  1. "I'm okay as long as I don't have to do any leader-y things. Which it sounds like I might." She did not like that idea.
  2. "Would you mind explaining as if I know nothing about Narration? Because that is pretty much the case. I don't know exactly what Narration is, and I definitely don't know what Silence does..."
  3. "I meant in practice, but whatever."
  4. "Yeah. We are splitting up, right?" She attuned Determination. "Hm, does everyone here have problems with memories?" "I don't think so."
  5. Camelia looked at her horrified. Ahhhhh! The third metallic art! Ahhh! AHHHHHHH! LEADERSHIP POSITIONS! AHHHHHHHH! She tried getting her facial expression under control, but it was hard.
  6. She looked at him warily. Yup. He's insane. "Uh, okay then."
  7. She grinned at him. "That's the spirit!" My plan worked. Yes! "That sounds a bit terrifying." Was that trauma I sensed?
  8. She shrugged. "There are plenty of places I don't know much about." She scowled. "Like Taldain. I've only managed to get onto that planet once so far. Stupid tidally locked planet. Stupid Autonomy."
  9. "I should move there." She said, seriously. "Actually, I need there to be a law that prohibits me from being in charge of anything that isn't myself." She grinned, and kept eating her food.
  10. Stop! I want to talk about cheese. This isn't easy for me, just like cheese isn't easy for me to digest. (I think I already did this, but whatever)
  11. "I wholeheartedly agree. My parents were terrified. I had been left in the town while they went on an extra dangerous adventure. They were looking for these highly invested things called Dawnshards. They are supposed to have something to do with the Shattering of Adonalsium. I dunno. It was all just sucky. I now personally believe there should be a law against teenagers being put in charge of... Well... Anything really."
  12. "I know, right? Anyone, and I mean anyone, with a light eye color is higher on the hierarchy. And I was 15! They could have chosen someone else, but I was both a Lighteyes, and had proven myself to be a capable fighter, so I got put in charge. Never again. Ever." She shuddered. "They expected me to know what to do. It was awful."
  13. "Oh, yeah, probably. It'll take years of hard work, but yeah. " "If I found the person who decided to base government on eye color, I would punch 'Em in the face as hard as I could."
  14. "It was so stressful. I had to get them from place to place without any Fused or Singers finding us. The one time a group of Singers found us, I had to fight them off. Alone. And, I had to organize everything. I had to make sure no one got left behind, that no one starved, and they all felt safe. Leadership is the worst. But it was worth it when I was able to get them to Urithiru safely."
  15. "I was in charge of a city." She repeated. "The other Lighteyes who lived there were basically on vacation when the Everstorm hit. The people were not prepared for that. Anyway, the Lighteyes that was still there got hit in the head with a brick. I successfully evacuated the town, and got them to Urithiru, so I did a good job. No one died on the way, although one man was seriously injured. I stitched him up. Anyway, a Lighteyes taking authority was normal for them, so they accepted it."
  16. "What? It was an emergency. And I was the only Lighteyes not in a coma in the city. I did fairly well in my opinion."
  17. "What idiot would put a 16 year old in a commanding position?" She grinned. "In other words, yes!" Her eyes twinkled. "I should tell you about it sometime."
  18. Ha! Jokes on you! I already can't do social stuff! Granted. Your bane is that you lost $29.99. This next wish is for the entire world. I wish for COVID-19 to be eradicated!
  19. She glared at Ayia, and rubbed her already bruised arm. Still annoyed, she started eating.
