    "Next to nothing. Mostly just that you hide in your workshop behind that 'Omen' fellow and make unique and powerful weapons." Everyone frowned. "Why do you ask?" "Thanks! I'll see you soon." Sequenced turned back to Omen. "Alright Omen! I'm ready for my test."

    Sequence frowned, but nodded. “Alright then, that’s okay I suppose.” She turned to Unintelligible. “Wish me luck! Oh, and thanks for telling me about the Dreamsmith, I think whatever they make for me is going to be really cool.” Sequence said with a smile. Everyone paused for a moment, thinking. “… I suppose… yes, yes I believe so.” They held out their hand and summoned an ornamented copper orb about the size of a baseball. On two of its sides, a a circle of glass revealed a view to the interior, which was empty at the moment. Everyone took a deep breath, closed their eyes, and poured a little bit of their power into it. A swirling mess of black mist and faint flickers of red lightning slowly accumulated in the orb. Everyone offered the orb to the Dreamsmith. “I think this may be of use.”

    “Aww what?? Can’t he come with me? Just to watch?” Sequence asked, looking sad. “He helped find this place for me!” Everyone shut their eyes tightly, being over and holding their head in their hands. “.. Ugghhhhggghh… I want… I want a weapon…” DO GOOD “A w-weapon that can harness my e-existing power..” DESTROY “To destroy all that which lies in my path.” Everyone stood up slowly, opening their eyes and rubbing them for a moment. “Can you do that, Dreamsmith?” Another note on Narrators, they tend to sort of represent yourself in lots of cases. For example, The Bookwyrm, Thaidakar, Sequence, Nameless, and other all were/are Narrators that share names with the user that made them. There’s others like Subversion and Mythos and Spook who don’t share names or personalities with users(authors). While this might just be my subjective opinion, I typically see Narrators as a way to put yourself into the story and represent yourself in whatever way you’d like.

    Yeah! Except in this context they're usually made of softer material and mainly for aesthetic purposes.

    Ah, that would be fully fingerless gloves. When someone mentions "fingerless gloves" it more refers to what are essentially half-fingerless gloves. They still have fingers technically, but they're cut short so your fingers poke out.

    "... Well hello Omen! It's nice to meet you." Sequence said with a sweet smile. "My name is Sequence, and this here is the legendary adventurer, Ookla the Unintelligible. I have come to see the Dreamsmith! I was told they could make me an interesting weapon, and I'm trying to expand my weapon collection." Everyone looked at the Dreamsmith, pausing for a moment. Something to help me do better. Do good... No, NO! Something to give me the power to destroy anyone I want, whenever I want, wherever I want... do good... destroy... do good... destroy... "I want something..." DOGOODDESTROYDOGOODDESTROY- "I want something that can help me fix things... repair that which is good and destroy that which is evil."

    The person smiled. “Yes!” They reached into the pack and pulled out a.. tea kettle. Its whistling had just barely died down when it was removed from the pack. They then reached in and removed two cups. They reached in again and took out… a small coffee table, which they set down in front of Lily. They sat down on the other side and poured two cups of tea. “So, what’s your name?”

    I struggle with typing apparently The person frowned and stood up from their garden, walking over to Lily. “Are you sure?” They shrugged a small backpack off their shoulders, reaching inside. “Do you need a bandage? Medicine? Tea? This odd pack I found seems to have it all.”

    Sequenced jumped, turning around to face the voice. "... Why yes, yes I do!" Everyone stood up, feeling increasingly nauseous. "... The Dreamsmith, I presume?"

    Sequence stepped out onto the cloud and looked around in wonder. "Well come on! What are you waiting for?" A frown slowly spread across Everyone's face and they wrapped their arms around their stomach. "Ah.. y-yes, right." Everyone slowly walked towards the hole, then stopped. What am I doing? I don't deserve power, or sentience, or a special weapon. AARRRGGHH NO, stopstopstopstopstop- Everyone smacked themself in the head several times then quickly jumped into the hole.

    Sequence gasped and ran over to Unintelligible. "Where where where- ohhhh." Everyone scowled, sitting down cross legged on the floor and thinking. They sat and thought... and thought... and thought... before finally punching the ground in anger and standing up. "Fine! Fine. Fine. I'll do it."

    "Great! That's the vibe I was going for." It started raining. Or, snowing. Snowing cotton balls. Sequence walked up to the door of the cottage and opened it. A cool blue fire burned in the hearth, and a fur rug sat in front of it with a few rocking chairs. Sequence looked around. "Hmmm..." She opened a few cupboards in the small kitchen. Everyone's jaw dropped. "Waitwaitwait.. isn't there another option? Some other test? Something else?"

    Fuzzy thought for a moment. "I suppose that's fair... wouldn't it be the kind thing to do, though?"

    "The sportsman-like thing to do would be to take a quick breather." Fuzzy said with a nod. "Fighting on an empty stomach is hardly fair."

    Okay, the plan goes as follows: you get into the cannon, I prime the fuse, and fire. You fly for a few miles then open your parachute (assuming you're alive) and land on the target. Understood? Good. Ready when you are. GET OUT OF MY HEAD-

    Sequence thought for a moment, looking around. “Here! Follow me.” Sequenced waved her hand and a door appeared. On the other side was another place. Portals hurt her eyes too much, this was a much better way of going about it. Blue-leaved trees with silver bark made up a thick forest that was parted by a path of pale red gravel. “This is my planet! What do you think? I made it as just a fun little getaway. This is the peaceful area, but there’s a lot more. At the end of this path is a little cabin and I have a feeling the entrance will be in there. Just like, a little buzzing, y’know?” Everyone looked at Falvan. “How did you get here? You know what- nevermind, I’m getting to the Dreamsmith first!” Everyone paused, looking over the figure. “What do I fear? Well, I fear a lot of things. Ooklas, losing my power, losing my possessions, losing my sentience… most of all though, I think I fear empathy. Eugh, even a little bit of it has completely ruined me. Imagine what more could do.”

    “Goody!” Sequence exclaimed. “Where should we start?” Everyone approached the figure in a relaxed manner. “Why hello.”

    Sequence nodded. "Alright then, I think I'll go looking now! Care to join me?" Everyone gasped, they had not expected that to work! They hastily opened the trapdoor and slipped through.

    "'Just look for him and I'll find the way'?" Sequence asked, frowning. "That sounds extremely vague and cryptic." Sequence furrowed her brow and thought a moment, pacing back and forth. "Does he leave clues or signs to his place? Maybe.. echoes? Of some kind? Am I overthinking this? Do I just have to wander around and 'let my heart guide me' or something?" Sequence continued pacing. Meanwhile, Everyone immediately started looking. They took a rather unorthodox approach, looking places like under rocks or in bushes. As if they were searching for a lost object.

    Sequence's eyes widened and she leaned in to the examine the revolvers. "Oh my! Those are lovely.. How does one locate this.. 'Dreamsmith'?" Everyone perked up from wherever they were, listening closely. Their little power-potency-duplication device wasn't nearly enough for their ambitions, so a specialized weapon sounded perfect.
