    Guys I'm reading Daughter of the Deep rn, not finished yet, but I have an awesome idea for the ending.

    I know Rick won't do it, but I think it would set up future novels quite nicely.

    (spoilers, obv)

    Picture this, some of Ana's friends have been killed and she's feeling numb. there's a situation where Ana and the reminder of the crew attacks the Arronax crew at a base. Dev and Ana are fighting and they fall down to a platform below. As they're recovering, Ana takes Dev's Leyden gun, it's set to kill, and aims it at Dev. Dev says "You won't kill me! I'm your family! You don't want to lose everyone!" Then Ana considers, then... "HP is gone, Ester is gone, Nehlina is gone... you've killed all my family.

    "I have no brother"

    Then she shoots, killing Dev.

    We cut to an epilogue where she's getting bandaged up and Gem is talking to her frantically. Ana is feeling slight regret, but is glad that they're safe. Then they get news that LI has declared to the world the existence of alt-tech and is starting to distribute the technology for high amounts of money. 

    Aaaaaand that's where the book ends. I would loooooove it if that happens.

      I'm almost done with it and like-

      my gosh-

      I predicted so much-

      I knew Dev was alive for the whole time.

      Then when the scene where Ana shoots Dev three times in hysterics came and I was like "Hol' up- something I predicted for an ending is actually happening?"

    "This war cannot be without casualties," Thaidakar said regretfully. "I will only kill those on the other side if it is completely necessary and there is no other way. If I had to choose between one of my friends dying or thousands of people that I don't even know dying... I would choose for my friend to die. But, sometimes, you don't get to choose and you end up freezing..." Thaidakar shook his draconic head. "We have to choose the lesser of the evils given to us.     Shadow strode forward, Micheal trailing behind him. After a few minutes, they reached the building. Shadow glanced around the ruins.

Micheal followed, "What are you going to do?" "This," Pure darkness emerged from Shadow's pale curling fingers. The darkness formed an arrow in the air, pointing to wherever Moni was. "I took a sample of Nameless's narration and engineered it to find a specific frequency. Aka, it's pointing us to Moni."

    This is, officially, the best thing ever. I thought of this awhile ago and forgot about it, I can't believe that I forgot something so awesome. OOOOH! What if Stay Alive was Cosmere and it was that one high prince talking. Dalinar is Hamilton and Sadeas is Laurens. "Someone should hold (high prince) to his words" "I can't disobey direct orders from Gavilar" "Then I'll do it."

    Shadow and Micheal thanked Bookwyrm. Shadow said, "Well, time to go find Moni..." Micheal nodded. They left in a swirl of darkness. One of Drilk's informants, a measly man with a knack for getting in places where he wasn't wanted, came to Drilk. "I have news, sir."

    Time to prove that Shadow's a softie. Shadow smiled as Micheal dealt the cards again. As the game went on, Micheal began cheating more heavily. Shadow winked at Curiosity and flicked his finger slightly, the two cards in Curiosity's hand changing forms to aces, thereby making Curiosity when if it goes on. Shadow says, "All in," shoving his stuff into the middle of the pile. Micheal blinks, "Fine. All in." He does the same.

    When it's far too late for you to be up and you put on Sunflower by Post-Malone while writing an over dramatic scene about drawing.

    And then you break out in dance moves.
