Huh!? That's not how perpendicularites work? They are just points where the lines between the three realms blur, you can walk from the cognitive to the physical or vis versa. A bunch of investiture in one spot isn't going to do much to break a binding forged by a God. (Especially since cultivation's perpendicularity is just sitting there, If they could use it to break or get around the oath pact, they would have.)

I finished the book, and honestly, I'm not sure how I feel? It was definitely interesting and very weird but in a good way. I think I sort of understand the basics of the world, but the whole story is a bizarre sort of fever dream with new elements being kinda chaotically added. (You kill creatures of magic by having the ability to use magic and not using it) Also, the head of the wizard school is madly in love with a woman named Granny. I find the gender norms with both sides thinking the other are idiots hilairous while in actulitly both of them are weird. The I still don't know why my library marked it sci-fi, but thats probaly some future stuff. 100/11 would recomend

I looked at the other knight's pages, and none of the heralds are included (except Nale, but he's special). Ishar might count as in the order (depending on what a Bondsmith is), but it seems our definition does not include heralds, only those bonded to proper spren.
