  1. She looked at him confused. "Ex-leader? I'm sorry, but until recently I was living in a secluded cabin in the mountains. I only left in the winter when I wanted extra supplies. It got crushed by an avalanche last month. This is the first time I've stepped foot into a settlement since then. I wasn't aware that he had died or been replaced or whatever." Her face had reddened sometime during the explanation of why she was so out of the loop. She was a bit embarrassed.
  2. She sighed. "Yes. I know what you are talking about."
  3. "Yep." "I'm fine. I've broken my nose many, many times before. Actually, I've broken most of my bones at least once."
  4. "Yup. It ended when I launched myself at her with investiture. I think I may have broken my nose. I was being a bit stupid. Although, in my defense, I did that when training with a teacher once, and it worked."
  5. "Sure." She went to the nearest empty table, and sat down. I think my nose is broken. Dang it.
  6. "It's not an oxymoron. I'm being completely literal right now." She winced. "Ow." She said with a grimace.
  7. "What do you expect? I'm 16." She said with a grin. She then sprinted over to the other rope. "Your breath to mine." She said. She then stuffed that rope into her bag, and sprinted back. "Besides. I usually soulcast my enemies. Or strangle them with breath. Or use my shardblade. Although, I can't access that last one here. Anyway, those... Weren't exactly options in this situation."
  8. "Your breath to mine." She said after grabbing the rope. She then shoved it into her bag. "As I said. I've been doing this for a while. I've been trained by many teachers on many different worlds. Plus, I'm a bronze compounder. I can stay awake and train for longer."
  9. You just collapsed on the ground. She thought dryly.
  10. "Oh, it was. With some of the things I've gone through, I don't know how I'm still alive." She got up, and dusted herself off. "That was fun! We should do this again sometime. Oh, and can I have my rope back?" She grabbed her mistcloak. "Your breath to mine." She happily smiled as the breath in her cloak, sleeves, and pants went back to her. "I don't know how the rest of you live without BioChromatic Breath." She said blissfully.
  11. She waved her hand. "Eh, I've had much worse." She shuddered, remembering some of the other times mentioned. "This is nothing compared to some other injuries I've had. I once had the skin on the left side of my face almost completely come off." She winced. "Now that was excruciatingly painful."
  12. "At this point, I think you won." She said. Ugh. My head hurts. Ow. She sighed. "If there's one thing I've learned, it's when to surrender." She rolled onto her back. She had a black eye forming from the impact, and her nose was bleeding. Luckily, she had all of her teeth.
  13. "16. I'm more mature than most, though." Sometimes.
  14. "Bound? What does that mean exactly? Also, what exactly is a 'Narrator'? I never got a clear answer for that."
  15. Dang it. She kept shooting ahead. "Rust and Ruin!" She cursed. I'm an idiot. She smacked her head on the ground. She moaned. "Ow." She just laid there. "I should not have done that."
  16. "Nice!" She said enthusiastically. "That must come in handy."
  17. She grabbed another rope from her bag, and positioned it properly. Okay. Focus. This one is tricky. She had 4 in total. "My breath to yours. Propel things." A second later, she shot at Ayia arms out, trying to grab onto something she could awaken.
  18. "I didn't understand half of what you just said." She said flatly.
  19. She grinned. "I assume you aren't actually an artist. I'm a strategist, what are you?"
  20. She immediately dropped to the floor, and rolled to the side. She got up as quickly as she could.
