  1. I honestly love long division of polynomials, the hand cramps not so much. I'm doing Algebra 2 right now in school. Gets trigonometry Inserts a writing essay
  2. Sorry! Haven't been paying attention for the past few days. This character changed a lot through the course of their series.
  3. Gets math Inserts long division
  4. Oathbringer is probably my favorite Stormlight book. I thought that the pacing was really good and the final battle was well written.
  5. Fantastic! I hope you do more... perfectly captures the brother dynamic.
  6. Amazing! I love the detail. The two storms is a great addition, as is the oath at the bottom and the bridge in the right bottom corner
  7. That was almost poetry. I have to say that I feel the same way, boy I could never put it was beautifully as you! My friends all laugh at me and call me crazy when I try to tell them about the book I'm currently reading, especially if it's a Cosmere one, because they can't understand what it's like to be that invested in a book. The characters become your friends and it is truly heartbreaking when one is them dies. Even though the magic doesn't fade during a re-read (one of the best parts of the Cosmere), it's never the same after you know one of the characters dies. In this sense, I can say that I am proud to be a book nerd because it allows me to experience something so wonderful.
  8. Light and dark purple What is your favorite creature from any mythology?
  9. You get a right sock. Inserts Oathbringer
  10. Whimsical, because it sounds exactly like it sounds. I also like this word.
  11. I have lots of Sanderson shirts but not that one! There is a new item on my birthday list...
  12. Some of the best!
  13. Gets a chainsawed million dollar bill. It is now unusable. Inserts my dead phone
  14. Is this why Vasher was able to get to Roshar? I've always been confused about that.
  15. Granted. The movie is five hours long with exact dialogue from the book and terrible CGI during the actions scenes I wish that Legion would be made into a tv show.
  16. Surgebinding, specifically the surges of Transformation, Gravitation, and Illumination My second favorite is probably Breaths because I find the heightenings fascination.
  17. I really liked Hawkeye. Hawkeye has long been one of my favorite Avengers; he is so underrated! The finale was great, I loved how Kate's relationship with her mom played out. Just the right combination of emotions showed how Kate had to make the sacrifice but also felt bad about it. Yelena and Clint's final scene almost made me cry! It was so emotional and sweet. Clint bringing Kate home for Christmas was amazing too. I thought the end-credits scene was a little weird, but I'd been wanting to see more of that musical since it was first showed, so no big complaints.
  18. Gets a paleontologist Inserts history
  19. gets frosting Inserts writing class
  20. I just finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy, Six of Crows duology, and King of Scars (not Rule of Wolves yet) by Leigh Bardugo. I also read The Lunar Chronicles and Heartless by Marissa Meyer. The Throne of Glass series is my current conquest.
  21. Also a Chasmfiend
  22. I noticed an interesting and possibly completely unrelated thing today while browsing the coppermind. The ancient enemies of Jaddeth (from Elantris) are said to be the Svrakiss. They are described as half-ghost and half demon. My first thought on reading this was that Svrakiss sounded like shades. Then I found this topic. Further down on the page, it says that the Svrakiss are believed (by Shu-Dereth) to be the souls of men barred from entering heaven. If Threnody's Cognitive and Physical realms are disconnected from the Spiritual, it could have resulted in the Shades. Like I said, it could be completely unrelated, but it's possible that there is a connection (or at least the Svrakiss were Brandon's original idea for Shades)
