  1. >:(. Y u no like me Alright, for real this time, I should be more active from here on. Should have a good bit more time to do stuff. But I said that before, so we'll see.
  2. Welcome to the club. You get used to it after the fourth or fifth game.
  3. Hi, I'm here. Not super liking Aeoryi right now, but I think this is probably just how they are. Otherwise, don't really have any other thoughts. I guess I like Mat, he feels like he's in his v!meta. But that's about it.
  4. Well I didn't know that I would be when signing up . I'd probably be a good bit more active if a certain RP thing hadn't popped up.
  5. Yeah, I'm just pretty excited for that one topic, and a little bit bored of yet another blackout game. I should pick up a bit more steam soon.
  6. Most of those RPs had decently extensive worldbuilding discussions. At least I think that's what it means. I wasn't in any of them.
  7. I would also like to be put in the PM. I guess I can give one more roleplay a try.
  8. ... ... Elephentum.
  9. Hmmm. I might be interested in this. Maybe everyone has two (not really but you'll understand in a second) powers. So a red/green has one red power and one green, like if it's red you light the thing on fire, if it's green you heal the thing. But you can't tell the difference, so it's a 50/50 whether you kill it or heal it.
  10. Well, the Mage abilities do lean more in the villages favor. A vote manip is pro-elim, but a roleblock and a protect (a full faction protect especially) are pretty pro village. Why? Do you know something extra, or do you just find it more fun?
  11. *smiles wide* Too wide *a Cheshire Cat with a name tag reading "Aman" leers* I'm the Goalkeeper. Or the Striker, or the Captain. I'm not picky. You?
  12. I'll play as Danji, a coinshot who is so dirt poor that he doesn't even have the coins to shoot. Unfortunately, he's also ain't telligent 'nough to use nails instead, so he's basically powerless.
  13. I've only read three of his so far, the Graveyard Book (I think, it was a while ago, the one with the kid who lived in a graveyard), Good Omens (though that was co-authored, but it still counts), and now this. I remember not being too impressed by the Graveyard Book, but I liked Good Omens even if it was hindered by me reading it in audio book form. The show redeemed every aspect I didn't like for that one. I will definitely be reading more from him, but he's written so many genres that I'm not necessarily a fan of that I'm being kinda pick and choosy on which ones. The thing that got me to pick it up was Intentionally Blank actually. They were discussing "the Great American Novel," and had a laugh when a book by a Brit entered their list. I had also heard it called a modern classic, so I figured I might as well read it. Definitely glad I did. Yeah, they don't tend to be my thing though. I only appreciate prose in audio form due to how I read, so while I love KKC, I can never really appreciate Pat's admittedly magnificent prose. I'm also looking forward to the novella, mostly because it's a sign to me that Pat is doing something.
  14. Quit on Clash of Kings, and I've started Red Rising 3, Morningstar. It is validating my decision with its sheer fun amazingness. I also finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and it was an absolute delight. It deserves all the praise I hear it get, and it's consideration as a near modern classic is deserved. I highly recommend it. Now just to start on A Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss. I tried to read it in e-book form, but the pictures were glitchy so I stopped. I hope I can finish it this time.
  15. You know what, I'll sign up as Cain Abbel, a man that wants nothing more than to escape a mistake he made in his youth.
  16. I'm pretty sure Brandon had already confirmed this in WoBs before TSM was released.
  17. I'll also back option A, sounds like a fun simple game.
  18. Ooooh. Good quote. I think that does align more with my original thoughts, as I doubt he would reference anything other than the chase as his exile.
  19. If you take it that way, which I don't think most people do. I personally think Sunlit, if not the earliest SP, is at least before Tress, which I think is likely the last in world. And that is a very long time to run from an organization as powerful as the Night Brigade seems. But on the other hand, Hoid did say Sig has seen more of the Cosmere than him, which should be a feat that should take some time. So while we should definitely be posting these questions to Brandon when the spoiler stream rolls around, I don't think there's any way to know in the near future.
  20. Well, that's a bare minimum to be older than the Greater Good. I got the impression that he was approaching or had just surpassed his hundreds and was somewhere in the 95-120 range, but that's pure guesswork.
  21. That's roughly my guess. He takes his Oaths in SA5/SAGap, gets the Dawnshard maybe in SA5, probably in SA6/7 in a sort of Everstorm style big event, then bonds Aux in the 7-9 period, then absorbs him. Or the alternative: Sig swears the 4th, has to take the Dawnshard as the end of SA5, bonds Aux over the break, has him for "decades" before absorbing him sometime in the back half. Don't think we can really know until after SA5 though.
  22. I feel that, with how he seems to be jumping around, these are things that a scientifically minding Sigzil could just find out. He does say that he's older than the Greater Good, which puts him at least in his eighties by my guess. He's what, late thirties as of Stormlight? If Hoid of all people thinks Sig has seen more of the cosmere than himself, that's at least a couple decades bouncing around. Which leaves the gap between the halves of SA, then a short few years doing something I suppose. Could be studying Arcana, could be something else. I am starting to agree with you though, thinking over the "when you first learned they were chasing you" line. I don’t think that would be written that way if it was immediate.
