  1. Type (Color=teal)Rae(/color), with square brackets instead of parentheses.
  2. @Amanuensis, want to prolong the game for me and Bard, like you mentioned? @TheMightyLopen, you have yet to switch your vote. Oh. Ninja'd.
  3. Lopen. Conquestor. If this doesn't pan out, I will switch back.
  4. I have 11 Merit. Also, at Rae's insistence, I will put my intended vote on paper. So, Rae.
  5. @Chaos, he didn't mean to summon you. He was talking to my sister, @The_Lady_of_Chaos, who is actually in this game.
  6. Okay, Mage, the story has moved a little ways past our encounter. Go ahead and have us part ways. Well, this was proving to be far more interesting than expected. It looked as though Sanis was going to have some fun in the next few days after all. A man was already dead and Tiberius was wracked with grief. Exciting times indeed. He made his way toward the medbay, where the action was almost certainly centered. As he went, his thoughts strayed back to the insult that had been paid him. In all the commotion he had nearly forgotten. Nyanah, Jefry, Tenebrum. They would pay. Not soon, though. Let them run. Let them hide. Let them feel safe again. Nyanah, Jefry, Tenebrum. He had their names. And if the Laughing Man had your name, he had your life.
  7. Apologies. I've been sort of busy the past couple of days, and haven't been reading RP. Let me catch up.
  8. If it will keep the game from ending for just one more cycle, I will put my vote on Lopen.
  9. Literally one night. I am holding Orlok's spike in my hand. He was an Elantrian.
  10. You're aware that this lynch is intended to ensure that there is no night, yes? EDIT: Nevermind. Forgot that you were finished again.
  11. The Player List is a little messed up.
  12. Then it can't be Awakened, unfortunately. I'll try and work something out all the same. For now, I gotta focus on killing Orlok.
  13. "Now if you will excuse us, I think me and Tenebrum here should go get some food because i'm getting kind of hungry." The buffoon grabbed Tenebrum by the elbow and dragged her away. "Um... I actually have to do something. Ah, talk to someone. Bye!" And there went Nyanah, dashing off into the crowd. Sanis stood and watched his evening's entertainment just... Run away. He struggled to contain his irritation. His rage. He would find them. He would find them in the dark and wrap his slender fingers around their wretched necks and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze and... No. Control. Control. There were too many observers. Tiberius would know. Sanis composed his features and took a few deep breaths. He could wait. He would wait. But they would suffer for the insult they had paid him.
  14. Does it have an Investiture level of None, or is it Inert? And don't worry about that. Now that I have Orlok, I don't need any more bodies. Here's hoping he doesn't have any protection tonight.
  15. It can still clear innocents. That's not as useful as catching an Eliminator, but it's worth something.
  16. Can your item be Awakened? Can I either of you accomplish your goal by holding it temporarily, then passing it on to the other?
  17. Bugsy, I didn't understand half of that, but I'm pretty sure it was incredible.
  18. "Tenebrum! And Jefry! How good to see you here." Sanis's smile deepened as he got to his feet. He pulled at the tails of his cloak a few times -- they almost seemed to be glowing. Just as he noticed, however, the glow, whatever it was, faded, and his cloak fell back into place. "My new friend Nyanah here was just asking me why our esteemed host had called us here tonight, and I found myself unable to answer her. Do either of you know what old Tiberius is up to?" Sanis looked over the pair with distaste. Blasts, they were as frightened as Nyanah. The price of a reputation, he supposed. Hopefully the three would warm to each other, let their guards down. Perhaps there would be some entertainment this evening after all.
  19. "Excellent, excellent!" Sanis beamed. This was the way. Get to know her. Find the chinks in her armor. Sanis spotted Tenebrum and Jefry speaking a short distance away. Perfect. Their simple-minded cheerfulness could put this Nyanah at ease in a way that his false smiles obviously weren't. "Ah! Tenebrum! Could that be you? It's been so long!" He started taking strides toward the pair, but he immediately stumbled over his own cloak, falling to the ground. Someone had tied the ends of his cloak together! Sanis scowled darkly, looking around for the culprit. Seeing Nyanah, however, he quickly schooled his features into a foolish grin. "Apologies for my clumsiness, esteemed lady," he said wryly. "Might I escort you over to meet with some friends of mine?"
  20. "Um, the ArchGovernor's Ball?" The girl seemed so deliciously fragile as she spoke. As though the merest push could send her shattering into a million tiny fragments. "Hm. Well, I confess that I don't know much about it. I usually stay out of politics -- it simply bores me." Sanis grinned apologetically. "But as far as I'm aware, none of us know much about what's going on. It would seem that Tiberius, in all his glorious wisdom, has deemed it proper to pause the entire war for some... party." "I can't seem to recall your name. Have we met before? I am called Sanis. If you like, I could show you around, and introduce you to a few people. I have something of a... reputation, around here." Sanis smiled winningly. Is that 100 words? I don't have a counter.
  21. Yeah, I agree that too much information, especially as the result of heavy regulation, makes the game stagnant. I learned that lesson in LG19, with Operation Windwhisper. It secures a village win, but at the cost of the fun of the game. That said, it wouldn't be a bad idea for everyone to keep an eye on the approximate Merit earned each round. If we see players rotating out with their activity, or some other anomaly, we should take note of it. I'd also caution that it's dangerous to assume that the Eliminators aren't as connected as usual. They don't start out with a doc, but they can buy group PMs as easily as we can. As soon as they figure out who everyone in the chain is, they can become fully connected.
  22. "Excuse me, where is this place?" Sanis observed the half-Gold newcomer. She was disoriented, confused. Easy enough prey for a knife. All these people watching, though... It could get complicated. Not a knife, then. "My dear lady, do you refer to the Aerie, or to the ArchGovernor's ball?" Sanis gave his most magnanimous smile. Poison, perhaps? He knew he had a vial on him somewhere. But the woman had no drink, and it would be suspicious to follow her around until she did. still, it was better than the knife, though, if just barely. "In either case, I find myself somewhat at a loss to explain anything that you would not already know. I have never interested myself in such things." Perhaps he could lure her aside somehow? He knew his way around well enough. If he gave her some kind of a tour... But no. People would see them leaving together. Sanis sighed. Perhaps it was for the best that he couldn't find a way to safely kill the girl. It was only wishful thinking, after all; Tiberius would doubtless be cross with him if he murdered one of the ArchGovernor's lancers.
  23. Clothing, you say? Perhaps we can work something out... Meet me on Sel. EDIT: Wait. Is the clothing invested at all?
