  1. "Yeah." She paused. "Aluminum! That's it!" She said excitedly. She then rushed to the nearest tree, and started hacking branches off of it. If I can soulcast aluminum weapons, we can use them against the Dakhor Monks!
  2. "Thanks! You're good too." She said happily. Her face then reddened again. "And, uh, sorry for biting you." She said her face was bright red. "I had a flashback of a time someone grabbed me as a child. I bit the person, and was able to get away. It was a good thing too, as that person was practicing the Jeskeri Mysteries..." She shuddered. "That would not have gone well." She was, at that point, distracted. She had gotten a bit lost in thought. She then stood up. "Honestly though, you don't grab at an awakener." She said with a grin. "Especially if they are an enemy. We awakeners have more options when fighting enemies. Including strangling people with their own clothing."
  3. "Sure. Just..." She grabbed at his jacket awkwardly. "Your breath to mine." She grinned.
  4. Veila waved enthusiastically. "Hi! I'm Veila!" She said happily.
  5. Shade, now going by her given name Elieen, walked up to the front desk again, ready to fill out lots and lots of paperwork. I hate paperwork.
  6. Her face reddened. "Sorry. I had deja vu there for a minute." She was extremely embarrassed. That didn't stop her from digging her elbow into his side though.
  7. She rushed over to him, trying to tackle him to the ground. She had grabbed her rapier again.
  8. She grabbed his sleeve. "My breath to give for life to live." She said quickly and clearly. "Hold things." She pictured the arms wrapping around his body, immobilizing him without choking him.
  9. Camelia quickly dodged to the side again. "If we were enemies, this would be way easier." She complained.
  10. She yelped as she tripped, and then turned it into a roll, hopping up quickly. She got back into a defensive position.
  11. "So... You've heard of the coded trial, right?"
  12. "And my garage was completely destroyed." She said sadly. "It's been my home for as long as I can remember. I mean, I only remember a few months, but still."
  13. "Ah! Wait! I need my weapon first!" She pulled out her rapier, and fell into a defense position. "Ready!"
  14. She snorted. "I'm not so sure..." "Agreed." She said, turning back to her notes. "Would either of you know the chemical formula of ortho diethynylbenzene dianion by any chance? I can't for the life of me remember what it is... Bases aren't my strong suit. I tend to forget them."
  15. "Wait for me!" She said, scrambling after.
  16. "Sure!" She said, beaming. She had mostly recovered from when she had launched herself, and was ready to fight. She uncorked another vial, and swallowed the bronze. She flared it, jolting herself awake again. She then grabbed one of her ropes. "Your breath to mine." She let out a sigh of joy.
