  1. Don't know where the Coppermind is getting that from, but still, an extra 20,000 Breaths should still be able to bruteforce connection to at least one place, if not the whole Cosmere.
  2. It is, but like I said, twice the amount of power feels like it should be able to brute force the same effect.
  3. It's implied he's been running for decades, you can pick a lot up in that time. But my assumptions could definitely be wrong. I just thought that was the implication, and it seemed to be supported by him having almost hodgepodge knowledge. He could have also learned those things while on Roshar one way or another. That would be a good answer to both of our suppositions.
  4. I agree with everything up to five. Afterwards, who knows. I got the impression that the Night Brigade was pretty much always chasing him, but that could be faulty.
  5. I mostly agree on this, especially as Tress is supposed to be pretty far future. Not sure about your point on using Aon Tia though. My biggest question is really where SP4 falls in relation to the front and back half of Stormlight.
  6. This was a very good story. Definitely beat out Tress and FWHB, though not quite YatNP. YatNP is simply too different of a story to truly compare, but I think I still prefer Sunlit Man because it's simply more my kind of book. This is probably the best character arc I've seen in any single book, like, ever, and rivals most series long character arcs. The only one I can think of that comes close is Cal's in the Licanius Trilogy, and Sunlit's other elements are far better. Also, I've calculated that Zellion/Sigzil can skip with the equivalent of just under 20,000 Breaths. Which makes me think that Susebron, with 50,000, should be able to do the same thing. Even if the Dawnshard is helping, he should be able to brute force it with more than double the amount. Just find that interesting. Kinda a relatively small amount when you think about it. Definitely interested in what the future of the Cosmere and especially Stormlight 5 has to hold. Unless it gets confirmed otherwise, I'm guessing Sig is going to get into the upper oaths with his honorspren in SA5, then bond the Dawnshard either at the end or during the back half, but either way I think bonding Aux is going to happen in the back half. Anyone disagree? Other notes, the Night Brigade felt pretty suitably terrifying and bastardly. The Scadrians (Southern, I think it's going to matter a lot going into space age cosmere) felt arrogant and cold with just a touch of evil.
  7. Original by my guess. My roleplay character will come soon.
  8. Can't really talk right now, but want to do my best to insure an Araris exe.
  9. @Experience, is the VC accurate, specifically the count on me?
  10. I guess nothing special happens when the list is correct. Or I guess it could be wrong, but I kinda doubt it.
  11. Walk in, vote Araris, do not elaborate, walk away.
  12. Yeah, I'll confirm what Archer is saying. I have the standard Soother ability of simply subtracting a vote (should note that this effects train not individual), or I can choose to move a vote, but this will cause my vote to be removed. Edit!: wait no, I'm dumb! Apparently I was misreading my PM. I checked again, and I can subtract a vote like I thought, but my other ability is to add a vote, in which casemy vote is removed. So for the confusion. @Archerso you don't miss this. I'm pretty sure this reveals the mystery Soother here.
  13. I find this curious considering the relative power levels of what the other roles seem to do.
  14. When I put in the order to soothe, it was 3/3/2, with me being tied. Not trusting it to a coinflip when I can save a confirmed villager with my manip.
  15. I'd agree that this is just an inherent disagreement that kinda stops mattering at this point, so yes, let's agree to move on.
  16. Nuh uh. That is exactly the opposite of what's been going on. I really do not like the way you seem to be trying to twist this. You have consistently been claiming that me and Araris have taken the easy way out that limits discussion. Really don't like this post, but I don't think I'll vote you for it yet because this could just be a misunderstanding.
  17. I'll just go ahead and say, as information helps the village disproportionately in blackouts, I did in fact Soothe the vote back when the votes were tied. Well, honestly, I'm not surprised either despite my vote. My vote was pretty much purely informational. So, going off the new list, I'd agree that the top two that aren't exed are put as elims, and probably also agree that there's some extra wincon nonsense going on with the list.
  18. Yeah, not really thank you very much. One of these is much more appealing than the other.
  19. I mean I was alive for two days, but was near completely absent for one and a half of the days. Should note that my recent games show that this is at worst NAI, and at best v!indicative.
  20. So yourself? And I am already voting Lab over Archer. You know what happens when you assume.
  21. I really have no idea. I kind of lean towards no at this point, but that's purely because it seems unlikely. At this point, I think the only way to find out is to kill you. I normally don't vote for a combination of two reasons: I struggle to form suspicions early game, and I don’t like being wrong. But something that will always make me vote is mechanics. This falls pretty firmly into the mechanics section, but also, no matter how this turns out, I don't really think it can be wrong. If you flip elim, great, if you flip v, then we get a lot more information. Actually, I would be completely fine with voting Labyrinth (Archer), I'd rather not exe an actually active player this early on. What's the argument if Araris gets exed? Well, he voted based on something I didn't agree with. How is that any more alignment indicative? It's like Mat said, me and Araris aren't any less LHF than Archer and Labyrinth. But what do we get from a flip of Araris that we don't get from a flip of Archer/Labyrinth? Archer/Labyrinth is more likely to reveal that the alignment list is incorrect than Araris, who is much more likely to create a false positive or false negative. This is an 11 person MR. It's kinda hard to wait a cycle. What if the list only changes when one or both of the reds die? Then the cycle is just wasted. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it seems like you think we don’t know know enough to do anything, meanwhile I don't think we know enough to do nothing.
  22. My guess is that there's some underlying mechanic balancing it out, perhaps your rotating alignment theory, or perhaps something else. I don't really know, but I also don't think there's any other way to find out. Well, most importantly, it would show whether or not Archer flips red. It also very well might reveal additional mechanics that otherwise wouldn't be revealed. Here's my question for you. What information would we receive if we don't exe Archer, that we wouldn't receive if we did? I'm still don't understand what you're arguing for, what is your alternative? You aren't voting for anyone as far as I can tell. A no-exe isn't exactly happening, if it's even possible. So what are you trying to do?
  23. Blasphemy! Burn it with fire! Dragon fire!
  24. @DeTess, well, it's pretty clear that is far from the case. Me and Araris are practically the only ones going after Archer, and everyone else is neutral or against us. Perhaps your point was valid initially, but can you really still say we're stalemating discussion or making an excusable vote (I know those weren't your exact words, but that seems to be the gist)? I doubt most elims would hold up under the pressure me and Araris have been under without hedging. I would argue we will get much more information from exing Archer than we would from not. The list could be effected by all sorts of things, maybe it only updates when a Red dies. I don't actually believe that, but it's possible. I think that any information we would get c2 without exing Archer we will still get, but also we will potentially get more and more useful information as well.
