  1. WoK - don't remember too long ago WoR - 1 week OB - 3 days RoW - 8 hours
  2. Oooo I agree the first is the most predictable and likely. But I'd also like to see some of those others play out.
  3. You could use some of those spirographs for people to "create" a cryptic. You could have them do it on paper or get fabric markers and draw them on cheap bags or a t-shirt.
  4. Also most of a shard's power is in the spiritual realm and there is no such thing as location in the spiritual realm. So you can reach through from anywhere and grab any shards power pretty much. It's similar to how the metallic arts works anywhere.
  5. Is it possible for a dawnshard to be involved with Nightblood's creation? Could Shashara held a Dawnshard to help her visualize the creation? We see Vivenna's sword and it seems to do the same color draining thing, but not leaking investiture or whatever. Is that due to a different command or the lack of a dawnshard involvement? But while Nightblood is incredibly powerful, at the same time he doesn't seem like Dawnshard powerful.
  6. Dawn of Wonder by Jonathan Renshaw is pretty good. It has been a while since I've read it though so I don't remember how good...
  7. I remember either reading or hearing Brandon say that while night blood was full and would be safe for a little time, as soon as he is a tiny fraction less full you are gone.
  8. I don't think they are going to die or really even a possibility, I just wanted to have a 10 options and one person for each order but I ran out of ideas pretty quick if you couldn't tell.
  9. 1. Way of Kings - It was just beautiful 2. Words of Radiance - It was enjoyable, a few scenes I disliked but not many. 3. Oathbringer - I enjoyed the battle at the end but the middle was a little harder for me to get through. 4. Rhythm of War - I had a hard time getting through the Shallan parts. And Navani. And Dalinar. And Kaladin. I still enjoyed it... but something about it just felt off.
  10. I agree with everything said. Fused are definitely more powerful. They would totally be an overpowered bad guy... if there wasn't overpowered good guys. However, to me at least, it seems Brandon is trying to portray the Fused as more humane. His whole point seems to be that Fused aren't all bad. Brandon seems to be raising these questions in stormlight, like who is really the bad guys. The radiants or fused? And so while the Fused are bad guys, they aren't made to be terrifying creatures that haunt your dreams like the inquisitors, they made to make the line between good and evil less distinct than we pretend it is.
  11. When Marasi uses the Bands of Mourning she literally creates a vacuum as a result of her moving so fast. Can a normal steel feruchemist or twin born, if they store enough power, achieve this affect? Or is it a special thing cause by the incredible amount of power in the metalmind?
  12. My family recommended reading Elantris, I started reading it and stopped during the first few chapters. I didn't pick it up again until I was backpacking several months later and left with no books but this. I throughly enjoyed it but didn't feel compelled to read anymore of Sanderson. Then later over Christmas I was given Mistborn, I read it all day and all night. I became obsessed and read everything else of his available at the time.
  13. Proof: Cosmere Spoliers Theory: Hoid is actually Stephen Leeds
  14. Do Kandra even leave bodies when they truly die? (I would grab my Shadows of Self and check and see if it said anything but I can't find it. From memory I would say they don't leave bodies and as such can't be awakened into lifeless)
  15. I like the idea of mini shards. I think it also ties into the theory of him being a new herald. The first heralds kind of bombed it, with their sort of breaking their oath by leaving Taln and betraying what honor stands for. So maybe honor prepared specific people ahead to be new heralds, cause he knew the first ones would be no use in restraining Odium. As such Kaladin, and Syl are granted with greater power, even becoming a minishard, in an attempt to make future heralds more successful. Maybe this greater power granted to Kaladin makes him have a more intimate relationship with Tanavast even the name Son of Tanavast. The only problem with any of this is that if the stormfather knew any of this, why did he resist Kaladin and Syl bonding so much? If Kaladin was truly prepared by honor or even his literal son or an avatar wouldn't he want Syl to bond him?
  16. Hmmmm That's really hard... For some unknown reason I just absolutely despise Moash. I can't place my finger on why... Storm that storming man!
