  1. "Uh... Not personally. I've never met him." He said. "I can tell the person who has met him though." He offered. And I need to join their side. The boss doesn't really care if we live or die.
  2. His jaw dropped. "Uh..." He was speechless. "Sure?"
  3. The guy looked at him, shocked. "How did... What... Who are you?" He was genuinely baffled.
  4. "How many dark lords are there?" She said confused. "Because I didn't know there were any this morning..."
  5. The people (obviously) didn't notice. There was only one other person in the building at the time, and she was in an office. The rest were at their homes.
  6. Uh... *thinks, which is hard when you just woke up* ...Zane?
  7. The guy finished, and went to make himself a cup of coffee. (I won't detail this because I haven't ever made or drank a cup of coffee.)
  8. The computer didn't have internet, but the guy didn't need internet. He went onto an outdated forms app, and added the date, names, and address of the situation with Adrienne. He then opened Word, and typed up a small summary of what had happened.
  9. The taller guy walked into a room (his office) and sat down, while the shorter guy logged onto the janky computer that had been sitting on the main desk for about 10 years.
  10. "I wonder why the boss would have us attack the Ghostbloods." Said the taller man. He was both the one to talk to Adrienne, and the one who had been outside while the shorter one unlocked the door. "Me too. It doesn't seem like his best decision. Do you think they will find us?" The shorter man asked. The taller guy shrugged. "Well, I sure hope not. I don't really want to die anytime soon..." He sighed. The shorter guy pushed open a door. It had stairs that led into the main office. No one was in that specific room at that moment.
  11. The man who was waiting outside sighed. "It would be much easier if they made one of those for gasses too." He said frustrated. The other man nodded, and they headed over to a side hallway after closing and locking the door.
  12. They appeared in front of the small building that blended into the other buildings around it. One of them stepped onto a small grate to the side of the door, and changed into water. A moment later, he flipped on a light switch, and unlocked the door.
  13. Both men left, and then immediately turned into smoke. They headed to a small base nearby with Aluminum lined walls. It had a hidden basement that was also aluminum lined.
  14. He looked to the other guy who reluctantly nodded. He then looked back. "We had hopes for you. We were thinking about recruiting you, but since you refuse to cooperate..." He came at her with the knife, which slipped out of his hand as he randomly sneezed. With a sigh, he got up, and turned around. "I'll give you another chance." He said, as he turned to leave. "Succeed, and we won't hunt you down."
  15. He raised his eyebrow. "Tell me what happened." He pulled out a knife. "Or else."
  16. "Oh, they aren't Ghostbloods." He smiled darkly. "They are from your world. And we had hoped the blame would be put on you, and not us. Now, tell me what happened."
  17. The man sighed, taking the coins and putting them in his pocket. He glanced toward another table, and the man there shook his head. He looked back. "What happened." He asked, irritated.
  18. He put up a finger. "Ah, but I paid you a bit in advance."
  19. "Did you ask?" He held out his hand. "Hand over the money." He said darkly. "And I might let you live."
  20. The man raised an eyebrow. "You failed." He said, annoyed. "Why did you come back?"
