    No, not really. It does introduce Ashoka fairly well, but that's really the only thing. The show is superior. The first two or three seasons are less quality than the last four seasons, but they're still really good. The first season and a little of the second season are the only ones that I would call over all, meh, besides some good episodes. The later seasons are over all really good with some meh episodes here and there.

    Andor for writing is so fricking good. I'd place it at second place for me on the tv shows with the clone wars right above it purely because when the clone wars has highs... they're higher than Dalinar in the years after he killed Evi before Gavilar died.

    I love the first season. I still need to watch Moon Knight. Tho, idk when and if I'll ever get around to it. I still have to catch up on all the Star Wars shows, namely Bad Batch, Rebels and Ashoka.

    Figuring out things for your book is just so satisfying- 

    Especially when it's hilarious.

    I came up with this sequence where the mafia boss dude is going to try to force his son (who is, in fact, one of the POVs) to.. ya know with the other MC. the son is going to say a few things to make his dad think he's going to go along with it and the other MC is ready to murder him and his father with her bare hands if he tries anything.

    Once his dad his gone, she's gonna say something sarcastic like "Are you going to really try? this time (they've had a duel earlier in the story) I'll sc-score a few hits on you. You w-won't survive the night."

    The guy will look at her as if she's given a great joke and then burst out laughing, "Please, give me some credit. I've given us enough time to talk while my Dad thinks we're..." He scrunched his nose. "And he thinks that I'd really..." He shook his head. 

    She looked at him skeptically, "Is that so?"

    "Yes, otherwise I would've said and done some things a lot differently. For one," He said slyly, "I would've gotten a guard to stand outside with a gun at the ready in case you tried anything. Second-"

    "Oh, if I tried anything."

    "Oh, be quiet."

    She glared at him, "I wo-won't be quiet! You're the son of a... a..."

    He rolled his eyes, "Believe me, I know."

     

    And... that's basically what I was thinking. And now I have to go shriek in excitement because that was exactly what I needed to write to get myself to realize who the characters are. Especially the guy.

    I just read this whole thread and I know I would not survive ten minutes with most of the things that have been mentioned. I would either break down because my brain would overload with reasons why it sucks and trying to find what possible reason there could be for it or I would walk up to them coldly and basically break down why they're wrong and I'm right and then I would do that literally every day, staging a Cold War situation, pressing on only the areas where they cannot take stuff away from me without making themselves feel bad. Basically, I would manipulate the situation to my desires. you know, like a normal human being who totally hasn't rped too many villains...
