  1. I definitely don’t get plot ideas from roleplaying on the Shard…
  2. Thanks for the kind words! (Also btw, we’re not supposed to double post. Instead, just edit your previous message instead of posting two in a row)
  3. Saaphir swung in his hammock, watching over the edge. “Be nice to him Ji!” He called down. “don’t bite him or anything. He’s a friend of mine.”
  4. @xinoehp512
  5. Inspired by @Szeth's Facepalm’s status update, I put a bunch of sharders into a Hunger Games simulator…

    Spoiler

Turns out, Kaymyth is the most skilled Sharder when it comes to mortal combat. (Also sorry if I got someone’s gender wrong, I had to guess on several)

Gosh now we gotta do this with our new era of sharders

  6. Regardless of cost: Shogun but generally speaking: Chickfila How are you doin lately?
  7. Idk, how does it work?
  8. I’ll do whatever, but I’m too lazy to type in color Also invading is fun!
  9. Eh i have a mostly greyscale pfp. Makes sense for me to be greyscale
  10. *invades* tsk tsk, its crapaflapnasti, can’t believe you would misspell a random, arbitrary, made-up word from a book. YOU WILL NEVER MATCH THE POWER OF GREYSCALE
  11. Granted. You can only travel into horror stories. I wish to go on a cruise for a month
  12. If you’re not concerned with genre, and don’t mind historical fiction, I can’t recommend Projekt 1065 by Alan Gratz enough. Very high stakes, low plot armor, and a quite serious tone. Its a world war 2 story centered on an Irish boy who’s family (who are embassadors in Nazi-ruled Berlin) are spies for the British. Extremely good book. I’m looking for something with a hard magic system, (military?) fantasy, that’s preferably a standalone. (Or at most a trilogy)
  13. What the literal heck is going on here. Also…. *wins* CHEEEEEZCAAAAKK
  14. I had a dream that (ATLA spoilers? Probably not necessary but to be safe) Also, I have this creepy recurring dream that I hate, where there’s this deep fathomless silence and emptiness, and if I make any sound at all (which I inevitably do), that sound gets louder and louder until it consumes everything and I wake up. Kind of hard to describe, and I’m not really doing it justice, but its terrifying and I’ve been having it for like 6 years or so. Though I usually only have it a few times in a year. Worst part about it is that it just happens again when I fall back asleep, so whenever I have it, I just stay up until morning…
  15. Always having enough socks Having the cold water in the sink be actually cold whenever I want. The ability to cook bacon really well
  16. Here’s mine: Odium kills all the nice shards. Taln then kills Odium and the other remaining shards. Then Taln takes up all the shards and rules Roshar forever, basking in his coolness and playing with Shinovaran puppies.
  17. A bit, but not very well. Just the basics. TPBM has listened to either Writing Excuses or Intentionally Blank
  18. Neither. Also fun fact: when working at a summer camp, one of the senior counselors came up to me and asked if I knew the “fortnite rap” (Chug jug with you), and then I proceeded to (upon his request) stand up on a cafeteria table with a microphone at dinner time, and lead 300-400 kids in singing it. Twas hilarious TPBM knows about The Game.
  19. Nah, I’m not a fan of physical contact in general TPBM has watched (and enjoyed) Encanto
  20. sorry for all the status updates recently ^_^

Anyway, there was something that I’ve been curious to see:

    1) What is the oldest book you own? (Not when the book was written, but how physically old that copy is)

    2) what’s the most valuable (money-wise) book you own?

    feel free to send pictures

Inside cover said 'Library for Young Girls And Boys'

Probably some kind of almanac for kids, basic information, what have you.

I think the oldest book I own is a copy of Inkheart. I don't know how old it is exactly. The most valuable is probably my hardback copy of Rhythm of War. I don't have a lot of expensive books:lol:
