  1. It depends on the context, Lifeless Creation is probably end-negative, a Nalthian being born is end-positive, and the average awakening is probably end-neutral as no breath is lost or gained.
  2. I think I keep getting pushed into Willshaper by the quiz cus I go 100% into fencing; it's always a very close thing between Light-weavers and Willshapers (1% difference without the Fencing), but I'm clearly one of the Scholar orders. I'm also apparently the least Bondsmith ever.
  3. Ado Is Magic and Magic Is Him.
  4. I'm just curious about what orders the 17th Shard is made up of; I'm a Willshaper. What are you? Here's the quiz https://www.brandonsanderson.com/official-knights-radiant-order-quiz/
  5. NOTHING AWFUL!? Major Spoilers for RoW I don't hate him since he is a fictional character, but he is not a nice person and deserves every thing that happens to him
  6. Huh!? You made this post?
  7. This is the best thing I've seen
  8. HEY ITS THE DAY
  9. Back when Argenti was a wee lad, He read the first two Alcatraz books, but didn't like them and thus put them down, never to read them again. Then, many years later he picked up Mistborn and ripped through them in the course of week; unable to be sated, he read all of the Cosmere that year, save white sands.
  10. HELLO SEAN I must disagree with you, Kelsier did many things wrong. Which books have you read?
  11. As far as we know the Aethers are their own kind of investiture, beholden to no one. Most investiture was assigned to a shard, but probably not all. We know Investure can be striped of connection and intent, so why couldn't this happen by an act of Ado?
  12. "Well that's terror-inducing, I hope you can find out a plan"
  13. "OHH I feel so silly, so it's more like a wall of Lightning? Maybe we can draw it away somehow?"
  14. " Soo it's a magic door? I have no idea how to bust down a magic door!"
  15. Axelle says "What's this Door thing? If it's locked I'm sure we can break it down. This Jeselin man looks strong enough?"
  16. All three of whom despised each other since grade school.
  17. Granted. You have shrank to the size of a toad and Shaquille to a normal person's. I wish I could read even faster.
  18. They're high; It's possible that two separate beings live under the sea and research aethers, but more than likely they're the same being.
  19. I stan Sazed trying to gaslight the primordial forces of stasis and decay into harmony.
  20. Thanks! I pretty much just realized it in this discussion, and it's an idea that's worth thinking about.
  21. Oh my today has been a wild day for notifications, I got nearly 20!

Also, I just watched Honor Among Thieves (The DND movie), It twas fun and the bending of the rules did make narrative sense.

The issues I had were as such,

Simon really shouldn't be able to cast speak with dead more than a couple times, much less any of his other spells (the Cleric's token might be a magic item rather than just a focus?)

The druid (I forget her name) really shouldn't be able to wildshape more than 2 per day (Unless she's 20th level which is unlikely), additionally she shouldn't be able to turn into an owlbear (this one is handwavy)

Dragons in DND don't breathe flammable gas, they breathe magical flame, which is made with built in magic.

Also Dragons can talk, no idea why this one didn't.

    3. Tea Leaf

      Tea Leaf

I caught both of the first two, the third one makes sense for the change and personally I would have done the same as a DM just for the tiny exploit given to the players. The final one is like how the bard didn't cast spells.

Yeah, no idea why he didn't use spells. The paladin was such a DMPC, basically just a plot device (again why no spells)

  22. Either way, the fact that we're discussing this proves my point.
  23. All Rosharians presumably view themselves as Cultivation and Honor's children. "The Sibling" is from our point of view, not the shards.
  24. Well, this is likely an exaggeration; humans (even rosharian superhumans) just can't run that fast. At 400 mph, Air resistance would be an issue and Fleet is not a brass ferring. He is pretty spooky though so a sub-4-Minute mile is good.
