  1. It reminded me of Awakening for some reason.
  2. Well I'll be 24 in a little over 3 months and Stormlight alone with staggered release dates will likely take around 10+ years to complete. THEN we have Dragonsteel. And all the other little stuff. Gosh. Honestly, back when I had severe depression and suicidal ideation, the Cosmere series was one of two media that was majorly preventing me from doing anything.
  3. This is killing me. A meta-series is everything I have ever wanted from any media I have consumed. I'm gonna be in my 40s before this entire Cosmere series is complete. I need next week to come fast because I am long overdue for my sustaining dosage. ;_;
  4. I ended up going with "Thanatos' Chime". Sounded better than the other version I had. Now I've gotta think up a description. It's cool. A friend of mine names all his major TF2 weapons and somehow has one or two too-popular tumblr posts because of it.
  5. So I have this Phandom Assassin scythe:http://dota2.gamepedia.com/The_Gleaming_Seal For a name, I am leaning towards "The Chime of Thanatos" but I am bad with descriptions. I actually thought something Cosmere-related would be swell so if you have any ideas or suggestions for either Name or Description, I would be appreciative. Thanks!
  6. Makes me wonder. Are any Shardworlds currently technologically advanced far enough for spacetravel? If not, were any pre-Shattering? And what is the most advanced Shardworld in the present, or are they all around the same progression rate (which I add because if Mistborn will have a modern/future series then I doubt he'll bounce around technology-wise between series since they've mostly seemed the same in similarity so far.)
  7. I forgot Elantris was supposed to be a trilogy. And Dragonsteel is gonna be a 'collection' since Liar is part of it instead of a 7-series? Huh, neat. I wonder what the deal is gonna be for the mid-SLA break as in what are the plot-reasons for it and when it'll pick up chronologically afterwards because I'm assuming it's a timeskip. I have a feeling whatever happens during modern-Mistborn will have some connection or relavance.
  8. Aside from however world-hopping works, will time travel ever be involved? I really doubt it though.
  9. Ohh, okay. I thought it was overall; not core. Thanks. Makes sense. Thanks too.
  10. If you get a chance, would you mind asking him how often he frequents this forum to read theories for his own personal amusement, and see if he'll give a rough percentage as to how many popular theories are more correct than not? I wouldn't ask for the theories being completely right as he'd probably just RAFO that. And/or how many books he has planned for the total Cosmere series? I believe he said 36 at one point but this was years ago and I'm fairly certain that has changed.
  11. Fair enough. I was just thinking of something like a running ticker or whatever to show the most recent 'reveals' but an overall consolidation of everything that's been given out in terms of information in one place is something that I've been desiring for a long time.
  12. I thought it was because of the duality between them. Something that wants to Ruin should have more destructive power than something that wants to Preserve.
  13. I feel like something as significant and powerful as Adonalsium shattering would have a much stronger effect on a land-mass than just shattering its landform. I figure it would be more like a large asteroid striking Earth (just as an example of the damage potential)
  14. Do/did the Shards ever have symbols associated with them? Like how the Metallic Arts do? Or even Adonalsium itself having one?
  15. All I know is technology is very different in the South (from what Sanderson wrote in my copy of AoL) but I feel like that has to be an obvious given since Allomancy may not "exist" down there plus they're more exposed to the Sun, right? Or whatever the Cosmere version of the Sun is in that specific galaxy. I'm rambling.
  16. I wonder if all the past Slivers will show up again.
  17. Oh wow. Thanks, man! That's interesting to know of.
  18. The fallacy. I was typing my reasoning why I thought of my theory then I caught myself mid-sentence. I wouldn't understand why it wouldn't but it can possibly be not-conscious.
  19. I'm a bit late but can somebody explain the recipient of The Letter being a dragon?
  20. Which part does the fallacy apply to? Adonalsium having a conscience and sentience? If so, then it makes sense.
  21. Did Adonalsium take a physical form? I don't remember if the Shards do. In my head, I imagine Adonalsium as a silver sphere. I suppose because all the Shards form into the whole and for some reason, it reminds me of pieces of a sphere/circular object.
  22. The Shards have conscience and sentience so Adonalsium would have had to as well, obviously, but I wonder if it means that Adonalsium was wielded by someone, like a God of the Cosmere. I want to know what physical form Adonalsium takes, if it does. I imagine it as a sphere.
  23. That's a better way of describing what I meant. I imagine she now knows about Shadesmar (possible explanation from Jasnah that is; not from the actual encounter herself) but I doubt she's Cosmere-aware. And I kind of doubt Jasnah is as well but hey, who knows. So now I'm sure people know that they can--or how to--access Shadesmar but they don't understand it or the implications it provides such as worldhopping or even that other worlds exist.
  24. Well if worldhopping is a completely involved process then one couldn't accidentally worldhop. But since we don't exactly know how it works definitively, that's why I wonder. Could someone be in a location where there is a concentrated amount of Cosmere-energies that could possibly transport that person somewhere else against his will? I'm just throwing out extreme examples for the purpose of clarification.
  25. It's up to you although it seems like tedious work. However, I wouldn't know how to get something to auto-remove after so long. I'd say a compendium of the last six month's should be fine enough.
