Words of Radiance says nothing about the number of Windrunners, I don't know where this is coming from.

Well, now you have to draw all the things.

This has always been my assumption. I believe the Returned are really just vessels for the Divine Breaths, which is why the personality and memories of their previous lives are erased - Lightsong is not Stennimar come back to life, he is a Divine Breath that inhabits Stennimar's body. I explain the occasional memory, dream, feeling, deja vu, or display of skill by claiming that the Divine Breath doesn't completely wipe off its vessel's brain - motor functions are kept, and so are the parts of the brain responsible for, well, skill. So I guess Stennimar's Cognitive Aspect was replaced by Lightsong, the Breath, while his Spiritual Aspect was kept (largely) the same.

Yea, definitely weird name. Maybe reading the actual short story will give us some insight about why Sixth has this name, and why he is "of the Dusk."
-
This is correct, Auri was not in the original.

Those usually go to the Events, Signings, and Stalking forum, but you are far from the first person to misplace a thread like this, so don't worry

If this is your real name, we should totally be BFFs. Because Kasimir is an awesome (and very likely Alethi) name.

Yea, I still like XKCD's explanation better. Because potato. My way of dealing with Heartbleed was to finally register for LastPass. Since I have pretty much all of my passwords saved in my Google account, I could import those into LastPass and let it tell me which ones are associated with websites that were vulnerable to Heartbleed and could've been compromised. I updated those, and have (slowly) been working my way through the remaining few hundred websites I have accounts for...

Well, yea. But the circle in the middle of gesheh threw me off - though, admittedly, I haven't spent much time looking at it.

Far too much implied knowledge. We are not 100% certain it was Hoid who came out of the Horneater lake, we don't know he was using it to worldhop, we don't know those lakes are Cultivation's pool, and we are not even 100% sure he was referring to her when he mentioned that bit about there being only one woman his age around here. Best case scenario Brandon would answer with a question along the lines of "why do you think X?" - worst case it's an outright RAFO, especially with how stingy he has been about the Shardpools.
-
I am going to guess that this is just a minor oversight on Brandon's side - the phrase probably sounded cool to him, so he unintentionally added it in two of his books. I figured Teft uses the term because the chasms are Bridge 4's, and they are littered with bones.

nalesean's Jordancon Signing Report 2014
Argent replied to Trae Cooper's topic in Events and Signings
Hmm, interesting information about how identity works. -
It might be worth mentioning that snow in Jah Keved is rare, even during winters.

To expand a little on the Splinter, it is a piece of a Shard's power that has gained sentience, but was not sentient in the first place (so a human can never be a Splinter). Also, I saw a WoB a few weeks back that said that Vin and the Lord Ruler were actually Shards for a brief moment before they turned into Slivers.

Is this any different from this?

And the Heralds predate the creation of humans on Roshar and the arrival of Honor and Cultivation?

Or they were (at least partially) responsible for the Shattering of Adonalsium. That would make the Shards their responsibility, and by extension - any changes they force on their Holders.

Jezrien Stormfather confusion (possible spoiler alert)
Argent replied to Pathfinder's topic in Stormlight Archive
Still, it is odd that the Alethi use both Jezrien and Stormfather to refer to the face in the highstorms - weird enough for me to not write off immediately as "it's just a cultural quirk." -
There is? All I've seen is speculation.

You can Soulcast metals suitable for the Metallic Arts (or at least Allomancy), somebody asked this during the Words of Radiance tour. I think Brandon said alloys probably wouldn't work though - just pure metals, like iron or copper.
-
A literal dragon, yes. Of course, every fantasy author does their own version of the genre's signature race / species, so we'll have to wait and see what Brandon's dragons actually are.

Pretty sure we have it confirmed that Khriss is not on Roshar.

Meh, all he does is troll anyway
