodied voice.

    The Quarkbeast heard the thoughts of Someone Else, and looked warily at him, unsure of why he wanted to get food for it. The Quarkbeast turned to Ash, who was far off, and said "QUARK!"

    It's more like, mortals exist in a different way of time than immortals, and a part of them belongs to the spiritual realm.

    The Quarkbeast watched with interest and mild annoyance, it had been gone for a bit. The Quarkbeast brought him a new bag and then vanished and reappeared elsewhere, because quarks do that.

    This just means no backwards time travel. Free will is the essence of existence.

    The Quarkbeast thought about eating the sun, but that would have unfortunate consequences, and it was starting to feel a bit full. It ate its way out from under the meteor that smashed it.

    The Quarkbeast agreed, but it was The Quarkbeast, and so could eat stuff the others could not. To prove its point, it ate a large meteor.

    The Quarkbeast had no clue who that was, as it had only come in like 50 pages ago. It just knew it could eat anything, given proper leverage and time.

    The Quarkbeast was a little offended, Mythos had no connection to the witherlord anymore unless it was reestablished in the same way anyone else became a withergeist. Mythos also no longer had withergeist powers, if he did, the connection to the witherlord had returned.

    The Stomachlight healed the Quarkbeast, and it glared at Nowhere. It proceeded to eat Thaidakar, because it was all his fault.

    This probably depends on the connection they have to their original from, or what they consider their true form. Shapeshifters are weird, though a little less weird in the Cosmere

    It worked last time. And 15 of the Quarkbeasts have left and are minding their own business elsewhere. The Quarkbeast ate Nowhere's sack, startling it because it had never seen or heard of anything like the Quarkbeast.

    The quarkbeast happily ate the platinum bars, regardless of whose they originally were, they were its now.

    The Quarkbeast ate them and immediately transformed them into Stomachlight, which fueled its surges.

    The Quarkbeast refused to eat Butt, instead recalling the oaths it had made off screen when it had gotten the Stomachspren Life in Death, Strength from Weakness, Journey becomes Destination.

    The Quarkbeast happily ate Thaidakar's change, freezing him for a moment. It also completely ignored Thaidakar's scolding, as it was pretty sure it was more intelligent than Thaidakar.

    Yea, the Quarkbeast brought it when he visited there. The Quarkbeast was excited, as all parties involved seemed incapable of dying. Butt Venture sat on the ground to watch as well, confused. someone do SOMETHING with Butt! He's not mine.
